Optimal dispatching method and system for wind power generation and energy storage combined system
An optimal dispatching method and system for a wind power generation and energy storage combined system are provided. Uncertainty of a wind turbine output is characterized based on spatio-temporal coupling of the wind turbine output and an interval uncertainty set. Compared with a traditional symmetric interval uncertainty set, the uncertainty set that considers spatio-temporal effects effectively excludes some extreme scenarios with a very small probability of occurrence and reduces conservativeness of a model. A two-stage robust optimal dispatching model for the wind power generation and energy storage combined system is constructed, and a linearization technology and a nested column-and-constraint generation (C&CG) strategy are used to efficiently solve the model.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL LOOP
System and techniques for an environmental control loop are described herein. A device for an environmental control loop can include a memory including instructions and processing circuitry that when in operation, can be configured by the instructions to receive environmental sensor data from a first component in a set of heterogeneous components installed in an environment with a controller. The environmental sensor data can indicate a service level value sensed by the first component. The controller can also measure a violation of a service level objective based on comparing the environmental sensor data to a threshold. The controller can also transmit an adjustment to an operating parameter of a second component of the set of heterogeneous components. The adjustment can be operative to attenuate the violation of the service level objective when implemented by the second component.
Oilfield water management
A method for managing oilfield water. Oilfield water data is grouped into discrete and non-overlapping groups. Outliers are removed from the data. Features of the remaining data are analyzed to identify most discriminative feature. The data is separated into training data and testing data, and the training data is fit into a model that shows the best precision, accuracy and recall. The model is confirmed using the testing data. Upon confirmation of the accuracy of the model, the model is applied to data for a new proposed oilfield well, and a new proposed project is implemented or disapproved based on a result of the identified model that predicts water production of the new proposed oilfield well.
Systems and methods for live and replay utilization and tracking of vehicular movement and response
Systems and methods for live utilization and tracking of vehicular movement producing a fluid representation of the movement of vehicles and means to evaluate vehicle movement/activities relative to response requirements may be provided. Accordingly, real-time evaluations and/or corrections may be made based on this improved tracking of movement/activities. Replay analysis of movement/activities that have already occurred may be provided to evaluate and make adjustments for future responses and activities. Colors and other unique display items may be used to highlight different activities, movements and/or timing for completion within an online mapping application. Layering of different mapping displays also may be provided.
SPACE UTILIZATION PATTERNS FOR BUILDING OPTIMIZATION
Occupancy data over time is received for each of several spaces within a building from occupancy sensors that are disposed within each of the spaces. An occupancy value is determined for each of at least some of the several spaces based on the received occupancy data, each occupancy value representative of a percent of time that the respective space was occupied over an identified period of time. The space that had a highest occupancy value over the identified period of time is identified. A utilization value is determined for each of the spaces, wherein the utilization value is representative of a ratio of the occupancy value of the respective space and the highest occupancy value. An operation of the building is changed based at least in part on the utilization value of at least one of the plurality of spaces.
INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, PROGRAM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS
Provided is an information processing method performed by an information processing apparatus, the information processing method including: acquiring contract information on a contract related to a disaster prevention project to develop an infrastructure, the contract being an outcome-based contract in which payment is made on a basis of a disaster reduction outcome through the infrastructure (S102); acquiring fund data related to a fund set on a basis of the contract information (S110); and associating the fund data with discrimination information on the disaster prevention project (S116).

System and Method for Analysis and Visualization of Incident Data
A system for analyzing a plurality of grouped incidents belonging to a group, the system having a database storing the plurality of grouped incidents and a GUI configured to receive from the database the plurality of group incidents and to display the plurality of group incidents. The GUI has a group interface that is configured to display one of a grouped incidents panel, a group visualization panel, or combinations thereof. The group has the plurality of grouped incidents, a plurality of grouped sources, and a group incident tag.
System and method for matching specialists and potential clients
Potential client/small business data and specialist profile data for multiple, and in various embodiments, hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, millions, tens of millions, or even hundreds of millions or more, potential clients/small businesses and specialists are used to train one or more matching models in an offline training environment using machine learning techniques. Once the one or more matching models are trained, the one or more matching models are used in an execution environment to process a given user's data and available specialist data to identify one or more available specialists determined to be a good match for the user. The user is then provided specialist recommendation data listing the matched available specialists and, in some cases, the user is provided one or more communication mechanisms for connecting with matched available specialists selected by the user.
Systems and methods for automatic scheduling of a workforce
Systems and methods are disclosed for scheduling a workforce. In one embodiment, the method comprises receiving a shift activity template; receiving an association between the shift activity template and at least one worker; and scheduling a plurality of schedulable objects. The scheduling is performed in accordance with a workload forecast and schedule constraints. Each of the schedulable objects is based on the shift activity template. The shift activity template describes a worker activity performed during a shift. The template has range of start times and a variable length for the activity. The activity is associated with a queue.
