METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A HEATABLE MEDIA LINE
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a heatable media line (100), in particular for conducting and simultaneously reheating brewing water or a freshly brewed hot beverage (1) in a hot-beverage dispensing machine (1000). According to the invention, along a hose line (2), at least one heat transfer foil which homogenizes the heat transfer via the hose line surface and which is composed of a material with a thermal conductivity at 0° C. of λ>10 W/mK, preferably λ>50 W/mK, is wound onto the outside, and an electrical heating medium is applied to the heat transfer foil, which electrical heating medium serves for heating the hose line surface.
BEVERAGE PREPARATION MACHINE AND COOLING MODULE
A beverage preparation machine has a cooling module (70) for cooling a liquid beverage ingredient. The module comprises a heat exchanger (72) having a liquid conduit (74) and a thermal energy accumulator (80) comprising a phase change material (PCM) (82) thermally coupled to the heat exchanger. A heat pump (78) is thermally coupled to the heat exchanger discretely from the thermal energy accumulator so as to extract thermal energy from a liquid flowing through the liquid conduit in preference over the PCM. More than one thermal energy accumulator (80) may be coupled to the heat exchanger. The beverage preparation machine may have a flow-through heater for heating a liquid beverage ingredient.

The present invention discloses a refrigerator, comprising a cabinet, a door and a water dispenser, wherein the water dispenser comprises a water tank, a drain path, a beverage making chamber and a dispenser, the beverage making chamber is communicated with the dispenser, the water dispenser further comprises an integration module provided between the water tank and the beverage making chamber, and the integration module comprises any one, two or all of the flow meter, the water pump and the heater. The refrigerator with the integration module may heat, pressurize the beverage and/or adjust the concentration of the beverage when the beverage is prepared, so that the user may make beverages of various flavors as required, and the diversification of drinking functions of the refrigerator is realized.

Coffee machine (1) for preparation of a hot beverage with a heating system for dynamic thermal management, comprising a housing frame (2), in which are accommodated a water module (100) for providing brewing water, which comprises a first heating device (120), having a boiler (121) with a fresh water inlet (12) and with a first heating element (123) for providing water heated to a first temperature T.sub.1 and a brewing module (200), whereby the brewing module (200) comprises a brewing device (220) for brewing a predefined amount of coffee with brewing water and a dispensing unit (230) for dispensing brewed coffee, as well as, disposed in a brewing water feed line (260), a second heating device (250), to heat the water heated to the first temperature T.sub.1 to a second temperature T.sub.2. The coffee machine provides for the second heating device (250) accommodated in the brewing module (200) being a thick film heater (252) designed as continuous flow heater.
Hot beverage preparation apparatus comprising a continuous flow heater
In order to reduce limescale formation on the continuous flow heater during operation of an apparatus for preparing freshly brewed hot beverages which has a hot water generator, which is embodied as a continuous flow heater, and a brewing apparatus, to which hot water from the hot water generator can be supplied, a controller for actuating the continuous flow heater is provided, which controller switches on the continuous flow heater for the purpose of drawing a pre-specified quantity of hot water and switches off said continuous flow heater shortly before the quantity of hot water is completely output, so that the temperature of the hot water at the output of the continuous flow heater is declining at the end of the drawing operation.
AIR PREHEATING OF BREW CHAMBER
A beverage machine having a heater arranged to receive unheated liquid and deliver heated liquid to a dispensing station to form a beverage, and to receive unheated air and deliver heated air to the dispensing station to preheat portions of the dispensing station before forming a beverage. The machine may be arranged to deliver heated air to the dispensing station only if a temperature at the dispensing station is below a threshold.
APPARATUS FOR PREPARING A BEVERAGE
An apparatus for preparing a beverage from a capsule containing particulate beverage precursor material includes a capsule reception location, a beverage infusion chamber, a puncturing device, a channel, an infusion liquid supply, an infusion liquid flow path, and a device. The capsule reception location is configured to receive the capsule. The beverage infusion chamber has a chamber inlet and a chamber outlet. The puncturing device is configured to puncture the capsule to create a capsule inlet and a capsule outlet. The channel connects the capsule reception location to the beverage infusion chamber. The infusion liquid flow path connects the infusion liquid supply to the chamber inlet of the beverage infusion chamber. The device directs a flowing gas stream into the capsule through the capsule inlet and out of the capsule outlet.
Multi-phase circuit flow-through heater for aerospace beverage maker
In an illustrative embodiment, a flow-through fluid heating unit includes an annular member, and a heating element deposited on an inner surface of the annular member, the heating element including three sub-heating elements, each sub-heating element being connected to a separate conduit for receiving a separate phase of a three phase electrical power source. The heating unit may include a baffle core including at least one channel providing a fluid flow path, the baffle core being disposed within the annular member and proximate to the heating element. First and second end fittings may be disposed at each end of the annular member, each end fitting including a fluid port for allowing the fluid to flow through the annular member. One of the end fittings may be releasably connected to the annular member to provide access for removal of the baffle core.
Coffee machine with dynamic flow and temperature control
A coffee machine is provided. The coffee machine may include an electronic control module configured to receive at least one flow set point and at least one temperature set point. The coffee machine may further include a portafilter, a group head configured to receive the portafilter, and at least one water line configured to supply water. The coffee machine may further include at least one syringe pump configured to pressurize the water to attain the at least one flow set point. The coffee machine may further include an in-line heating element configured to control temperature of the water according to the at least one temperature set point. The coffee machine may further include a feedback loop configured to provide the temperature to the electronic control module to enable selectively adjusting the temperature.
APPARATUS FOR DISPENSING A LIQUID FOODSTUFF AND METHOD FOR OPERATING SAID APPARATUS
An apparatus for dispensing a liquid foodstuff, in particular milk, includes a heating device for heating the liquid foodstuff, which has a fluid path for the liquid foodstuff and an electric heater. The fluid path and heater are in thermal contact with a heat store made from a material of high thermal mass and conductivity, and the heat store is brought by the heater to an operating temperature which lies below 80° C., preferably below 70° C. The fluid path is connectable via at least one directional control valve to a flushing line via which water and/or detergent can be conducted through the fluid path for cleaning purposes. A control device is provided that is configured to heat the heat store of the heating device to a temperature above 100° C. to carry out thermal regeneration, and to open the directional control device one or more times for conducting water or detergent solution through the fluid path of the heating device heated to a high temperature.
