A brewer system includes a reservoir, a steep chamber movable relative to the reservoir and positioned over a mouth of the reservoir, and a filter tape positioned between the chamber and the reservoir. Brewing substance and water are added to the chamber to form a brewed beverage that passes through the filter tape and into the reservoir through the mouth.

The sealing ring includes a compressible layer of fibrous and/or cellulose and/or paper material and an outer shielding layer of a liquid-impermeable material, where the shielding layer is provided on an outwardly directed external surface of the sealing ring and where the shielding layer is configured for shielding the inner compressible layer of fibrous and/or cellulose and/or paper material against pressurized liquid during beverage production.

The machine includes: an outside housing (30) with one or more outside faces (30a,30a′,30b,30c,30d); and at least one placement member (30e) for resting onto a generally flat external support surface (5) in a configuration such that the unit is in an orientation for preparing and dispensing the beverage via the beverage outlet (36) to a beverage dispensing surface (5,37). At least one placement member (30e) is movable and has: a deployed placement position providing a stability of the unit in this orientation on the external support surface (5); and a retracted rest position within the outside housing (30) or collapsed against the outside housing (30).
Coffee vending machine
Provided is a coffee vending machine including: a plurality of capsule stacking parts arranged in a lattice form to stack capsules therein in a first direction, a capsule feeding unit disposed at the centers of the bottoms of the capsule stacking parts to feed the capsules quantitatively, a coffee brewing part for seating the capsule fed from the capsule feeding unit, feeding water to the capsule, and brewing coffee to be provided for a consumer, and a cup discharging part for discharging a cup in which the coffee is contained to the outside. The coffee brewing part allows the capsule to be seated onto a seating groove when first and second portion seating parts are adjacent thereto or contacted with each other and allows the capsule to be freely fallen through a space formed between the first and second portion seating parts when they are spaced apart from each other.

An apparatus (1) for making a beverage, which uses a capsule (9) containing a food substance, comprises an optical capsule recognition system. The optical recognition system is intended to recognise an identification element (95) that is positioned inside the capsule (9). The optical recognition system comprises an optical reader (81) that has a reading head (82) associated with a piercer (37) and intended to enter the capsule (9) through a piercing made in said region (93) of the capsule (9). The apparatus (1) further comprises a detection system capable of detecting the reaching of a piercing position, interposed between a home position and an infusion position, wherein the piercer (37) makes a piercing in the capsule. The optical recognition system is operatively connected to the detection system and is configured to perform the recognition based on a reading performed by the optical reader (81) after the piercing position has been reached.

Cartridge holder for beverage machine
A beverage making machine having a cartridge holder with an upper portion movable in pivotal and/or linear ways relative to a lower portion. An actuator for the cartridge portion may include a handle-actuated spur gear and link to move the upper portion, which may be guided in movement via a cam and cam follower engagement. Information from a cartridge detector may be used based on movement of cartridge holder portions, e.g., as an upper portion moves from an open position to a closed position. A mixing chamber may be held by a drawer so as to be removable, and movement of the drawer may engage/disengage the mixing chamber from a fluid supply.

COFFEE MAKER COVER AND CAPSULE COFFEE MAKER
The application discloses a coffee maker cover and a capsule coffee maker. The coffee maker cover includes an upper cover structure, a lower cover structure and a needle assembly, where the lower cover structure is installed on the upper cover structure in a manner of being capable of moving relative to the upper cover structure, the lower cover structure has at least a first position away from the upper cover structure and a second position close to the upper cover structure, and the needle assembly is installed on the upper cover structure; when the lower cover structure is at the first position, the needle assembly is hidden in the lower cover structure; and when the lower cover structure is at the second position, the needle assembly extends from the lower cover structure to expose a needle outlet and the needle assembly is in hermetic communication with a water inlet channel. The capsule coffee maker can protect a user from stab caused by the user's misoperation and touch with the needle assembly, thereby improving use safety of the coffee maker. In addition, when the needle assembly is hidden in the lower cover structure, the overall shape of the coffee maker is more beautiful.
