MEDIUM CONVEYANCE DEVICE AND MEDIUM TRANSACTION DEVICE
A medium conveyance device is provided including a placement body, a Scott-Russell body, a moving section, and a conveyance state switching section. The placement body includes a bundle conveyance face on which a medium bundle configured by stacking plural medium into a bundle shape is conveyed in a state placed on the bundle conveyance face. The Scott-Russell body includes an abutting portion that abuts the medium bundle. The movement section causes at least a portion of the Scott-Russell body to abut against the medium bundle and moves the Scott-Russell body along the bundle conveyance face in a first direction, or in a second direction opposite to the first direction, so as to move the medium bundle along the bundle conveyance face in the first direction or in the second direction. The conveyance state switching section utilizes the Scott-Russell body being moved by the movement section to switch to a first conveyance state in which at least a portion of the Scott-Russell body is caused to abut against the second direction side of the medium bundle and conveyance of the medium bundle toward the first direction is enabled, or to a second conveyance state in which at least a portion of the Scott-Russell body is caused to abut against the first direction side of the medium bundle and conveyance of the medium bundle toward the second direction is enabled.
Media sanitizing cassette and method of operation
A valuable media sanitizing/cleansing cassette is provided for sanitizing/cleansing surfaces of valuable media dispensed to a consumer during a dispense transaction at a transaction terminal. Dispensed media is urged from one or more media cassettes within the terminal along a transport path. The transport path is altered to pass the media through the sanitizing/cleansing cassette where the top and bottom surfaces of the media are illuminated with Ultraviolet (UV) radiation to eradicate any bacteria or virus that may be adhered to the top or the bottom surfaces of the media. Once the media passes through the sanitizing/cleansing cassette, the now sanitized/cleansed media is urged along a remainder of the transport path and dispensed from a media interface of the terminal to the consumer. In an embodiment, media deposited at the terminal is also sanitized/cleansed by passing through the sanitizing/cleansing cassette before being stored in the appropriate media cassettes.
SECURITY CONTAINER CASSETTE FOR BANKNOTES OR VALUES FOR ATM (AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINE)
A security container cassette for banknotes or values for Cash machines, ATM, and the like is provided, defining an internal volume and including: a first container arranged in the internal volume and close to an external portion of the security container cassette and banknotes and values, the first container having an internal volume separated from the external portion of the security container cassette by at least one separating wall, including passage windows or weakened upper portions, the first container being designed to contain marking fluid.
MODULAR CONSUMER FINANCIAL SERVICES AND TRANSACTION SYSTEMS
A modular system for financial services and transactions includes an enclosure with at least one wall defining an interior space. A spine is disposed within the interior space and houses at least one component. At least one sub-system is disposed in the interior space of the enclosure and connected to the at least one component housed in the spine. The at least one sub-system is operable to interact with a financial customer.
BANKNOTE PROCESSING DEVICE
A banknote handling apparatus (banknote depositing/dispensing apparatus 1) includes a transport unit (41), a storage unit (3), an upper housing (111) configured to house the transport unit, and a lower housing (protective housing 131) configured to house the storage unit. The upper housing has an opening (1111) which is formed through a surface thereof on one side in a horizontal direction, and the transport unit is configured to be drawn out of the upper housing toward the one side in the horizontal direction through the opening. The lower housing has an opening (1311) which is formed through a surface thereof on the other side in the horizontal direction, and is configured to be drawn out of the lower housing toward the other side in the horizontal direction through the opening.
CASH PROCESSING APPARATUS
A cash processing apparatus comprises a housing provided with a depositing and dispensing section; a display section; a coin insertion section at a position at one side of a central part in a width direction of the housing and into which the coin is inserted; a coin placing section in the housing and having a coin placing surface for temporarily placing the coin, connecting to the coin insertion section side by side and extend to an opposite side across the central part in the width direction of the housing from the coin insertion section to form a shape elongated in the width direction; and a settlement module, wherein both a distance between the coin insertion section and one side end of the housing which is closest to the coin insertion section and a distance between the coin placing section and the other side end of the housing which is closest to the coin placing section are smaller than a depth distance of the coin placing section.
LEAD THROUGH INDICATOR CIRCUIT CARD ASSEMBLY
In an example embodiment, there is disclosed herein an apparatus with a transceiver coupled with a bus; and a plurality of interfaces coupled with a plurality of lighting devices, and lead through indicator (LTI) logic coupled with the transceiver and the plurality of interfaces. The LTI logic is operable to receive a signal via the bus with data for operating a selected one of the plurality of lighting devices. The LTI logic determines an interface and a channel for the selected one of the plurality of lighting devices. The LTI logic send a signal to the selected one of the plurality of lighting devices on the connector and channel corresponding to the selected one of the plurality of lighting devices to operate the selected lighting device in accordance with the data for operating the selected one of the plurality of lighting devices.
ATM SECURITY APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE
A security device or apparatus for use with an ATM includes a pair of base assemblies selectively connected by a beam assembly. The beam assembly is designed to prevent access to one or more service doors of the ATM. In one version of the device the beam assembly includes a horizontally extending beam with vertically oriented posts extending from the beam. The device allows for the beam of the beam assembly to be moved from a locked position or state to an unlocked position or state. In the locked position access to the one or more service doors of the ATM is restricted or prevented, while in the unlocked position access to the one or more service doors of the ATM is permitted.
PARKING TERMINAL AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A PARKING TERMINAL
Proposed is a parking terminal (1), which encompasses a module (2), which integrates at least one component for operation of the parking terminal (1) and/or interaction between the parking terminal (1) and a vehicle passenger of a vehicle standing at the parking terminal (1) which, upon detection of a vehicle standing at the parking terminal (1), is reversibly moved out of the parking terminal (1) by a driving means for a prescribed distance in the direction of the standing vehicle.
Combination magnetic stripe and contactless chip card reader
A combination magnetic-stripe card reader with integrated contact-less chip card read/write functions, a direct replacement for a standard player tracking magnetic-stripe card reader installed in slot machines. It is a form, fit and function for existing player tracking readers, having the same front panel appearance, the same physical envelope, using the same mounting method, using the same cable connections and operating in the identical manner. The combined functions requires two command sets and a method to distinguish between them, the legacy command set of the existing reader to be replaced which is typically strings of American Standard Code for Information Interchange (ASCII) eight bit characters with a line terminator character and the contact-less chip card requiring the ability to send and receive all possible eight bit values with varying length commands and not having a dedicated character value to indicate the end of a command.
