20170309110 · 2017-10-26 · ·

A paper money recycling bin and paper money processing device; the paper money recycling bin includes a box and a partition plate installed in the box; symmetrical vertical groove groups are provided on a left inner wall and a right inner wall of the box; each vertical groove group includes a plurality of vertical grooves; and a left edge and a right edge of the partition plate are inserted in the vertical grooves to partition the internal space of the box, thus preventing a gap in the space, and avoiding the situation of tilting, irregular stacking or jamming when paper money subsequently enters.

MEDIUM PROCESSING DEVICE AND MEDIUM TRANSACTION DEVICE

The present invention provides a medium processing device and medium transaction device that may increase stability by shortening a conveyance path. Namely, a banknote deposit/withdrawal device includes a conveyance section that forms a linear conveyance path along a front-rear direction inside an upper section block, in the vicinity of a boundary with a lower section block. An upper section storage box is disposed in the vicinity of a rear side terminal end of a rear conveyance section. Counterfeit notes are conveyed to the upper section storage box using a switching section. Accordingly, due to keeping the conveyance path length short, the banknote deposit/withdrawal device may reduce the frequency of occurrence of faults, such as banknote jams, and may prevent the circulation of counterfeit notes by storing counterfeit notes segregated from genuine banknotes, reject banknotes, and the like.

FINANCIAL DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME

Disclosed herein are a financial device and a method for controlling the same. The financial device includes: a multi-media storage module including a first storage part having a first stacking space in which media are stacked and a second storage part disposed under the first storage part and having a second stacking space in which media are stacked, in which the multi-media storage module has the first stacking space and the second stacking space provided at different sizes.

PAPER SHEET STORAGE DEVICE AND PAPER SHEET STORAGE METHOD

A paper sheet storage device includes a supply reel that supplies a rolled tape; a winding drum around which a banknote is wound together with the tape supplied from the supply reel; a first detection unit that detects a supply amount of the tape supplied from the supply reel; and a second detection unit that detects the winding drum of which the outer diameter becomes equal to or larger than a predetermined outer diameter when the banknote is wound around the winding drum together with the tape.

CASH MACHINE CASSETTE MANAGEMENT

In one embodiment, a method for managing a cash machine having at least one deployed cash cassette having a picking assembly includes (a) determining that the deployed cash cassette should be replaced and (b) generating a cassette-replacement message in order to have a new cash cassette shipped to the cash machine to enable the deployed cash cassette to be replaced with the new cash cassette. In one implementation, the deployed cash cassette includes a cash store that stores currency bills, a picking assembly that retrieves currency bills from the cash store for dispensing from the cash machine and a cassette controller that controls operations of the cash cassette, wherein the cassette controller determines that the cash cassette should be replaced.

PAPER SHEET STORAGE DEVICE AND PAPER SHEET STORAGE METHOD

A paper sheet storage device includes a supply reel which has a constant load spring formed of a metal band and around which the metal band is rolled, and a winding drum around which banknotes are wound together with the metal band supplied from the supply reel.

BILL HANDLING SYSTEM

There is provided a bill handling system (1) including a camera (440), a grasping unit (430), and a control unit (100) for photographing the inside of the cashbox (10) by the camera (440) after a bill (B) in the cash box (10) is taken out by the grasping unit (430), determining whether or not a bill (B) remains in the cash box (10) based on the photographed image, and performing error processing when the bill (B) remains in the cash box (10).

MEDIUM TRANSACTION DEVICE

A medium transaction device includes: a conveyance section for a medium; a customer interface attachment point; a classification section attachment point; a storage section attachment point; and a controller that controls transaction processing of the medium with the user. At least one of the customer interface attachment point, the classification section attachment point, or the storage section attachment point is configured to allow attachment of one type of the customer interface, the classification section, or the storage section from plural mutually different respective functional types thereof. The controller switches the transaction processing executable with the user according to the type of the customer interface, the classification section, or the storage section that is attached to the customer interface attachment point, the classification section attachment point, or the storage section attachment point.

Automated teller machine with an automatically actuatable locking element for locking cash boxes received in receiving compartments in these receiving compartments

An automated teller machine (10) has at least one receiving compartment (12 to 18) for receiving a cash box (102). At least one locking element (24, 26) is provided on a wall (20, 22) of the receiving compartment (12 to 18) and is movable between a locked and an unlocked position. The locking element (24, 26) is designed and mounted such that, when a cash box (102) is inserted the locking element (24, 26), the locking element (24, 26) is moved automatically from the unlocked into the locked position by contact with an engagement element (104) of the cash box (102).
