The card-reading circuit comprises a connection module and a communication control module. The connection module comprises a first connection unit and a second connection unit, and the communication control module comprises a first communication control unit and a second communication control unit. The first communication control unit is connected between a second end of the first connection unit and a reading end of a central processing unit, and the second communication control unit is connected between a second end of the second connection unit and the reading end of the central processing unit. At the same moment, one of the first communication control unit and the second communication control unit is operating. A card reader used by the card-reading circuit can realize the double-sided card reading of an integrated circuit card which is made of a metal material.
MEMORY CARD READER INTERFACE WITH IMPROVED THUMB SCOOP
A memory card reader interface with an improved thumb scoop or recess (208) for preventing improper insertion of a memory card is provided. The memory card reader interface of the present disclosure may be formed on a housing of an electronic or host device and includes a memory card slot having an opening in an outer surface of the housing configured to receive a memory card for insertion into the memory card slot. A recess, also known as a thumb scoop, is configured at the opening of the memory card slot to allow gripping and extraction access to a memory card inside the memory card slot. The recess of the memory card interface of the present disclosure is configured in such a manner as to prevent improper insertion of a memory card into the memory card slot.

The card-reading circuit comprises a connection module and a communication control module. The connection module comprises a first connection unit and a second connection unit, and the communication control module comprises a first communication control unit and a second communication control unit. The first communication control unit is connected between a second end of the first connection unit and a reading end of a central processing unit, and the second communication control unit is connected between a second end of the second connection unit and the reading end of the central processing unit. At the same moment, one of the first communication control unit and the second communication control unit is operating. A card reader used by the card-reading circuit can realize the double-sided card reading of an integrated circuit card which is made of a metal material.

In an example embodiment, the SSD includes a circuit board that is smaller than a case, and the circuit board is secured to the bottom surface of the case by the securing element. The securing element is spaced apart from edges of the case to allow using a circuit board that is smaller than the case.

Card connector
A card connector including a body, a slider in the body, an urging member, and a cover. The body has a slot for insertion and removal of a card. The slider is slidable, together with the card, at least between a first position and a second position inside the body. The second location is on a card removal direction side relative to the first position. The urging member is configured to urge the slider located at the first position in the removal direction. The cover includes a cover body, which is fixed to the body so as to cover the slot, and a flat spring, which extends from the cover body. At least part of the flat spring is so disposed inside the body as to be elastically abuttable on the slider, on the removal direction side relative to the first position, from a card insertion direction side.

The card reader part has a shell inside which a card carrying passage for carrying a card in a first direction perpendicular to a thickness direction of the card and a carrying mechanism are disposed, the card carrying passage has an opening provided at an end face of the shell on one side in the first direction where a bezel with a card inlet and outlet is mounted, a pressing part is disposed inside the shell, the pressing part abuts against the card from one side in a second direction perpendicular to the thickness direction of the card and the first direction, and in an entire preset region of the card carrying passage from the opening to the other side in the first direction with respect to the opening, the pressing part is provided so as to be separated from the card.
