Color-sensitive virtual markings of objects
Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media for making virtual colored markings on objects. Instructions may include receiving an indication of an object; receiving from an image sensor an image of a hand of an individual holding a physical marking implement; detecting in the image a color associated with the marking implement; receiving from the image sensor image data indicative of movement of a tip of the marking implement and locations of the tip; determining from the image data when the locations of the tip correspond to locations on the object; and generating, in the detected color, virtual markings on the object at the corresponding locations.
Focus module
A focus module for an optoelectronic sensor is provided that has a focus adjustable optics, a focus adjustment unit for varying a focal position of the optics, and a focus control to move the optics into a focal position corresponding to a distance value by means of the focus adjustment unit. The focus module here furthermore has a distance sensor for determining the distance value and the focus adjustment unit, the focus control, and the distance sensor are parts of the focus module.
Electronic notification apparatus
An electronic notification apparatus is disclosed. The electronic notification apparatus may include an image capture device which can scan a machine readable code on a physical object. A communication may thereafter be initiated to complete the transfer of the physical object to a user.
Receptacle for detecting delivery and retrieval events
A receptacle for detecting delivery and retrieval events has a door sensor, an item sensor, a scanner, and a control unit for operating the sensors, and transmitting the sensor information for processing and analysis. A system can determine whether an event was a delivery or retrieval event based on sensor information and item tracking information. A system can further include an item configured to interact with a computing device.
PORTABLE PRODUCTION MACHINE, MOBILE TERMINAL, PRODUCTION SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR CAPTURING DATA
The present disclosure relates to a portable production machine, a mobile terminal, a production system having a portable production machine and a mobile terminal, and a method for capturing data. According to aspects of the disclosure, on the production machine - which can be, for example, a welding machine or cutting machine - production data is automatically captured, organized into data sets, and converted into data set images, which are displayed on a display device. The displayed data set images are captured with a mobile terminal and transmitted to a central server. As a result, a plurality of production machines can be incorporated into a data system without the need for any changes to the hardware in the production machines.
Systems and Methods for Enhancing Trainable Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Performance
Systems and methods for enhancing trainable optical character recognition (OCR) performance are disclosed herein. An example method includes receiving, at an application executing on a user computing device communicatively coupled to a machine vision camera, an image captured by the machine vision camera, the image including an indicia encoding a payload and a character string. The example method also includes identifying the indicia and the character string; decoding the indicia to determine the payload; and applying an optical character recognition (OCR) algorithm to the image to interpret the character string and identify an unrecognized character within the character string. The example method also includes comparing the payload to the character string to validate the unrecognized character as corresponding to a known character included within the payload; and responsive to validating the unrecognized character, adding the unrecognized character to a font library referenced by the OCR algorithm.
VEHICLE ACCESS AND FLEET MANAGEMENT CONTROL VIA BLUETOOTH BEACONS
A Bluetooth plus radio frequency identification (RFID) beacon for use vehicle fleet management and geofencing system, wherein the beacon comprises a housing, and a circuit board disposed within the housing. The circuit board comprises a Bluetooth communication circuitry portion containing a unique media access control (MAC) address, and an RFID circuitry portion integrated with the Bluetooth communication circuitry portion such that the RFID circuitry portion is associated with the Bluetooth circuitry MAC address whereby the Bluetooth beacon can be identified, via the MAC address, by an RFID reader communicating with the RFID circuitry portion using the MAC address of the Bluetooth communication circuitry portion.
Operations system for combining independent product monitoring systems to automatically manage product inventory and product pricing and automate store processes
In some implementations, a device may receive data identifying products and encoded data identifying smart tags of the products. The device may map the data and the encoded data to generate encoded product data. The device may receive encoded data provided by smart tags of products received by a store. The device may receive images of the products. The device may compare the encoded data and the encoded product data to identify a set of the products received by the store. The device may correlate the images with the set of the products. The device may process the correlated data to identify locations of the set of the products in the store. The device may generate an instruction to relocate a product to a new location and may provide the instruction to a device, associated with the store, to cause the product to be relocated to the new location.
Identification of lighting fixtures for indoor positioning using color band code
Image data of a light source comprising a surface is obtained using an optical sensor. The surface includes a color band code comprising an array of color regions at least partially modifying visible light of the light source prior to the light impinging the optical sensor. One or more characteristics of the color band code are determined based on the image data that is obtained. Determining a unique identity of the light source based on the determined one or more characteristics of the color band code is performed, or determining a location within a structure associated with the light source based on the determined one or more characteristics of the color band code is performed.
Method for provisioning a container with food
Method for providing a container with food, the method comprising: providing a container for infant formula food, adding the food, sealing the container with a gas-tight membrane seal, adding an inner scannable code on the gas-tight membrane seal, closing the container with a tamper-proof closure means, so that the inner scannable code is not scannable without breaking a part of the tamper-proof closure means, and storing the inner scannable code in a database.
