DIGITAL GIFTING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A digital gifting system and method utilizing a mobile device with a gifting application is disclosed. The mobile device is configured to receive from a gift sender a gift comprising an identifier of the gift sender, a custom content, and a gift amount, wherein the gift is only spendable if a phone number of the mobile device corresponds to a predetermined phone number associated with the gift; receiving a first selection from a user of the mobile device to accept the gift amount; displaying the identifier of the gift sender and the custom content; transmitting a first notification to the gift sender that the gift has been received by the user and the custom content has been displayed to the user; and after the gift amount has been spent by the user, transmitting a second notification to the gift sender indicating how the gift amount was spent by the user.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RECEIVING DATA AT A MERCHANT DEVICE FROM A USER DEVICE OVER A WIRELESS LINK
A system and method for providing payments is disclosed. A method can include establishing a wireless link between a mobile device and a merchant device. After an instruction is displayed on the mobile device, a combination of a first type of input and a second type of input are received on the mobile device, first type of input including at least one button press of a physical button and the second type of input received from a user to confirm a payment for the purchase. Based on the inputs, payment data is retrieved from a memory of the mobile device. The method includes receiving the payment data at the merchant device to make the purchase, wherein receiving the payment data, via the wireless link, at the merchant device to make the purchase is performed according to a protocol for communicating the payment data to the merchant device.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING SECURE DATA COMMUNICATION BETWEEN TWO OR MORE USER TERMINALS IN A COMMUNICATION NETWORK
A method and system for providing secure data communication between two or more user terminals in a communication network is proposed. The method may include receiving, from a first user terminal, a first instruction set configured to request that a private account be converted into a group account, the private account owned by a user of the first user terminal. The method may also include generating the group account jointly owned by at least the user of the first user terminal and a user of a second user terminal. The method may also include controlling a first database to store a second information set relating to the group account, and generating a second virtual database different from the first database. The method may also include copying the second information set stored in the first database and recording the copied second information set in the second virtual database.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FRAUD DETECTION USING MACHINE LEARNING TECHNOLOGY
A computer-implemented method includes, receiving, with at least one processor, payment transaction data, extracting, using the at least one processor, catastrophic event data from a network, generating, with the at least one processor, a catastrophic event score based on the payment transaction data and the catastrophic event data, and adjusting financial fraud rules used to decline or approve financial transactions. The financial fraud rules may be adjusted by adding a catastrophic event threshold to the financial fraud rules that utilize the catastrophic event score to determine whether a financial transaction is fraudulent.
REAL-TIME AUGMENTED REALITY EVENT-BASED SERVICE
A real-time cloud-based Augmented Reality (AR) service is provided for events. The service visually and audibly integrates remote participants into event-based locations and event-based devices during an event via participant-operated devices. The service further permits remote ordering of items and/or services by the participants. The items and/or services are actual items and/or services which are being offered at an event venue for the event to in-person event participants. Further, the service renders images of any ordered items/services on AR generated objects of the participant-operated devices. Moreover, the service places the orders with the appropriate vendors and schedules delivery of the ordered items/services to coincide with participant-defined times before, during, and/or after the event.
COMPUTER-BASED SYSTEMS CONFIGURED TO PROVIDE A PORTAL FOR MIGRATING ONE OR MORE EXISTING RELATIONSHIPS FROM ONE ENTITY TO ANOTHER ENTITY AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
Systems and methods associated with providing an automated portal to migrate one or more relationships with one entity to another entity are disclosed. In one embodiment, an exemplary method may comprise: providing a portal enabling automated migration of existing relationships from existing entities to a first entity; generating a first UI configured for identifying and providing access information regarding existing relationships for potential migration; generating a second UI to display information regarding the existing relationships and provide UI elements enabling the user to receive migration offers; determining terms of replacement relationships that the first entity can offer the user; generating a third UI to (i) compare terms between the existing and new relationships, and (ii) enable the user to authorize the relationship migration; performing an automated generation process to create the new relationship(s); and performing an automated transfer process to transfer all objects to the new relationship.
Rights transfers using block chain transactions
Systems and methods for managing media, such as digital content, using block chain technology are described. In some embodiments, the systems and methods perform multiple digital currency transfers between address nodes to register a collection of rights to a digital content item to a block chain, and perform a digital currency transfer transaction between address nodes to register the collection of rights to the block chain.
Real-time usage detection of software applications
A system and method that allows for information relating to data and communication resource usage to be gathered and analyzed such that particular data transactions and usage of network accessible software applications can be classified based on purpose and/or type. Further, the system and method provide reporting based on amount of usage and/or purpose or type of usage so that associated costs and usage can be calculated applied and allocated to particular accounts, divisions, groups or individuals within and outside of a company or entity. Further, the system may disable features of or access to network accessible software applications based on lack or use, limited use or other metrics that fall outside of threshold ranges or values.
Systems and methods for identifying and correlating an advertised object from a media asset with a demanded object from a group of interconnected computing devices embedded in a living environment of a user
Systems and methods for identifying and correlating an advertised object with a plurality of interconnected computing devices embedded in a living environment of the user. For example, a media guidance application implemented at a set-top box with a television may receive a signal from a printer indicating that cartridge ink is low. When the user is watching a television show and an advertisement relating to printer cartridges is being played, the media guidance application may identify that the advertised printer cartridges may be something that the user needs, and may then send a notification to a user of the advertisement. In this way, the media guidance application correlates advertisements from a media asset with a user's actual needs, which may improve the advertisement conversion rate for advertisers.
Transactional platform
The present invention provides, among other aspects, methods, systems, devices and software products (computer program products) for creating and maintaining a transactional platform and network for offering, providing, selling and purchasing services, content and time.
