A method of controllably heating nasal rinsing solution inside a neti pot is provided. The method comprises the following steps: providing a nasal rinse system comprising: a neti pot having a main body forming a cavity for receiving a rinsing solution; a spout extending from a top portion of the main body; an opening defined by a top portion of the main body, wherein the opening communicates with the cavity; a lower portion of the main body incorporating a heating element electrically connected to a power source, wherein the heating element provides a thermostat for determining the heat at the heating element; and at least one indicator light that is electrically connected to the thermostat so that the at least one indicator light is activated when the said heat reaches a predetermined temperature; pouring the rinsing solution through the opening; and waiting for the at least one indicator light to by activated.

An actively heated mug, travel mug, baby bottle, water bottle or liquid container is provided. The mug, travel mug, baby bottle, water bottle or liquid container can include a body that receives a liquid therein and a heating or cooling system at least partially disposed in the body. The heating or cooling system can include one or more heating or cooling elements that heat a surface of the receiving portion of the body and one or more energy storage devices. The mug, travel mug, baby bottle, water bottle or liquid container can include a wireless power receiver that wirelessly receives power from a power source and control circuitry configured to charge one or more power storage elements and to control the delivery of electricity from the one or more power storage elements to the one or more heating or cooling elements. The mug, travel mug, baby bottle, water bottle or liquid container also can have one or more sensors that sense a parameter of the liquid or sense a parameter of the heating or cooling system and communicates the sensed information to the control circuitry. The control circuitry can turn on, turn off, and/or operate the heating or cooling element to actively heat or cool at least a portion of the body to maintain the liquid in a heated or cooled state generally at a user selected temperature setting based at least in part on the sensed parameter information. The mug, travel mug, baby bottle, water bottle or liquid container can also be paired with a remote device or mobile electronic device to send or receive communications or commands.

Vacuum electric kettle

A vacuum electric kettle includes a vacuum layer disposed between a liner and an outer shell with a heating disc component disposed inside. A matched electrical connector is disposed between the heating disc component and the base that includes a disc body compounded with a heating body. A seal ring clamping platform is arranged at the edge of the disc body. At least two elastic supporting legs are integrated with the disc body and disposed below the clamping platform. A supporting leg locating ring and a seal ring limiting rib are disposed on the liner with a seal ring between the limiting rib and the clamping platform. The heating disc component and the kettle body are positioned in a matched mode through the elastic supporting legs and the supporting leg locating ring. No welding is required between the heating disc component and the kettle body of the vacuum electric kettle.

Induction jug heater

An induction heater (10) for a jug (11). The jug (11) includes a base (12) from which there upwardly extends a side wall (13). The induction heater (10) includes an outer housing (15) that encloses that chamber (16). Located in the chamber (16) is the electronic component for the heater (10), including an electronic oscillator (17). The heater (10) includes a cavity (18) within which the jug (11) is located.

There is disclosed herein an appliance to heat a liquid, the appliance including: a vessel to receive the liquid to be heated, the vessel having a base, and a side wall extending upwardly from the base, with the base and side wall at least partly enclosing a chamber within which the liquid is heated; and a heating element for conductive heating of the base and the liquid in the chamber, wherein the base includes a floor and a raised portion extending from the floor into the chamber, the floor having a major surface to contact the liquid, and the raised portion having at least one minor surface to contact the liquid, the at least one minor surface being inclined relative to the major surface to promote movement of one or more bubbles, formed by heating of the liquid, away from the floor and into the chamber.

The invention relates to a kitchen appliance, in particular a mixer, comprising a housing (2), on which a vessel (3) can be arranged, wherein the housing (2) has a vessel receiving area (4), to which the vessel (3) can be connected, wherein the vessel (3) and the vessel receiving area (4) have electric contacts (5, 6, 7, 8) for connecting an electric device of the vessel (3), in particular a heating device and/or a measuring device, to a power supply of the kitchen appliance. To create an alternative and more comfortable option for positioning the electric contacts, it is proposed for the kitchen appliance and/or the vessel (3) to have a positioning device (10), which is embodied to position the electric contacts (5, 6) of the vessel (3) and the electric contacts (7, 8) of the vessel receiving area (4) relative to one another in an active manner, so that they can be transferred from a separated position into a contact position, so as to establish an electric connection between the vessel (3) and the kitchen appliance, wherein the contacts (5, 6) of the vessel (3) are movably arranged on the vessel (3) and/or the contacts (7, 8) of the vessel receiving area (4) are movably arranged on the vessel receiving area (4).

The electric kettle includes: a body receiving water or food therein; a lid configured to shield an open upper side of the body; a base provided at a lower side of the body and configured to support the body; a spout provided on an upper end of the body and guiding a discharge of the water or food contained inside the body; and a handle fastened to the upper end of the body and configured to be held by hand. According to the configuration of the electric kettle, there are advantages of providing a compact and aesthetic appearance and improving assemblability.
