Order registration device, order registration method, and recording medium
An order registration device includes: a processor configured to execute a process that includes: a number-of-people registration process for registering the number of customers related to one transaction; a product registration process for registering a product ordered by the customers; and a display control process for performing control such that a display unit displays a number-of-people button which is a button for inputting the number of orders with respect to the product registered in the product registration process, the same number as the number of customers registered in the number-of-people registration process being set as the number of orders by the number-of-people button.
AUTOMATED SHOPPING CART
Technologies are shown for automatically registering items in an automated physical shopping cart involving receiving image data for items in the cart, detecting a change in a weight of items in the cart and, determining whether a correlated item was identified in the image data. If no correlated item was identified, a message is displayed indicating that no correlated item was detected and a user can be prompted. A user device may be used to scan items and display messages for the cart. Items may be scanned using image recognition to determine item information. An item weight may be determined based on the change in the weight of items in the cart and priced accordingly to weight. A notification for an item in the cart may be provided to an inventory or a shopping list application indicating that the correlated item was added to the cart.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR UPDATING ELECTRONIC LABELS BASED ON PRODUCT POSITION
A price monitoring system includes a memory and a processor configured to: determine, by the price monitoring system, an identity of a determined product positioned a particular location based on image information regarding the determined product, compare, by the price monitoring system, the identity of the determined product positioned at the particular location to an identity of an assigned product assigned to that particular location, determine, based on the comparison, that the identity of the determined product positioned at the particular location does not match the identity of the assigned product assigned to that particular location, retrieve product information for the determined product positioned at the particular location from a product database, transmit instructions configured to command an electronic product label at the particular location to display the product information for the determined product positioned at the particular location.
PAYMENT APPARATUS AND RECEIPT DATA CREATION METHOD
According to an embodiment, a payment apparatus stores, where deposit data is stored in a transaction memory, cash payment data including a cash payment amount used to pay a total amount of a deposit amount included in the deposit data, in the transaction memory. The payment apparatus creates, on the basis of information regarding a transaction stored in the transaction memory, receipt data including information regarding the total amount and the cash payment amount.

System and method of setting and charging a fixed donation amount
A system and method of setting and charging a fixed donation amount provides a convenient contactless payment for donations. The system includes at least one portable donation terminal and at least one administrator personal computing (PC) device. The portable donation terminal is communicably coupled to the administrator PC device. An administrator may be a cashier, a clerk, a clergy member, and so on. The method begins by outputting a fixed charging amount with the portable donation terminal. Donation information is received through the portable donation terminal. The donation information is processed for the fixed charging amount. An administrator is prompted to generate a receipt of the fixed charging amount for the donation information. At least one remote server may also be communicably coupled to the administrator PC device in order to provide a reference identifier for the receipt. The receipt is outputted with the administrator PC device.

ELECTRONIC RECEIPT SYSTEM, RECEIPT PROCESSING DEVICE, RECEIPT PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM STORAGE MEDIUM
A receipt processing device includes a determination unit, a digitization unit, and a transmission unit. The determination unit is configured to determine whether receipt data generated by a receipt generation unit is receipt data of a transaction receipt indicating contents of a commercial transaction or receipt data of a non-transaction receipt indicating contents of a non-commercial transaction. The digitization unit is configured to digitize, if the receipt data is receipt data of the transaction receipt, the receipt data with an addition of first classification information and digitize, if the receipt data is receipt data of the non-transaction receipt, the receipt data with an addition of second classification information different from the first classification information. The transmission unit is configured to transmit the receipt data digitized by the digitization unit to a server.
FOLDABLE SALES TERMINAL
A foldable sales terminal includes at least one sale operation interface and a mainframe module. The sale operation interface is a flat panel, and the outward surface thereof is provided with a touch display panel. The sale operation interface is connected to the mainframe module via a pivot connection portion. The mainframe module is provided with a mainboard disposed therein and one side, away from the pivot connection portion, of the mainframe module has an output/input connection port, so that the sale operation interface and the mainframe module can rotate relative to each other to change the angle therebetween, allow the sale operation interface fold to cover inward the mainframe or open outwards far away from the mainframe. The design is simple and effective, such that the sales terminal can be folded to reduce the volume thereof for conveniently packaging, storing, carrying, and transporting the sales terminal.
