A game token tray system includes a game token tray having a dual tray structure in which a game token is stored. The game token tray system includes a double tray including a lower tray and an upper tray stacked on the lower tray to store a game token provided with an RF tag in which tag information is stored, a camera that acquires tray image data by imaging the game token stored in the upper tray, an RIFD reading device that reads the tag information from the RF tag of the game token stored in the lower tray, and a game recording device that records the tray image data and/or an image analysis result of the tray image data about the game token stored in the upper tray and records the tag information read by the RFID reading device about the game token stored in the upper tray.

Method of clustering transportation units, transportation unit and computer program

The disclosure relates to a method for clustering transportation units in a distribution chain. The method makes use of the situation where many transportation units, such as IoT devices, are loaded in a confined space in which the transportation units have different or limited connectivity capabilities depending on radio environment and possibly also on device hardware capabilities. The method comprising respective transportation unit; sharing its identity; receiving and storing the identity of at least one other transportation unit; transmitting its identity and the stored identity of the at least one other transportation unit to an external processing unit; and clustering, at the external processing unit, the transportation units based on the transmitted identities. The disclosure also relates to a transportation unit and to computer program products.

PRINTING DEVICE INCLUDING CASSETTE MOUNTING PORTION IN WHICH A PLURALITY OF TYPES OF CASSETTES IS CONFIGURED TO BE SELECTIVELY MOUNTED
20210129562 · 2021-05-06 ·

A printing device includes: an RFID reader including a reader antenna; a cassette mounting portion in which a plurality of types of cassettes can be selectively mounted; a memory storing correlations between the types of cassettes and standard ranges concerning a return energy; and a controller. Each cassette includes an RFID tag storing cassette information related to the cassette. The RFID tag includes a tag antenna configured to communicate with the reader antenna. Communication sensitivity between the reader antenna and the tag antenna when the cassette is mounted in the cassette mounting portion is different for each type of cassette. The controller performs: communicating via the RFID reader with the RFID tag of the cassette mounted in the cassette mounting portion; and determining whether a value of the return energy received by the RFID reader in the communicating falls within any one of the standard ranges indicated by the correlations.

WIRELESS TAG SYSTEM, PRODUCT MANAGEMENT DEVICE, AND PRODUCT MANAGEMENT METHOD

A wireless tag system includes: a tag signal antenna configured to receive a tag signal transmitted from a wireless transmission tag; and a communication area shaping antenna configured to transmit a reception area shaping signal for narrowing an area in which the tag signal antenna can communicate with the wireless transmission tag, wherein the tag signal antenna and the communication area shaping antenna are arranged for each prescribed product unit in a group of products that are arranged.

Lockset with integrated wireless signals analysis feature and method
10930097 · 2021-02-23 · ·

A wireless lockset with integrated wireless signals analysis and method is described herein. The analysis integrated into the wireless lockset allows remote monitoring of a building or dwelling. A user can track and be notified of the state of occupancy of a dwelling based upon when specific un-associated devices that are within range of the lockset.

Access control electronics for wireless locks

Access control electronics for wireless locks comprise one or more battery operated radios that receive access control codes. The wireless accessed locks locate the electronic components, circuits, sensors and antennas and many of the lock components away from the container being secured and closer to the operator/user. The disclosed access control electronics combine a proximity detection circuit comprising sensor pads and a capacitive sensing circuit and one or more short-range radio frequency antennas for reading RFID devices. The proximity sensor pads are in close proximity with the antennas, without the antennas interfering with the proximity sensing process, and the sensor pads to not attenuate the signals between the RFID devices and the antennas after the RFID devices are detected.

Method of Optimizing Read Technology for High Density Items
20210049334 · 2021-02-18 ·

A method of optimizing a RFID reader system to increase the percentage of RFID tags successfully inventoried in a container comprising a relatively large number of RFID tagged items in close proximity to one another. To achieve the greater percentage of successfully inventoried RFID tagged items, a transmitting system capable of reading an RFID tag and a receiving system capable of determining how much of the transmitted power propagates through the volume of RFID tagged items is positioned on either side of the container. A host system in communication with both the transmitting and receiving systems then utilizes one or more parameters of the transmitting system to maximize propagation of the RFID signal through the container and, therefore, increase the percentage of RFID tags successfully inventoried with the ultimate goal being 100%.

GAME TABLE READING SYSTEM
20210090379 · 2021-03-25 ·

The game table reading system comprises reading antennas for each of a plurality of reading areas of a game table, read-restriction antennas for each of the plurality of the reading areas, the read-restriction antennas restricting the RFID tag embedded in a game token placed in the corresponding reading area from being read by the reading antenna corresponding to the other adjacent reading areas, a reading control device that controls the reading antennas, and a read-restriction control device that controls the read-restriction antennas. The read-restriction control device causes the read-restriction antennas corresponding to the reading areas adjacent to the reading areas corresponding to the reading antenna that the reading control device causes to read, in synchronization with the reading control device.

LIVESTOCK AND FEEDLOT DATA COLLECTION AND PROCESSING USING UHF-BAND INTERROGATION OF RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION TAGS FOR FEEDLOT ARRIVAL AND RISK ASSESSMENT

An agricultural data collection framework is provided in a system and method for tracking and managing livestock, and for analyzing animal conditions such as health, growth, nutrition, and behavior.
