Feature amount management apparatus and method
According to one embodiment, a feature amount management apparatus includes a data generation unit, an ID generation unit, a storage unit, and a deletion unit. The data generation unit generates, from an image, feature amount data indicating a feature amount of biometric information of a person. The ID generation unit generates identification information including expiration date information used for determining an expiration date of the feature amount data. The storage unit stores the feature amount data in correlation with the identification information. The deletion unit deletes the feature amount data when the feature amount data pass the expiration date.
Systems and methods for health screening and access
A system for health screening and access to a facility comprises a computer server and a plurality of stations. The computer server and/or each station are configured to: receive input from a touch screen indicating one of a plurality of entrant types, the input being initiated by an individual; receive identification information from a badge scanner; receive a temperature value from a temperature scanner; if the temperature value is above a normal threshold, send a notification to facility staff; if the temperature value is within a normal range, display wellness attestation questions and receive wellness attestation answers; if any wellness attestation answer is adverse, send the notification; if no wellness attestation answer is adverse, for employees, display a question inquiring if the employee needs an item of personal protective equipment (PPE) and receive a PPE answer, and for non-employees, print a label that includes identification information about the individual.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A CONTACTLESS VISITOR CHECK-IN
A system including one or more processors and one or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing computing instructions configured to run on the one or more processors and perform one or more processors and perform: transmitting an invitation to a mobile application on a mobile device of a user, wherein the invitation authorizes the mobile application on the mobile device to be used to check-in to a facility; generating, by a visitor application, an image that is displayed on a kiosk at an entrance of the facility; receiving, from the mobile device, image data of the image, as scanned by the mobile application from the kiosk, and mobile application data; validating whether the mobile application data and the image data satisfy one or more criteria; and when the one or more criteria are satisfied, authorizing the user to access the facility. Other embodiments are disclosed.
AUTOMATIC PAYMENT MACHINE AND AUTOMATIC PAYMENT MACHINE CONTROL METHOD
An automatic payment machine includes an information reading section, an image reading section, a display acceptance section, a key issuing section, and a control section. The control section instructs the information reading section to read passport information. Upon acquiring the passport information via the information reading section, the control section verifies reservation information and instructs the key issuing section to issue a room key, based on the verification result. Upon failing to acquire the passport information via the information reading section, the control section instructs the display acceptance section to display a designation screen for performing an operation to acquire image data of a passport, acquires the image data, instructs the image reading section to perform character recognition on the image data and read character information, verifies the reservation information, and instructs the key issuing section to issue the room key, based on the verification result.
Identification Badge System
An identification badge system has an image relaying device for communicating an electronic image, a base station for communicating with the image relaying device, a readiness indicator, and a reusable badge. The base station has at least one docking receptacle for docking the badge. The badge has a housing and an e-paper display. The housing docks for communicating the electronic image from the base station to the e-paper display and/or for charging. The e-paper display maintains the electronic image when the badge is removed from the receptacle. The base station erases the electronic image from the e-paper display when the badge is re-docked. The badge has an RFID tag for communication with standard access control readers, writers and controllers and has a Wi-Fi transponder and associated circuitry for tracking visitor locations by sending a RF signal to Wi-Fi routers or Bluetooth beacons. Visitor location can also be ascertained using GPS.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MOBILE IMAGE CAPTURE AND CONTENT PROCESSING OF DRIVER'S LICENSES
Systems and methods are provided for processing and extracting content from an image captured using a mobile device. In one embodiment, an image is captured by a mobile device and corrected to improve the quality of the image. The corrected image is then further processed by adjusting the image, identifying the format and layout of the document, binarizing the image and extracting the content using optical character recognition (OCR). Multiple methods of image adjusting may be implemented to accurately assess features of the document, and a secondary layout identification process may be performed to ensure that the content being extracted is properly classified.
Coupled interactive devices
The discussion relates to spatially meshed interactive devices. One example can include a mesh component that has access to a layout of features of a facility and to information about users associated with the facility. The example can also include multiple interactive devices including sensors and communication components. The multiple interactive devices are communicatively coupled via the communication components and at least some of the multiple interactive devices are communicatively coupled to the mesh component. The multiple interactive devices are located at known positions in the facility to create a spatial mesh at the facility relative to the features.
Method of securely transmitting an image from an electronic identity document to a terminal
The invention relates to systems and methods of securely transmitting an image stored in the memory of an identity document to a first terminal that is suitable for receiving the image. In various implementations, operations are performed by the identity document, including the identity document receiving an attribute transmitted by the first terminal; generating a marker from the attribute received from the terminal; including the marker in the image; and transmitting the image containing the marker, which may be referred to as the modified image, to the terminal.
Mobile terminal for capturing biometric data
A mobile terminal is provided by an issuing authority for capturing biometric data of a user for transmission to a security document. The mobile terminal includes a data storage unit containing a credential, an authentication module, a sensor for capturing the biometric data of the user and a control unit that is configured to capture the biometric data of the user only upon successful reciprocal authentication of the user and the mobile terminal. An authenticity test module tests the authenticity of the captured biometric data captured. If authentic, the captured biometric data is stored in the data storage unit in protected form. Readout of the biometric data from the mobile terminal, by an operator of the issuing authority, is permitted only if the operator has been authenticated to the mobile terminal using additional authentication data.
