System and method of enrolling users of a wireless biometric lockset
A method of enrolling a user at a biometric lockset is described. The method includes receiving user access information from a mobile device of an administrative user of the biometric lockset. The user access information indicates to the biometric lockset to enter an enrollment mode in which a user identity is associated with fingerprint data in a user entry within a memory of the biometric lockset. A plurality of different light codes are displayed on the lockset, each one of the plurality of light codes representative of a different state of fingerprint data capture. A message is transmitted to the mobile device, and corresponds to the light code displayed at the lockset. The completed fingerprint data is stored in association with the user identity of the user in the user entry.
Firearm safe box with slide opening container
A firearm safe box comprising a housing having sides defining an interior volume and an opening. A container is slidably received in the opening of the housing, the container being movable between a closed position preventing access to the container and an open position allowing access to the container. In this embodiment, the container carries a configured insert adapted to cradle a firearm. A lock mechanism is operative to retain the container in the closed position. An opening mechanism is operative to automatically move the container to the open position when the lock mechanism is released.
Systems and methods for providing temporary access credentials to access physical locations
A physical location access control system is configured to receive. via a network interface, a request to provide a temporary access right for a first physical location to a first user, the request providing an indication as to a first time period associated with the temporary access right. In response to determining that the requester has an access right to the first physical location for a second time period that comprises the first time period, a temporary access token corresponding to the first time period is created and the requester's access right to access the first physical location for the first time period is disabled. The temporary access token is transmitted to a device associated with the first user, enabling the first user to access the first physical location during the first time period.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING AND EXECUTING TRUSTED USER ACCESS
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are provided herein for user access to smart locks at a retail shopping facility. In one embodiment, a system for user access to smart locks at a retail shopping facility includes an access member, a smart lock securing the access member, and a control circuit. The control circuit configured to receive authentication data from the user interface device; determine whether the authentication data matches within a threshold of stored authentication data associated with a profile stored in a database; determine that the user is a trusted user based on the determination that the authentication data matches with the stored authentication data within the threshold; and provide an optical key to the user interface device, wherein the smart lock is configured to unlock the access member in response to receiving the optical key from the user interface device.
INTERLOCK CONTROL SYSTEM LINKED TO DIGITAL KEY AND INTERLOCK CONTROL METHOD FOR THE SAME
An interlock control system linked to a digital key includes an alcohol interlock controller, which calculates a decomposition time period required to decompose blood alcohol of each driver using personal information of the driver, extracted by authenticating a digital key, when a blood alcohol concentration measured by an alcohol measuring sensor exceeds a reference value. The alcohol interlock controller then restricts ignition of a vehicle using the digital key for the decomposition time period. By calculating and providing the decomposition time period for restricting the ignition of the vehicle, based on the personal information and an actual alcohol clearance of the driver, predicted information on a time point for allowing the driver to drive the vehicle is provided to the driver. An interlock control method for the same is also provided.
ON-DEMAND INSURANCE FOR VEHICLE SHARING
Disclosed embodiments include systems, vehicles, and methods for ensuring an insurance policy is in place to cover use of a vehicle by an authorized user. In various embodiments, a computing device associated with the vehicle executes computer-executable instructions to determine an identity of a user seeking to operate the vehicle and whether an insurance policy associated with the vehicle covers operation of the vehicle by the user. Responsive to a determination that the user is not associated with the insurance policy covering the use of the vehicle, operation of the vehicle by the user is enabled in response to a further determination that the user is covered by an existing insurance policy associated with the user that provides coverage for the operation of the vehicle by the user and an on-demand insurance policy secured by the user that provides coverage for the operation of the vehicle by the user.
AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE REFUELING
Methods and systems for autonomous vehicle recharging or refueling are disclosed. Autonomous vehicles may be automatically refueled by routing the vehicles to available fueling stations when not in operation, according to methods described herein. A fuel level within a tank of an autonomous vehicle may be monitored until it reaches a refueling threshold, at which point an on-board computer may generate a predicted use profile for the vehicle. Based upon the predicted use profile, a time and location for the vehicle to refuel the vehicle may be determined. In some embodiments, the vehicle may be controlled to automatically travel to a fueling station, refill a fuel tank, and return to its starting location in order to refuel when not in use.
Safe container for grooming products
A safe container comprises a first receptacle configured to receive a grooming product and a biometric lock configured to selectively open the first receptacle to a designated user. The grooming product may include a shaver and/or razor blade cartridges. The biometric lock may include a fingerprint reader.
Artificial intelligence storage and tracking system for emergency departments and trauma centers
An inventory tracking and management system includes storage devices comprising carts, cabinets, or shelves, sensors and/or monitoring devices associated with the storage devices, a central database connecting the storage devices, sensors, and monitoring devices within a hospital, and a processing server associated with the central database. The processing server including a software system controlling operation of the inventory tracking and management system.
TRANSMITTER FOR TRANSMITTING A SECURE ACCESS SIGNAL
A transmitter for transmitting a secure access signal to a system for providing secure access to a controlled item is disclosed. The access is dependent on information contained in the secure access signal. The transmitter comprises a biometric sensor for receiving a biometric signal and a processor for matching the biometric signal against members of a database of biometric signatures. The transmitter comprises enabling means for enabling an inductive circuit, based on the matching of the biometric signal, to transmit the secure access signal conveying the information to the system upon the inductive circuit being placed within range of a radio frequency field emitted by the system.
