Reducing redirects
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for reducing redirects. In one aspect, a method includes receiving request data indicating that a user device has requested a content item. The request data specifies other data processing apparatus to which user interactions with the content item are to be reported. The content item includes a reference to a resource that is requested in response to user interaction with the content item. Response data is provided. The response data includes data that cause presentation of the content item. Interaction data is received specifying user interaction with the content item occurred. Redirect data is provided that cause the user device to be redirected to the resource. Reporting data is provided to the other data processing apparatus, specifying user interaction with the content item occurred. The reporting data is provided asynchronously relative to the redirect data.
PROCEDURE, METHOD, SYSTEM AND BUSINESS MODEL OF DIRECT ADVERTISING ON PERSONAL ELECTRONIC AND OTHER DEVICES
The present invention business model, process, method and system of direct advertising in the personal electronic and other devices is a procedure that overcomes so far insurmountable obstacle advertising on personal devices, which do not depend either on the internet providers, TV channels, radio channels, Internet companies, but the direct interests of consumers (users) that they receive particular device free of charge or fora symbolic fee, and the vendor (seller) who has interest because of profit and covering costs from the sate of advertising space on above mentioned device, in a way both parties have an interest to cooperate and you get the procedure that exceeds the shortcomings in advertising on personal devices.
METHOD FOR PLAYING VIDEOS AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A method for playing videos can include: playing a first video; displaying a video viewing portal on a playback interface of the first video, wherein the video viewing portal is configured for viewing of videos related to the first video; switching, in response to no trigger operation on the video viewing portal being detected within a first reference duration, the video viewing portal to a float window corresponding to a second video related to the first video; and playing the second video in response to a trigger operation on the float window.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE
An information processing device applies a machine learning model to content for a specific thing for sale to generate changed content in which a predetermined portion other than the specific thing for sale in the content is changed, provides a user with the changed content having been generated, and applies a machine learning model to content for another thing for sale and changes a predetermined portion other than the other thing for sale in accordance with an action of the user with respect to the changed content in the content for the other thing for sale to generate changed content for the other thing for sale.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ADAPTIVE ONLINE UPDATING OF AD RELATED MODELS
The present teaching relates to generating an updated model related to advertisement selection. In one example, a request is obtained for updating a model to be utilized for selecting an advertisement. A plurality of copies of the model is generated. The model is pre-selected based on a performance metric related to advertisement selection. Based on each of the plurality of copies, a candidate model is created by modifying one or more parameters of the copy of the model to create a plurality of candidate models. One of the plurality of candidate models is selected based on the performance metric. The steps of generating, creating, and selecting are repeated until a predetermined condition is met. The model is updated with the latest selected candidate model when the predetermined condition is met.
OBJECTS OF INTEREST IN ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
An example method for use in additive manufacturing comprises operating, by a processor, on object model data, the object model data describing an object to be generated in an additive manufacturing process. The example method comprises determining, by a processor, based on the object model data, whether a portion of the object to be generated is identified as an object of interest. In response to a determination that a portion of the object to be generated is identified as an object of interest, then the method comprises determining, by a processor, whether a policy-based action is associated with the object of interest. In response to a determination that a policy-based action is associated with the object of interest, then the method comprises executing, by a processor, the policy-based action, and generating, by a processor, the object according to the policy-based action.
SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR CLAIMING PROMOTIONAL REWARDS USING A REWARD WHEEL
A system and method for delivering promotional rewards to a customer mobile device comprising a promotional reward wheel, a media server, and messaging application operating on the customer's mobile device. A customer interacts with the promotional reward wheel and the system captures that interaction and responsive to the promotional reward that was won by the interaction, generates a message on the customer's mobile device with a means to claim the reward by sending the generated message to the appropriate message endpoint.
DYNAMIC EMBEDDING OF MACHINE-READABLE CODES WITHIN VIDEO AND DIGITAL MEDIA
This disclosure relates to technology for embedding machine-readable labels (“MRLs”) into digital media files. Digital media files may be presented on different screen sizes, having different resolutions, different frame refresh rates and other display properties. Each screen may therefore present an MRL differently, potentially negatively impacting scan-ability of the presented MRL. Systems disclosed herein receive a set of design choices for an MRL. The systems may resize pre-existing content in one or more video frames of the media file and create a space within each video frame for displaying the MRL. The systems may render a resultant video file for a target screen size that includes a reliably scannable MRL embedded in the video frame(s).
DIGITAL SIGNAGE AND GAMING SERVICES TO COMPLY WITH FEDERAL AND STATE ALCOHOL AND BEVERAGE LAWS AND REGULATIONS
Methods and systems providing digital signage and interactive gaming services in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations are described. A service fee is collected from a retailer, and a service fee may or may not be collected from a retailer (e.g., a bar). An advertising fee is collected from a first advertising provider. The first advertising provider is involved in alcohol distribution/wholesaling or manufacturing. A second advertising fee from a second advertising provider is collected. The second advertising provider is involved in a non-alcohol related industry. A portion of a subscription fee is collected based on a separate source of fees (e.g., text message or jukebox fee) received from a patron. The message may contain information indicating that the patron wishes to pay a service fee. Revenue sharing is implemented by distributing a portion of the service fee to the retailer and distributing a portion of the advertising fee from the second advertising provider to the retailer in compliance with federal and state laws.
