In accordance with some embodiments, a game table such an electronic baccarat table may be equipped with one or more detecting components (e.g., an RFID antenna, an NFC antenna or an optical reader) to identify gaming elements placed in a certain area of the game table and determine the status of each such gaming element. A specific type of transaction may be automatically inferred by the game table, without a dealer specifically requesting an initiation of a mode or process for the type of transaction, based on statuses of the gaming elements detected within the area and a current phase or stage of a game event. For example, a Change Transaction may be inferred upon the game table determining that both inventory and non-inventory game elements are present within the area of the table at the same time.

Embodiments relate to systems, methods and computer readable media for gaming monitoring. In particular, embodiments process images to determine presence of a gaming object on a gaming table in the images. Embodiments estimate postures of one or more players in the images and based on the estimated postures determine a target player associated with the gaming object among the one or more players.

A computing device for gaming by patrons. An identification acceptor may scan an identification document into digital form. A biological sensor such as a camera may obtain biological data describing a human patron. Input-output device(s) mounted in the computing device may present information and accept registration/login information and gaming commands from a human patron. A currency acceptor and dispenser may accept money. The computing device may ask a patron to insert an identification document into the identification acceptor and scan the document. The computing device may obtain biological data describing the patron. The computing device may verify the identity of the patron and acceptability of the patron for gaming based at least in part on the digital form of the patron's identification and the biological data. The computing device may accept currency for deposit into a wagering account. Once the patron is verified and the account is funded, the computing device may offer gaming activities to the verified patron out of the wagering account and pay out gaming winnings at the currency dispenser.

A computer-implemented method of pseudo-randomly selecting game elements for use in playing a game. An oracle obtains: a set of seed data items, the set of seed data items comprises one or more user seed data items generated by a respective user; a sequence of public keys; and a list of game elements. A total number of public keys corresponds to a total number of game elements. The oracle generates a first output of a game transaction. The first output comprises the sequence of public keys and a script configured to generate at least one pseudorandom number based on the set of seed data items. The script is configured to generate a list of the public keys based on the at least one pseudorandom number. An order of public keys in the list of public keys differs compared to an order of public keys in the sequence of public keys.

A method and apparatus for a chip tracking system. A chip tray is positioned above a light-diffusion box. The chip tray has a transparent portion for a column of the chip tray. One or more image sensors are positioned with a viewing perspective of chips through a transparent portion of an underside of the chip tray. A tracking controller is configured to illuminate the light-diffusion box with diffused light that shines through the transparent portion of the chip tray and illuminates the edge of one or more chips in a chip stack visible via the transparent portion. The one or more image sensors capture an image of one or more chips in the column in response to illumination of the light-diffusion box. The tracking controller analyzes, via a neural network model, a color pattern on the edge of the one or more chips. The tracking controller associates the color pattern on the edge of the one or more chips with a denomination value for the chip stack. The tracking controller determines, using a range imaging device, a height of the chip stack. Further, the tracking controller computes a monetary value of the chip stack based on the denomination value, the height of the chip stack, and a known edge thickness of one of the one or more chips.
