Computer-based systems and methods configured for one or more technological applications for authorizing a credit card for use by a user

A configured application for authorizing a credit card by a user and a method that may include receiving an electronic request to pair a mobile device associated with a user with a credit card of the user. The credit card may include a location tracking circuitry to remotely communicate a location of the credit card to a remote electronic recipient. The location of the credit card may be received by a processor from the remote electronic recipient. A proximity multi-factor authentication may verify that the user is an authorized user of the credit card. The mobile device associated with the user may be paired with the credit card of the user after verifying that the user is the authorized user. The processor may receive the location of the credit card paired with the mobile device from the remote electronic recipient. The location of the credit card may be displayed on a display of the mobile device associated with the user.

Computer-based systems having computing devices configured to interact with dynamic cards and methods of use thereof

At least some embodiments are directed to a dynamic card. The dynamic card transmits a first temporary card identification number to a computing device. The dynamic card is without an internal power source and is powered up by an external power source housed within the computing device. The dynamic card determines an absence of unused encrypted card identification numbers and receives a set of encrypted card identification numbers from a server. The dynamic card decrypts a second temporary card identification number from the encrypted card identification numbers and shows the second temporary card identification number on a display, replacing the first temporary card identification number. The second temporary card identification number remains shown on the display after the power from the external power source is discontinued. The second temporary card identification number can be used in a subsequent interaction with another computing device.

Wait times at ATMs may undermine the utility of these self-service machines. ATMs are configured to provide faster self-service kiosks that allow users to quickly perform common financial transactions. However, it has been increasing common for users to have to wait on a line to access an ATM. Apparatus and methods are provided for a smart card that stages transactions by capturing the amount, pin and other necessary information on the smart card itself, before the user begins interacting with the ATM. Information captured by the smart card may be transferred to ATM when the smart card is inserted into ATM. The user does not provide the ATM with any additional information after inserted the smart card into the ATM, thereby improving the transaction processing efficiency of the ATM and enhancing user satisfaction.
