LARGE-SCALE AUTOMATED IMAGE ANNOTATION SYSTEM
Systems and methods for automating image annotations are provided, such that a large-scale annotated image collection may be efficiently generated for use in machine learning applications. In some aspects, a mobile device may capture image frames, identifying items appearing in the image frames and detect objects in three-dimensional space across those image frames. Cropped images may be created as associated with each item, which may then be correlated to the detected objects. A unique identifier may then be captured that is associated with the detected object, and labels are automatically applied to the cropped images based on data associated with that unique identifier. In some contexts, images of products carried by a retailer may be captured, and item data may be associated with such images based on that retailer's item taxonomy, for later classification of other/future products.
Apparel to be Associated with a Digital Asset with Associated Methods
A method for associating a digital asset to apparel and said apparel to a user, where the apparel includes an embedded chip that is assigned a blockchain ID. The user utilizes a mobile device to create an account for linking the asset to the user and scans the apparel with the mobile device. During the scan by the mobile device the mobile device detects the presence of the embedded chip and further detects the chip ID. This chip ID is transmitted to a server, where the server validates the chip ID and transmits a confirmation of the authenticity of the chip ID to the mobile device. Upon receipt of the confirmation by the mobile device the apparel is determined to be authentic. Authenticated apparel can be logged to a user account.
Key return portal
Methods and apparatus for detecting the retention of a car key by a customer after return of a rental car are disclosed. A plurality of RFID tags having a common identifier are attached to the rental car keys. The shuttle bus or other facility exit is equipped with a detection portal configured to detect a RFID tag having the common identifier and provide a signal upon detection of the RFID tag to a monitor that provides an alert upon receipt of the signal.
Classic car restoration services systems and methods
The invention relates to classic car restoration services systems and methods, and, more particularly to classic car restoration services interfacing systems and methods allowing classic car facilities and enthusiasts to document, represent to prospective buyers, acquire classic cars and to facilitate their restorations.
Wireless tag reader
According to one or more embodiments, a wireless tag reader includes a first shield member, a second shield member, an antenna, and a reader. The first and second shield members face each other across a reading area through which a wireless tag can pass. Each of the first and second shield members has a reflective surface that reflects a radio wave incident thereon toward the reading area. The antenna is between the reading area and the reflective surface of one of the first and second shield members. The antenna radiates and receives radio waves to communicate with the wireless tag. The reader reads data stored in the wireless tag based on radio waves received from the wireless tag by the antenna.
DETECTING COMPONENT TEMPERATURE IN A SYSTEM
There is provided a method of detecting the temperature of a component of a support system for semiconductor processing equipment, the method comprising: applying a radio frequency identity tag to the component, the radio frequency identity tag having a serial number; reading the radio frequency identity tag with a reader, the reader arranged to read the serial number of the radio frequency identity tag, and to identify the resonant frequency of the radio frequency identity tag; and converting the resonant frequency of the radio frequency tag to a temperature of the radio frequency identity tag.
Verified driver system for a motor vehicle
A system and method for verifying a driver seated in a driver's seat of a vehicle is disclosed. The method includes scanning a license of the driver seated in the driver's seat of the vehicle to obtain a driver profile and detecting biometric information of the driver using one or more sensors in the vehicle. The driver profile includes biometric information. The method compares the detected biometric information with the biometric information of the driver profile to verify that the license of the driver seated in the vehicle matches the driver seated in the vehicle. The method may notify a provider computer system as to whether the license of the driver matches the driver seated in the vehicle. The method may adjust vehicle components based on preferences of the driver profile.
BAGGAGE HANDLING VERIFICATION DEVICE, SYSTEM AND METHOD
A baggage handling verification device (200) is for use with baggage (46) having RFID tags (48) attached. A user interface emits signals, an attachment element (22, 28, 222, 228) attaches the device to a user, an RFID antenna (232) and reader (234) obtain tag data representing first parameters for determining a baggage handling method. Data memory (242) stores second parameters for determining a baggage handling method. A CPU (238) compares the first and second parameters. The device emits different signals depending on whether a match exists between the parameters. Match-indicating signals indicate to handle a baggage item according to a predetermined method, while no-match indicating signals indicate not to handle the baggage item according to that method. The invention also covers a related system including the verification device and method of determining whether the baggage item must be handled according to predetermined baggage handling parameters.
COMMODITY READING DEVICE AND COMMODITY READING METHOD
According to one embodiment, a commodity reading device includes a hand-held scanner configured to read a code symbol on a commodity, a fixed scanner configured to read a code symbol on a commodity by capturing an image of the code symbol, and a processor. The processor is configured to detect the code symbol in the image captured by the fixed scanner, extract commodity information for identifying the commodity from the detected code symbol, and provide a notification to a user when a time between the detection of the code symbol and the extracting of the commodity information exceeds a preset threshold length of time, the notification indicating that the hand-held scanner is available to read the code symbol.
Unattended parcel delivery service
A method for parcel delivery service that permits secure and timely delivery of items to unattended vehicles. The method includes receiving an order to deliver an item to a vehicle. A current location of the vehicle may be determined using vehicle identification information. After the vehicle has been located, the item may be authenticated at the vehicle, and access to the interior of the vehicle may be automatically provided to enable the vehicle to securely receive the item. A corresponding system is also disclosed and claimed herein.
