Multipark Valet Parking Application
20200311620 · 2020-10-01 ·

A computer program product and a mobile application are disclosed for managing a valet service for a vehicle, comprising negotiating a drop-off and a pickup of the vehicle from a selected valet provider, reserving a valet parking of the vehicle via the selected valet provider, transacting a fee for the valet parking paid from a user to the valet provider and determining associated services for the vehicle while parked. Additionally, reserving a new valet reservation via a GPS location of the vehicle, a location of a selected valet provider and a drop-off and pickup time are disclosed. Furthermore, determining associated services for the vehicle while parked further includes renting the vehicle to a third party for a time the vehicle is to be parked, washing or detailing the vehicle and performing mechanical and other repairs are included. Yet picking up the vehicle from a third party vehicle renter is disclosed.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR VEHICLE PARKING MANAGEMENT
20200279485 · 2020-09-03 ·

The disclosure provides a parking management system and a parking management method. The parking management system can comprise one or more servers in communication with one or more vehicles. The one or more vehicles can be configured to be shared and utilized by one or more users for transportation. The one or more servers can be configured to receive location data from the one or more vehicles, and determine, based on the received location data and for each vehicle, whether the vehicle is located within one or more predefined parking areas when (1) the vehicle is not in use or (2) upon completion of a transportation trip by the vehicle.

Low-power vehicle detection
10741064 · 2020-08-11 · ·

A parking meter detects an object in proximity, based on a change in a proximity measurement at the meter, activates a directional sensor in response to detecting the object, receives sensor data at a meter processor from the directional sensor, wherein the received sensor data indicates a predetermined direction to the detected object relative to the meter. The parking meter determines a presence of the object, or lack thereof, in the predetermined direction based on the sensor data, and upon a positive determination of the presence of the object, stores an indication of the presence of the object along with a time of the positive determination.

PARKING METER MONITORING AND PAYMENT SYSTEM
20200242935 · 2020-07-30 ·

Methods and systems for automatically monitoring a parking meter associated with a vehicle. The system includes a transceiver configured to receive location data of a mobile device associated with a user of the vehicle. The system includes an electronic control unit (ECU) of the vehicle configured to receive or determine parking meter data associated with the parking meter. The ECU is configured to determine, based on the parking meter data, whether a time remaining on the parking meter is below a time threshold. The ECU is configured to automatically communicate, to the mobile device, a warning communication indicating the time remaining on the parking meter when the time remaining on the parking meter is below the time threshold and the location data of the mobile device indicates that a location of the mobile device is more than a threshold distance away from a location of the vehicle.

Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for facilitating reservation for a parking space with a near field communication-enabled device

Methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer readable media for facilitating reservation for a parking space with a near field communications (NFC)-enabled device are provided. A system can include an NFC-enabled parking meter associated with a parking space and a controller in communication with the NFC-enabled parking meter for measuring time and processing payment. A system can include an NFC-enabled device that upon interfacing with the NFC-enabled parking meter communicates with the controller to create a reservation of a parking space.

PARKING METHODS AND SYSTEMS

Disclosed are devices, systems and methods for managing parking monitoring and enforcement. Parking at a meter or in a parking lot or ramp can be provided as a subscription. A registration and verification process for the subscription service can be provided as a multi-step process that combines the smart parking meter with a QR code, a mobile parking app for a smartphone, a central parking management system, and digital images of the parked vehicle(s). The registration process verifies that only vehicles owned by the subscriber are associated with the subscriber's account. Steps can also be employed to ensure that subscribers are not incorrectly issued parking citations by determining whether license plate data for a vehicle initially determined to be in violation matches an active subscription parker's roster of registered vehicles.

Parking meter system

A parking enforcement device includes a weather resistant housing, a processor disposed inside of the housing, a memory disposed inside of the housing and coupled to the processor, a network interface disposed in the housing and coupled to the processor, and a first camera coupled to the processor. The camera monitors a first parking space. A second camera remote from the parking meter monitors a second parking space and is networked to the processor. The processor is configured to recognize when a vehicle enters either of the first and second parking spaces and to determine if a parking violation min either of the spaces has occurred.

Parking Lot Check In System

A system for operating a location for parking vehicles in a manner which is easy to implement and requires little or no equipment at the location. Access to the system would be through mobile devices which are widely available. Information about the location at issue would be accessed via a QR Code (or similar means) and data collection would preferably be done by data extraction from videos or pictures. Payment for the services would be by digital means through the system. The system would also provide the owner or manager of the location the means to monitor and/or enforce violations of the location restrictions.

HYDROGEN GAS SUPPLY SYSTEM, POINT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, AND SERVICE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

A hydrogen gas supply system comprises a storing unit that stores hydrogen, a communication unit that receives at least either of burden information indicative of an environmental burden exerted during manufacturing of hydrogen externally received by the storing unit and quality information indicative of quality with respect to the hydrogen externally received by the storing unit, a user interface unit that provides an output in accordance with the at least either of the burden information and the quality information with respect to the hydrogen supplied from the storing unit to the user, and a controller that controls the user interface unit based on an amount of the hydrogen received by the storing unit and the at least either of the burden information and the quality information, which is received by the communication unit.

COMPUTER-IMPLEMENTED SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROXIMITY-BASED COMPUTER APPLICATION CONTROL
20200134963 · 2020-04-30 ·

A computer-implemented system and method for proximity-based computer application control is provided. A mobile device is determined to be present in a vehicle via a parking management application and the mobile device is associated with a driver of the vehicle. A location of the mobile device is monitored during the presence in the vehicle and a location of the vehicle is identified as parked in a parking space. The driver is determined to have left the vehicle when the location of the mobile device differs from the vehicle. An amount of time passed since the driver left the vehicle is determined and a threshold is applied to the amount of time passed. A notification for initiating parking via a parking application is delivered to the driver via a parking management application when the amount of time passed exceeds the threshold.
