Personalized QR codes for ATM authentication
Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for creating a personalized barcode for an account holder at an Automated Teller Machine (ATM). An embodiment operates by storing account holder unique data and a first rule for generating a personalized barcode unique to the account holder based on the account holder unique data. After receiving a request for completion of a transaction from the first account holder, placing the account holder unique data and the first rule in a pairing service. Thereafter, the ATM is configured to retrieve the account holder unique data and the first rule from the pairing service, generate the first personalized barcode based on the first rule and the account holder unique data, and present the first personalized barcode to the first account holder.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ENABLING CARDLESS TRANSACTIONS AT AN ATM FOR ANY INSTITUTIONAL ENTITY
A method for performing on-behalf tokenization for an automated teller machine (ATM) transaction to enable cardless transactions for any institutional entity includes: receiving, by a receiver of a processing server, a withdrawal request from a first computing system, the withdrawal request including at least a payment token and transaction data; validating, by a processor of the processing server, the payment token included in the withdrawal request; transmitting, by a transmitter of the processing server, the payment token to a second computing system; receiving, by the receiver of the processing server, cryptographic data from the second computing system; transmitting, by the transmitter of the processing server, at least the payment token, cryptographic data, and transaction data to a third computing system, wherein the first computing system, third computing system, and processing server are separate and distinct systems.

VIRTUAL SMART CARD FOR BANKING AND PAYMENTS
The Present Invention focuses on performing banking operation at kiosk unit (an ATM) without the use of conventional physical smart cards. A special type of card called a Virtual Smart Card (V.S.C) is deployed by the bank authority which is portable on any smart device which a user possesses and this V.S.C is such that it can be only accessed in the presence of an interface provided by the bank authority. We later depict as of how a V.S.C can emulate normal physical smart cards for performing banking operation and also as of how this V.S.C can be used for making payment to merchants or on the websites when user desires. A special type of V.S.C and interface called merchant V.S.C and S-interface is provided to merchants by the bank authority such that it can be deployed easily on multiple devices such that multiple agents working under a merchant can use it for collecting payment. The payment is done by user by just scanning the QR code on the special interface which a merchant possesses and confirming the transaction amount. Moreover when user desires to make payment on the website the user need not enter card credentials; here transaction is processed in such a manner that user credentials are never exposed. The V.S.C is deployed such that the user can update the credentials of the V.S.C by accessing the interface at the kiosk unit. In general the invention focuses on emulating physical smart cards and depicting how online transactions and transactions at the kiosk can be performed using Virtual Smart cards.
Securing a cardless ATM authentication through position detection
Systems and methods include a kiosk that performs an electronic payment transaction based on instructions received from a portable device of a user. The system further includes a transmitting device electrically coupled to the kiosk. The transmitting device is configured to transmit a first signal to the portable device at a first direction. The system further includes a receiving device electrically coupled to the kiosk. The receiving device is configured to receive a second signal from the portable device at a second direction. The transmitting device and receiving device are positioned such that the first and second direction enable determination of a position of the user, where the processor enables the electronic payment transaction to be processed only when the portable device is at a location relative to the kiosk. The location is disposed within a transmission path coextensive with both the first direction and the second direction.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR LOADING RELOADABLE CARDS
A computer-implemented method and a system for loading reloadable cards, the computer-implemented method including: receiving, from an automated teller machine (ATM), a loading transaction request, the loading transaction request including a reloadable card identifier associated with a reloadable card, a funding card identifier associated with a funding card, and loading amount information; executing a funding card authorisation process; executing a reloadable card crediting process; and sending loading transaction approval to the ATM.
System, method, article of manufacture of mixed reality based, biometrically signed reusable physical financial instrument
The present invention relates to a reusable physical financial instrument and a system and a method for enabling the financial instrument to perform multiple financial transactions. The financial instrument is capable of creating mixed reality experience when it comes in vicinity of the payor or payee device or ATM. Through the created mixed reality experience, the payor and the payee inputs payor-side and payee-side transaction and biometric data which are stored onto smart chip of the instrument and/or on Cloud Storage using cloud computing interface. The stored payor-side and payee-side transaction data are cross-validated and their biometric data is further verified against golden copy at the respective financial institutions or at the Central Authority's repositories for performing the financial transaction. Upon completing the transaction, the payor-side and the payee-side data is erased, deleted or invalidated from the smart chip, thus making the financial instrument reusable for performing another transaction.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AN AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINE TO ISSUE A SECURED BANK CARD
The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for an Automated Teller Machine to issue a secured bank card. An Automated Teller Machine to issue a secured bank card includes one or more memories storing instructions and one or more processors configured to execute instruction to perform operations. The operations include receiving a request for a secured bank card from a user, determining if the user is a current customer, obtaining bank card application information about the user, receiving additional information to confirm the identity of the user, determining if there are already existing accounts tied to the user, transmitting the bank card application information to a server associated with the card issuer, receiving card options the user is qualified for, presenting the card options and instructions to select a cash amount to be remitted, approving, upon receipt of the cash amount, issuance of the secured bank card, creating a unique account for the secured bank card, activating the secured bank card and associating it with the unique account, and dispensing the newly activated secured bank card.
Media replenishment management
A method of method of managing media replenishment at a media terminal, the method comprising: receiving a media event from a media terminal; retrieving a next scheduled media replenishment event for that media terminal; evaluating if the next scheduled media replenishment event is scheduled to occur within an acceptable delay period; and initiating an unscheduled replenishment event only if the next scheduled media replenishment event is scheduled to occur after the acceptable delay period.
MEDIUM STORAGE DEVICE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE MEDIUM STORAGE DEVICE
A medium storage device to which a transit cassette including a reject cassette part for storing a rejection medium and a medium cassette part for storing a medium is connectable, includes: a safe having an entrance for replenishment and recovery to which the transit cassette is selectively connected; an identification unit serving to identify whether a medium is a normal medium or the rejection medium; a recycle cassette configured to store the medium identified as the normal medium; a conveyance path configured to convey the medium between the entrance for replenishment and recovery, the identification unit and the recycle cassette; and a control unit configured to control the conveyance path such that the medium stored in the medium cassette part is conveyed to the identification unit, and the medium identified as the normal medium in the identification unit is conveyed to the recycle cassette.
