TRANSACTION CARD ASSEMBLY

Provided are approaches for providing multiple user accounts in a same transaction card assembly. The transaction card assembly may include a first card including a first card first side opposite a first card second side, the first card first side including a first pair of magnetic stripes and the first card second side including a first pair of identification chips. The transaction card assembly may further include a second card coupled to the first card, the second card including a second card first side opposite a second card second side, the second card first side including a second pair of magnetic stripes, and the second card second side including a second pair of identification chips. The first and second cards are slidable relative to one another between multiple positions to selectively expose and cover each identification chip of the first and second pairs of identification chips.

Credit card with chromogenic features

A credit card with an obscurable account identifier. The credit card further comprises a substrate defining a first surface with a chromogenic feature wherein the chromogenic feature is capable of changing from a first state and a second state based on an activating trigger. In the first state, the chromogenic feature appears with a first optical property that obscures the account identifier, and in the second state, the chromogenic feature appears with a second optical property that reveals the account identifier.

PAYMENT APPLICATION INITIATED GENERATION OF PAYMENT INSTRUMENTS

In some examples, a system and method for generating a payment instrument are described. The method includes receiving a unique signature that a recipient intends to associate with the payment instrument; verifying that the received feature meets an acceptability criterion; generating a representation of the received signature, wherein the representation is in a form capable of being physically associated with the payment instrument, and wherein association is established by embedding or exposing the representation on the payment instrument; and causing physical generation of the payment instrument having associated therewith the representation of the signature.
