Privacy-preserving labeling and classification of email

Emails or other communications are labeled with a category label such as “spam” or “good” without using confidential or Personally Identifiable Information (PII). The category label is based on features of the emails such as metadata that do not contain PII. Graphs of inferred relationships between email features and category labels are used to assign labels to emails and to features of the emails. The labeled emails are used as a training dataset for training a machine learning model (“MLM”). The MLM model identifies unwanted emails such as spam, bulk email, phishing email, and emails that contain malware.

A company may authorize a 3.sup.rd party to send emails on behalf of the company's domain. The emails are sent by the 3.sup.rd party, but the “From” portion of the email header is populated with the company's email address/domain. Methods are disclosed that, in some embodiments, enable email authentication (e.g. SPF record checks and/or DKIM verification) for emails sent by the 3.sup.rd party on behalf of a company's domain. In some embodiments, a trusted entity is enlisted to communicate with the 3.sup.rd party and the company. The trusted entity has the proper permissions to request changes in the DNS records of the company. The trusted entity receives the request from the 3.sup.rd party to add email authentication information to the DNS record. The trusted entity confirms that the 3.sup.rd party is authorized by the company and then adds the information to the DNS record.

Using conversation structure and content to answer questions in multi-part online interactions

A computer-implemented method for determining an answer to a question in a multi-party conversation includes receiving a multi-party conversation having multiple nodes of unstructured natural language. Each node is parsed into a plurality of elements. Each element of the plurality of elements that comprises a question is identified. A conversation node list is constructed that identifies relationships between the nodes. At least one answer to the question is produced based on the conversation node list.

Artificial intelligence payment timing models

Disclosed in some examples, are methods, systems, and machine-readable mediums which build and utilize an artificial intelligence model to predict debtor payment timing. The past debtor payment history and other debtor information may be for a plurality of accounts over a past time period. Once the model is created, it may be used when a debtor misses a payment to determine a prediction of when the debtor will pay. The model uses characteristics of past debtors and their payment dates to predict, based upon the characteristics of the late debtor, when the late debtor will make a payment. The predicted timing may include a predicted probability for whether the payment will be made within the predicted timing. The predicted timing may be a specific date, or a window (e.g., a three-day window).
