SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR VEHICLE INVENTORY CONTROL
Vehicle inventory control. At least one example is a computer-implemented method of vehicle inventory control, the method comprising: receiving parameters indicating a geo-fence to be established at a predetermined time; establishing the geo-fence at the predetermined time; disabling a resident vehicle identified on a predetermined list of vehicles, the resident vehicle within the geo-fence at the predetermined time; and refraining from disabling a non-resident vehicle identified on the predetermined list of vehicles that is outside the geo-fence at the predetermined time.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ACCELERATED SETUP OF E-SHOP WEBSITES
A system and method for creating and using enabled products sets (EPSs) includes an e-shop developer system in communication with a website building system (WBS), the e-shop developer system to create, modify and update at least one EPS for display in at least one e-shop of a website of the WBS, the at least one EPS to provide continuously updated fulfillment and backend information for its products. The e-shop developer includes an EPS generator tool to provide manual creation and editing services and automatic creation and updating of the at least one EPS, an e-shop builder to receive a user selected at least one EPS and to match the at least one user selected EPS to at least one template for display within the at least one e-shop and an evaluation and integration engine to provide recommendations for the EPS generator tool and the e-shop builder.
SYSTEM FOR MANAGING PRODUCT STOCKS WHICH IS SUITABLE FOR HOUSEHOLD USE
The system (1) comprises a plurality of products stored in dedicated product containers (RC), a computer server (S RC) hosting a product stock management software module (GSP, GS) and connected to an extended data communication network (IP), a weighing device (BC) interconnected with the computer server (S-RC) through a wireless data communication link (RWF, L5) and through the extended data communication network, and a user computer device (UD) connected to the computer server and hosting a software application (APPLI), the product containers each comprising an identification tag storing an identification number, and the weighing device comprising an identification reader module. According to the invention, the reader module is a radio-identification reader module and the tag is a radio-identification tag having a location distance from a placement surface of the container which is at most equal to a radio detection height of the reader module from a weighing surface (SP) of the weighing device, and the weighing device comprises an accelerometer and means arranged so as ensure that the weighing device is put on standby, or woken up, on the basis of movement information supplied by the accelerometer.
METHOD AND A SYSTEM FOR CUSTOMER DEMAND DRIVEN SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNING
The invention relates to a computer-implemented MRP method for controlling materials in a supply chain (SC) with customer segments (CS1, CS2). The invention is advantageous in that there is calculated a safety stock curve (SSC) in a time-phased manner (m, n) to cover an uncertainty until a demand is fulfilled based on customer data (CD) and material data (MD). The time until demand is fulfilled is a demand fulfilment time (DFT), the safety stock curve (SSC) being calculated as a function of this demand fulfilment time (DFT) in order to meet specified target service level (TSL1, TSL2) and simultaneously minimize inventory levels in said plurality of distribution centres (M_DC, DC2). The invention provides advances in MRP with respect to an optimum with demand compliance to required service levels while not unnecessarily increasing safety stock levels. Simulations convincingly demonstrate the effects of the invention.
METHOD AND SYSTEM TO DETERMINE AN ORIGINATING TRACEABILITY APPLICATION FOR A PRODUCT ITEM USING A SERIALIZED CODE
A method for routing unique identifier requests to an appropriate traceability application includes handling requests in a director. The method includes receiving a request from a client in the network, wherein the request includes a unique identifier; forwarding the identifier to a first traceability application from a list of potential traceability applications; receiving a response from the first server; and if the first server cannot confirm it can process the request, repeat querying a subsequent traceability application from the list, until an originating traceability application is found that can process said request.
MACHINE LEARNING MODEL TRAINED TO PREDICT CONVERSIONS FOR DETERMINING LOST CONVERSIONS CAUSED BY RESTRICTIONS IN AVAILABLE FULFILLMENT WINDOWS OR FULFILLMENT COST
An online concierge system trains a machine learning conversion model that predicts a probability of receiving an order from a user when the user accesses the online concierge system. The conversion model predicts the probability of receiving the order based on a set of input features that include price and availability information. For each access to the online concierge system, the online concierge system applies the conversion model to a current price and availability and to an optimal price availability. The online concierge system generates a metric as the difference between the two predicted probabilities of receiving an order.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ORGANNIZATION DURING MOVING AND STORAGE
A storage system may comprise a common characteristic label comprising a first scannable code correlated to a first catalogue information and at least one origin or destination label having a second scannable code correlated to a second catalogue information. The storage system may comprise a smart device having a processor, a memory, and a transceiver, and may receive an input from a camera. The smart device may receive scans of the first scannable code and of the second scannable code, and receive the first catalogue information and the second catalogue information, respectively. The processor may associate the second catalogue information with the first catalogue information. The processor may access origin or destination data associated with the first catalogue information and/or second catalogue information. The smart device may receive images of stored items. The memory may store images and the processor may associate the images with the first catalogue information.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PURCHASING FULFILLMENT VIA A VIRTUAL ASSISTANT
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method including identifying an upcoming event associated with a first member of a group, where the upcoming event is associated with an interest, by a second member of the group, in a purchase of a product associated with the first member of the group, generating a set of weighted characteristics associated with the product according to a first ranking of characteristics associated with the product and the first member and a second ranking of the characteristics associated with the product and the second member, applying the set of weighted characteristics to product offerings for fulfilling the request to purchase the product to generate a plurality of matrix scores associated with the product offerings, determining a ranked list of the product offerings for the fulfilling the request to purchase the product according to the plurality of matrix scores, negotiating, with a retail virtual assistant, a purchase arrangement associated with a first product offering, and executing an automatic purchase of the first product offering according to the purchase arrangement. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Automatically recommending community sourcing events based on observations
A computer-implemented method for improving efficiency in an electronic procurement system for sourcing resources, comprising, during digital electronic interactions of a buyer computer with one or more software platforms and without receiving explicit request for recommendations from the buyer computer: automatically generating, at a coding computer, implicit observation data of the buyer computer; automatically determining, at the coding computer, one or more active sourcing events from a plurality of sourcing events, based on at least the implicit observation data of the buyer computer; using the coding computer, causing to display at least one of the one or more active sourcing events in a graphical user interface.
