TRACKING MOVEMENTS OF ENROLLED PERIPHERAL DEVICES
A peripheral device is tracked between connections to host devices. A peripheral driver is dynamically configured and associated with a peripheral of a host device. A current association between the peripheral device and a current host device is maintained for purposes of providing the peripheral driver of the peripheral device on the current host device to remotely executing applications. The association is dynamically changed/updated based on a connection between the peripheral device and a given host device.
Graphical user interface and operator console management system for distributed terminal network
A graphical user interface (GUI) and operator console management system for a distributed terminal network is described. In some embodiments, the terminals may be hardware terminals, kiosks, or clients. In some embodiments, a security analysis may be performed, and security scores may be determined, for visitors requesting operations at terminals based on an operator configuration. Security scores may be determined by a provider, in communication with the operator terminals, based on aggregation of a plurality of factors, wherein each factor may be weighted. The factors may incorporate operator settings or preferences. In one embodiment, the factors include one or more facial recognition factors. The one or more facial recognition factors may be used for biometric authentication. The provider may use the security scores to determine user privileges or permissions for the operations. The provider may deliver instructions or messages to the terminals based on the determinations.
CO-PROCESSING UNITS BASED FISCAL CONTROL UNIT
A fiscal control unit system may include a central processor unit that includes a first processing unit and a second processing unit that operates independently of the first processing unit, and isolated from the first processing unit. A buffer module may operate within the first processing unit to provide communication with a fiscal control server and an electronic transaction register and wherein the buffer module may receive transaction registrations from the electronic transaction register. A signing module may operate within the second processing unit, to communicate with the buffer module, and to provide a cryptographic record of transaction registrations received by the buffer module.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FACILITATING LOAD CASH TRANSACTIONS WITH A DEBIT CARD AT A POINT OF SALE SYSTEM
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are provided herein for facilitating financial services through point of sale (POS) systems. A system for facilitating financial services comprises a retail central computer system and a POS system. The POS system is configured to receive an input to switch from a retail mode to a financial services mode, receive, from the card reader, debit card information from a debit card associated with an account of a customer, transmit the debit card information and the cash amount to the retail central computer system, and remove the debit card information from a memory of the POS system. The retail central computer system is configured to encrypt the debit card information received from the POS system, generate a load cash request message, and remove the debit card information from the memory device after encrypting the debit card information.
Checkout system
A registration apparatus stores input data. The registration apparatus outputs the stored data. A checkout apparatus receives an input relating to payment for a commodity before data input of all commodities purchased by a customer at the registration apparatus is terminated. The checkout apparatus stores data relating to the received input. The checkout apparatus generates transaction data indicating a content of one transaction based on the stored data and the data output from the registration apparatus and issues a receipt.

System and Method for Point of Sale Transaction Logging
The present disclosure generally relates to a method and a hardware and software system for collecting data from retail point of sale. The hardware connects to a wide variety of barcode scanners and receipt printers. Collected data is transmitted to a cloud-based infrastructure backend system using a wireless internet connection built into the hardware. The collected data can be processed to extract item-level transaction information, and estimate the price and in-stock status of items in particular shops. A search engine can be provided using this data, which allows a customer to discover which nearby shop has an item of interest in stock. A targeted advertising system that complements this search service is also presented. The data can be used by retailers and manufacturers for business analysis and optimization.

SELF-CHECKOUT STORE
A method operates a sales device for goods. The method includes: detecting, using a shelf with automatic removal monitoring, a removed item and determining item data of the removed item; reading out a customer identification number of a customer in a vicinity of the shelf from which the removed item has been removed; receiving, by a controller, the item data of the removed item and the customer identification number; adding, with the controller, the item data of the removed item and the customer identification number to a list of items intended for payment; and detecting, with a detector, items for which a payment transaction is to be executed. The detector has at least one sensor and an evaluator and for detecting articles, at least the data of the sensor and the list of items intended for payment are being made available to the evaluator as input variables.
