TAG READING APPARATUS AND TAG READING CONTROL METHOD
According to an embodiment, a tag reading apparatus acquires tag data of a wireless tag to be learned without transmission from the wireless tag to be learned. The tag reading apparatus extracts a data signal from a reception signal output from an antenna that has received a radio wave from the wireless tag to be learned. The tag reading apparatus learns the extracted data signal in association with correct answer data of the wireless tag to be learned.
Systems and Methods for Aligning Documents With Near Field Communication Devices
Systems and methods for aligning a mobile device and a document are disclosed. An exemplary method comprises the steps of determining a model identifier from the mobile device; associating the model identifier with a device configuration from a source; receiving an image of the document taken by the camera of the mobile device; identifying a document type; associating the document type with a document configuration from the source; selecting an alignment feedback schema based on the device configuration and the document configuration; generating alignment feedback based on the image processing; detecting for a data connection between the mobile device and the document; and generating a connection indication when the data connection is detected.
Chemically treated, RFID equipped mesh tire labels and methods of making and using the same for identification and tracking purposes during and post-tire manufacture
A chemically treated, RFID equipped mesh tire label configured to be integrally incorporated within a vulcanized tire and to provide unique identifier(s) and/or other information about the vulcanized tire during and post tire vulcanization, the label comprising: a mesh face layer configured to be adhered to an outer surface of an unvulcanized tire; a mesh backing layer attached to the mesh face layer and adapted to be integrally incorporated in a vulcanized tire after subjecting a green tire to a vulcanization process; and an RFID device affixed between the mesh face and mesh backing layers, the RFID device that is configured to provide unique identifier(s) and/or other information upon being read with an RFID reader during and post tire vulcanization.
MOISTURE SENSING USING RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION (RFID)
A passive UHF (Ultra High Frequency, 902-928 MHz) RFID-based fabric (such as a diaper) moisture sensor is low-cost, user-friendly, reusable, washable, environment-friendly and comes with an extended on-body read range of 3.6 meters with baby diapers and 4.4 meters with adult diapers. The external reader unit is connected to the internet or a local network, and may automatically notify the parents or caregivers as soon as the presence of moisture is detected.
KIT FOR FORMING A RADIO FREQUENCY SIGNAL ISOLATING CONTAINER
Some embodiments include a kit for forming a radio frequency container. The kit may include a top panel, a bottom panel having a raised support, at least one side panel configured to connect the top panel and the bottom panel, and an RF antenna configured for attachment to an interior surface of the container. The top panel, the bottom panel, and the at least one side panel may be configured to reflect and contain RF signals within the radio frequency container.
DATED OR UNDATED DIARY AND METHOD OF CONNECTING TO A DEDICATED WEB PAGE
A bound dated diary or a bound undated diary adapted to take notes is provided, which includes a passive RFID component, fixed directly or indirectly to the cover, which is configured to be interrogated by a NFC reading device, communicating to it a unique code that uniquely identifies the passive RFID component. A method of manufacturing a paper support with the passive RFID component hidden from view is also disclosed. The paper support can interact with a smartphone, or more generally with any device that can surf the net equipped with a NFC reading device, through a dedicated computer program that allows to implement a method of connecting to a web page uniquely associated with the paper support.
FILTERING SYSTEMS FOR RECYCLING RFID TAGS AND METHODS OF USING THEREOF
A recyclable RFID device having one or more recoverable components configured to remain substantially intact during a waste recycling process. The one or more recoverable components comprises a RFID coupling strap and a substrate encapsulating the RFID coupling strap. A filtering system for recovering the recyclable RFID device from a waste stream is also disclosed, and comprises a waste collection container, a RFID device detection unit, and a RFID device diversion area. Additionally, a filtering system for recovering the recyclable RFID device during a waste recycling process is disclosed. The filtering system enables separating the recyclable RFID device from a packaging and detecting the separated components of the recyclable RFID device including the one or more recoverable components. The separated components including the RFID chip is then diverted from the waste stream for reuse.
Wireless Identification Tags and Corresponding Readers
A wireless identification tag for embedding into an electrically conductive surface of a rotatable work tool, the tag comprising at least a first and a second inductive planar loop having corresponding first and second terminals, wherein the first inductive planar loop and the second inductive planar loop are arranged in relation to a common plane and wherein the first inductive planar loop and the second inductive planar loop are arranged to cover separate areas of the common plane, where each area on the common plane is associated with a respective polarity of the magnetic flux normal to said plane.
Tag device in wireless communication system, electronic device, communication method, and storage medium
A method for estimating channel parameters includes: sending a paging signal for identifying the tag device; sending training sequence information, receiving first training sequence feedback information during a non-working period of the tag device, receiving, during a working period of the tag device, second training sequence feedback information modulated by the tag device, and estimating the channel parameters of the tag device according to the training sequence feedback information and the second training sequence feedback information. The tag device having at least one antenna of the present disclosure can modulate carrier signals to transmit information, has advantages such as a fast transmission rate, a large amount of transmission data and a strong anti-interference capability, and can adapt to different application scenarios.
Systems and methods of combining RFID and VMS for people tracking and intrusion detection
A system of identifying and tracking occupants of a building is provided. The system includes multiple detector devices that each receive an identification signal from an identification device and multiple image capture devices that each output an image signal depicting a respective monitored location of the building. The system further includes a processing circuit that receives the identification signal from one of the detector devices, associates the detector device with a detector location, retrieves a user attribute, and receives the image signal from one of the image capture devices depicting a monitored location corresponding to the detector location. The processing circuit further generates an annotated video signal including the user attribute overlaid on the video signal, and displays the annotated video signal on a display device.
