SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MOBILE PAYMENTS
A system and method for making payments using an application installed on a mobile device, which has access to at least one source of funds. Said application interacts with a Point of Sale (POS) terminal through an application server. The user “checks-in” from the mobile application into said application server and the POS terminal sends a verification request to said application server, where the user confirms payment for a purchase. An Electronic Funds Transfer processing and switching system requests authorization from an issuer for completing said payment and provides confirmation of the transaction being authorized to the application server. The application server then notifies the mobile application and the POS terminal that the transaction has been completed in order to update the transaction records. A receipt of the transaction details may be printed or sent by email to the user.
Information processing apparatus, information processing method, non-transitory computer readable medium storing program, electronic receipt system, and terminal device
An information processing system includes hardware, including a processor and a memory, an information processing apparatus and a terminal device. The information processing apparatus includes a receiving unit, a storing unit and a controlling unit. The receiving unit is implemented at least by the hardware and that receives, from a store terminal, information on merchandise purchased by a customer. The storing unit is implemented at least by the hardware and that stores at least one of a weight and a volume of the merchandise associated with the customer. The controlling unit is implemented at least by the hardware and that causes information including at least one of the weight and the volume of the merchandise purchased by the customer to be output as output information in response to a request from the external device. The terminal device requests the output information.
METHOD FOR MANAGEMENT OF VALUE DATA STORED BY OR ON BEHALF OF A USER
A method is provided for acquisition and management of value codes available to a client including (a) capturing to a network-capable computing device one or more value codes directed to a client through consumer activity, (b) acquiring over the network the value codes captured in (a), (c) isolating the value codes acquired in (b) and storing the value codes on behalf of the client, (d) monitoring the location of, consumer activity of, and data generated by the client comparing results against client value data content matching content relevancy, (e) upon determination of content relevancy, selecting value codes and generating a notification for the client identifying the value codes available to the client for use, and (f) sending the notification to the client over the network, the notification containing the value codes, or at least providing immediate access to the value codes selected for consideration by the client.
METHOD FOR TRANSFER AND AGGREGATION OF ELECTRONIC RECEIPTS
A method for capturing and aggregating transactional receipts conducted at a point of sale terminal connected to a network includes (a) using a transaction device, submitting digital payment account data to the POS terminal, (b) reading the submitted data at the
POS terminal and authorizing the payment data for the transaction,(c) upon approval notification, generating at the POS terminal a QR code that includes the itemized receipt data, (d) publishing the QR code generated in (c) to a digital screen on the POS terminal or to a printed paper medium, (e) capturing the QR code in POS display or printed in (d) with a mobile device equipped to scan QR codes, and (f) storing for transfer over the network, the QR code or a human-readable version thereof for archival and access.
RECEIPT AGGREGATION MODEL
A working network data aggregation model includes a first server managing email and a second server managing payment accounts wherein the data in the form of electronic transaction receipts is sent to email addresses and forwarded to a central server for processing including data mining and archiving and wherein the central server notifies users when receipts are accessible for view, download, or amendment.
Barcode transferring receipt data to a computing device of a customer
A method is disclosed for transferring receipt data to a computing device corresponding to a customer. The method may include initiating a transaction at a point-of-sale system. During the transaction, a computer system comprising the point-of-sale system, may collect receipt data documenting the transaction. The computer system may generate a barcode unique to the transaction and comprising encoded data. Once the transaction has been completed, the computer system may present the barcode to the customer. This may be done via a printed receipt, a customer-facing display, or the like. Using the encoded data, the computer system may deliver the receipt data to a computing device in the possession of the customer. For example, the encoded data may comprise the receipt data. Alternatively, the encoded data may comprise a URL directing the computing device to a resource system from which the receipt data may be downloaded.
Data processing methods, apparatuses, and terminal devices
A computer-implemented method includes providing, by one or more processing devices, a service code management interface; receiving, by the one or more processing devices, a specified quantity that is input by a user in the service code management interface; generating, by the one or more processing devices, the specified quantity of service codes, wherein the specified quantity of service codes comprise the same user identification information; and displaying, by the one or more processing devices, the specified quantity of service codes.
PROCESSING OF A USER DEVICE GAME-PLAYING TRANSACTION BASED ON LOCATION
An exemplary method comprises receiving information associated with a game-playing transaction conducted between a user device and a game-playing terminal, wherein the game-playing transaction is associated with a request for playing a game; determining a location of the user device associated with the game; determining the user device is located in an approved location associated with the game; and processing the game-playing transaction based on determining the user device is located in the approved location associated with the game. The game-playing transaction is conducted on a first communication interface, and the information associated with the game-playing transaction is received on a first or second communication interface.
SYSTEM-BASED DETECTION OF CARD SHARING AND FRAUD
This disclosure describes, in part, a payment service that associates customer profiles with an identifier of a payment instrument, and then uses the customer profiles to identify a customer that is using the payment instrument during a transaction with a merchant. For instance, in some examples, the payment service can identify preferences of customers using transaction information that includes an identifier for a payment instrument, and associate the preferences with respective customer profiles. The payment service can then receive transaction information associated with a transaction between a customer and a merchant, identify preferences of the customer using the transaction information, compare the preferences of the customer with preferences stored in the customer profiles, and identify the customer based on the comparing. The payment service can further generate a receipt for the transaction and send the receipt to contact information of the customer.
CLOUD-BASED GENERATION OF RECEIPTS USING TRANSACTION INFORMATION
This disclosure describes, in part, cloud-based generation of receipts using transaction information. In some examples, a payment service can send receipt templates to a point-of-sale (POS) device of a merchant, receive an indication of a selected receipt template from the POS device, and associated the selected receipt template in a merchant profile of the merchant The payment system can then receive transaction information from the POS device of the merchant, generate a receipt for the transaction using the selected receipt template associated with the merchant profile, and send data representing the receipt to the POS device. In some examples, the receipt template defines a layout of the receipt, text to include in the receipt, and one or more graphics to include in the receipt.
