Methods, Systems and Computer Program Products for Identity Authentication for Payment Card Based Payment Transactions
The invention provides methods, systems and computer program products for identity authentication for payment card based payment transactions. A payment card may be configured for payor identity authentication for the purpose of an electronic payment transaction(s), and may comprise (i) sensors to measure card handling parameters, (ii) an authentication signature generator, configured to generate and store a biometric identity signature associated with an authorized cardholderwhich signature is based on a first set of card handling parameter data received from the sensors, (iii) a card handling data comparator configured to receive a second set of card handling parameter data from the sensors, retrieve the biometric identity signature associated with the authorized cardholder, and compare the second set of card handling parameter data with data extracted from the retrieved biometric identity signature, and (iv) an authentication decision generator configured to generate an identity authentication decision based on the comparison.
Method and device for digital payment transactions
A method and device for digital payment transactions is provided. A method for encoding data for use in a digital payment transaction between a cardholder and a merchant includes generating, by a cardholder electronic device, dynamic magnetic stripe data associated with a digital payment card of a digital wallet application stored in a data storage module of the cardholder electronic device, retrieving merchant-related data stored in the data storage module of the cardholder electronic device, and encoding, by the cardholder electronic device, the generated dynamic magnetic stripe data and the retrieved merchant-related data in a machine-readable visual code for use in the digital payment transaction.
SECURE STORAGE SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Secure storage platforms and their application in secure temporary property storage applications are disclosed and comprise: secure locker systems; secure locker systems comprising emergency access; secure locker systems comprising collapsible lockable compartments; secure storage systems comprising chain of custody management, recording and authentication; redirected delivery including post-delivery redirected delivery, en route delivery and dispatch delivery services comprising chain of custody services; and secure property claim check and car valet systems. A secure storage platform uses a secure protocol to establish challenge code and verification code generators to provide short lived single use access authentication codes to enable secure access and custody management of secured and stored property.

Apparatus and method for dynamic offline balance management for preauthorized smart cards
A smart payment device is issued to a user; the device is capable of both offline and online transactions and has a total available balance split. The split is between an available offline balance and an available online balance. It is determined whether the user has entered a primarily offline environment or will imminently enter a primarily offline environment. If this is so, the total available balance split is redistributed to favor offline transactions.
Data security measures for mobile devices
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for storing a plurality of stored fingerprints, wherein each of the stored fingerprints is associated with a respective software environment and a respective mobile device; receiving from a first mobile device a first fingerprint of a first software environment in the first mobile device; determining whether the stored fingerprints include less than a threshold amount of fingerprints identical to the first fingerprint; based on a determination that the stored fingerprints include less than the threshold amount of fingerprints identical to the first fingerprint, determining that the first software environment is a compromised software environment; and performing a corrective measure.
Identification verification system
A method and apparatus is provided for verifying the validity of ID cards. A card reading device reads an ID card and transmits a request to a database server. A database is queried and a reply is sent back to the card reading device indicating whether the ID is valid. If desired, the reply can include additional information, such as a description of the ID holder. The ID verification system can be used to help verify whether an ID belongs to the ID holder. The system can also log and timestamp events for future access.
Automated vending machine with customer and identification authentication
Implementations include actions of receiving consumer-specific data and ID-specific data from an identification presented by a consumer to a vending machine, processing at least a portion of the ID-specific data to determine one or more of whether the identification is unexpired and whether the identification is authentic, and serving the consumer from the vending machine at least partially in response to determining that the identification is unexpired and that the identification is authentic and determining that the consumer is authentic relative to the identification.

Item exchange locker and station
An item exchange locker station may include a station-level user interface accessible from outside the station enclosure to receive identifying information of a deliverer or a retriever seeking to enter the station and to transmit the identifying information to an off-site data server for the identifying information to be validated against a database. The station may also include lockers disposed within the station enclosure, the lockers including a locker access door, and a locker locking mechanism configured to alternatively lock and unlock to impede and permit, respectively, opening of the locker access door. The station may also include a locker-level controller configured to receive locker unlocking instructions from the off-site data server upon validation of the identifying information.
