Christmas tree stand
Many forms of Christmas tree stand, for use with real (i.e. cut) Christmas trees are known, such as those that may be filled with water to prolong the life of the tree. The present invention relates to a Christmas tree stand, and a method of maintaining a Christmas tree in a substantially upright position, and includes a reservoir 3 with retaining parts 9 at upper and lower ends thereof, and an outer container into which the reservoir is configured to be securable, the container configured to substantially conceal the reservoir and having a base larger than the reservoir. This prevents damage to floor surfaces (such as carpets and tiles) and prevents accidental contact by passers-by with difficult-to-see legs and/or arms.
CHRISTMAS TREE STAND
A tree stand for removably supporting a tree includes a base having a water basin. A plurality of spaced apart jaws are biased upwardly and inwardly of an axis of the base to form an expandable clamp. An end of a trunk of the tree forcibly expands the jaws against their bias as the trunk is inserted into the water basin. The jaws of the clamp engage an outer surface of the trunk as they are biased towards their closed position to hold the tree vertically upright and stable.
Stand with inserts
A system for mounting decorative objects, such as Christmas trees, is disclosed. The system can include a base and a plurality of inserts. The base can comprise a plurality of feet that have a retracted position for ready storage and a deployed position for supporting a tree. The base can further comprise a locking mechanism for locking the feet in the retracted position, the deployed position, or both. The base can further comprise an adapter for receiving one or more inserts. The inserts can comprise a consistent outer diameter, for insertion into the adapter, and a variety of inner diameters for use with a variety of tree diameters. The insert can be installed on the trunk of a tree and then installed into the adapter on the base simplifying the tree erection process.
Stand for elongated objects
A stand for Christmas trees and other elongated objects includes spring biased, movable arm assemblies, with each arm assembly including a base arm and a gripping arm pivotally secured to the base arm. The gripping arm includes upper and lower elongated object engaging surfaces. When a Christmas tree or other elongated objects is pressed to downward between the arm assemblies, the elongated object contacts the lower object engaging surfaces, bringing the upper object engaging surfaces into contact with the elongated object. Spring pressure supplied by springs within the arm assemblies retains the elongated object within the stand.
Christmas tree stand with float system, low water indicator, and independent spring compression system
The present invention generally relates to a live plant or tree, such as, a Christmas tree that is being held in water, inside a stand, and also has a low water indicator. The present invention also provides a Christmas tree stand that has a low water indicator, and has an independent spring compression system that is self-adjusting and serves to position the tree securely and up-right. The low water indicator system is a float device that will rise and fall with the water level, mainly including a float, plunger, activation wire, power source, and buzzer that is built or attached to the tree stand. As the water level drops the float-plunger system activates an electrical connection and causes an alarm to be activated. Upon the activation of the alarm the tree stand will require water, and once water is added, the alarm will automatically deactivate.
Stand for elongated objects
A stand for Christmas trees and other elongated objects includes at least one fixed arm and a spring biased, movable arm assembly, each of which may include a plurality of rollers. When a Christmas tree or other elongated objects is pressed to downward between the fixed arm and movable arm assembly, spring pressure supplied by the movable arm assembly retains the elongated object within the stand. A release lever pulls the movable arm assembly away from the elongated object, facilitating removal of the object from the stand.
CLAMPING BASE AND CHRISTMAS TREE
A clamping base includes a housing, a supporting body disposed in the housing, and clamping members and a locking member that are mounted on the supporting body. A placement groove configured to accommodate a placed object is provided in the supporting body, a plurality of sliding grooves are obliquely provided on an inner wall of the placement groove, the sliding grooves extend toward a center of the placement groove from top to bottom, the clamping members are circumferentially disposed in the placement groove, and sliders capable of sliding along the sliding grooves are disposed on the clamping members; the locking member is connected to an upper part of the supporting body; a ring-shaped pressing ring is disposed on a top of the locking member; and an elastic member capable of pushing the clamping member to return is further disposed between the clamping member and the supporting body.
SUPPORT BASE
A support base comprises a stand assembly and clamping assemblies, wherein the stand assembly comprises a base and at least three fixing rods uniformly fixed to the base; the clamping assemblies are located on an inner side of the stand assembly and hinged to the fixing rods; each clamping assembly comprises a clamping block rotatably connected to the corresponding fixing rod and an elastic element located between the clamping block and the stand assembly and fixedly connected to the clamping block and the stand assembly. The support base can satisfy the installation requirements of Christmas trees with different diameters and can realize convenient and quick installation without a long time and much effort; the support base is not only suitable for Christmas trees, but also suitable for various articles with a rod-like bottom similar to the Christmas trees such as sunshades.
