Various embodiments provide a handheld electronic device capable of magnetic field communication. The handheld electronic device includes: a first cover, a second cover, a memory, a display, a processor, first and second antennas, and at least one sensor. The memory stores instructions that enable the processor to: store payment information in the memory; display at least one image or text related to the payment information on the display, in response to at least part of a user input; determine whether a payment process starts by using the electronic device; and transmit, according to the determination as to whether a payment process starts, a first signal related to the payment information via the first antenna, and allow an external device to read the payment information via the second antenna.
Wireless devices for storing a financial account card and methods for storing card data in a wireless device
A non-transitory computer-readable medium stores instructions causing a processor to generate a menu displaying representations of a plurality of cards, the cards having associated card data; receive, from a user input device, a selection corresponding to a selected one of the cards; update the menu to display a representation of the selection; and authorize transmission of the card data associated with the selected card to complete a transaction.
Code scanning terminal for a back of a hand
The present invention relates to a technical field of the code scanning device, and in particular, to a handback-type code scanning terminal. The present invention discloses a handback-type code scanning terminal including a terminal body and a fixing member, the fixing member is used to fix the terminal body on a handback, a code scanning device and a gesture sensing device for triggering an on/off code scanning function of the code scanning device are disposed on the terminal body, the gesture sensing device is used to sense a lifting action of a thumb, and the thumb is a thumb of a hand for fixing the terminal body. The present invention does not have to use hands of an operator, and can release both hands of the operator to perform normal manual tasks, a code scanning operation is convenient, a working efficiency is improved, and a user experience is greatly improved.
Handheld optical information reading device
A handheld optical information reading device is provided which comprises a housing, a grip arranged on the housing, an image capture device, an illuminator, an illumination controller, an imaging controller, an image processor, and a reader. The image capture device captures an image including a symbol. The illuminator includes lighting devices around the periphery of an optical axis of the image capture device. The illumination controller controls the illuminator to selectively successively light up the lighting devices based on a predetermined order whereby irradiating a symbol with light in different illumination directions with respect to the optical axis. The imaging controller controls the image capture device to capture images of the symbol every when the lighting devices are selectively successively lighted up. The image processor creates an outline image of the symbol based on the captured images. The reader reads the symbol based on the created outline image.
Optical information reading device and optical information reading method
An optical information reading device 100 includes an aiming module 60 configured to irradiate aiming light for instructing an imaging area of image data generated by an imaging module, a trigger switch 30 for starting imaging processing by the imaging module, an aiming switch 43B for causing the aiming module 60 to irradiate the aiming light, and a reading unit 81 configured to read information of the symbol. The reading unit 81 is configured to, in an aiming state in which irradiation processing for the aiming light by the aiming module 60 is executed by operation of the aiming switch 43B, detect that the trigger switch 30 is operated and read, based on the image data generated by the imaging processing of the imaging module, information of the symbol included in a predetermined partial area PA corresponding to an irradiation position of the aiming light.
TRANSACTION OBJECT READER WITH ANALOG AND DIGITAL SIGNAL INTERFACE
A card reader includes a digital connector such as a Universal Serial Bus (USB) plug or an Apple® Lightning® plug. The digital connector includes a corresponding connector interface, which provides voltage to at least a card reader interface and an integrated circuit (IC) of the card reader. The card reader interface outputs an analog transaction information signal upon reading the card. The IC generates a digital version of the analog transaction information signal, encrypts the digital version, converts that into an analog audio signal. The audio signal can then be sent to the connector interface, which converts it into a digital signal such as a USB or Apple® Lightning® signal that is sent by the digital connector to a mobile device. Alternately, the audio signal can be sent to a microcontroller that converts the audio signal to a digital format such as USB, and then to the digital connector.
System and method for retrieving information from an information carrier by means of a capacitive touch screen
The present invention relates to a method comprising providing one or more information carrier(s) with a dielectric and/or conductive pattern and a detection device having a capacitive touch screen and inducing an interaction between the information carrier and the touch screen, wherein the interaction is based on a difference in the dielectric coefficient and/or the conductivity of the pattern and generates a touch signal and wherein the interaction is induced by relative motion between the information carrier and the touch screen. The invention further relates to a system comprising an information carrier comprising a dielectric and/or conductive pattern which encodes information and a detection device having a touch screen; the detection device is able to decode the information upon interaction between the information carrier and the touch screen, wherein the interaction is caused by a difference in the dielectric coefficient and/or the conductivity of the pattern.
