An alert communication device, an alert activation device, and an alert management system are provided. The alert management system may include one or more alert communication devices communicatively coupled to one or more other alert communication devices and configured to provide one or more of a visual alert and an audio alert and one or more alert activation devices communicatively coupled to at least one alert communication device of the one or more alert communication devices.

INTERFACES FOR RESOLVING MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES
20200226556 · 2020-07-16 ·

Systems, methods, and devices for interfaces for resolving maintenance activities are described herein. For example, one or more embodiments include receiving an indication of a fault associated with an equipment item of a budding, providing an interface via a display, wherein the interface includes a first portion configured to provide information associated with the fault based on the data, a second portion configured to provide navigation to the building, a third portion configured to provide navigation within the building to the equipment item, and a fourth portion configured to display an augmented reality visualization of the equipment item.

Detection of failing emissions sensors

An emissions sensor health monitor can acquire nitrogen oxide (NOx)-in values measured by an input emissions sensor of the machine and NOx-out values measured by an output emissions sensor of the machine. The emissions sensor health monitor can identify samples of the machine channel data that meet criteria associated with an idle operating condition of an engine of the machine, and determine NOx delta values for the samples. The emissions sensor health monitor can determine that the NOx delta values are above a preset acceptable threshold for at least a threshold time period, and in response perform one or more responsive actions.

VIDEO-BASED FALL RISK ASSESSMENT SYSTEM

Various embodiments of a video-based fall risk assessment system are disclosed. During operation, this fall risk assessment system can receives a sequence of video frames including a person being monitored for fall risk assessment. The system next generates a sequence of action labels for the sequence of video frames by, for each video frame in the sequence of video frames: estimating a pose of the person within the video frame; and classifying the estimated pose as a given action among a set of predetermined actions. Next, the system identifies a subset of action labels within the sequence of action labels. The system next extracts a set of gait features for the person from a subset of video frames within the sequence of video frames corresponding to the subset of action labels. Subsequently, the system analyzes the set of extracted gait features to generate a fall risk assessment for the person. In some embodiments, the sequence of video frames is captured during a predetermined time period, such as an hour, a day, or a week.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PRIVACY-PRESERVING FALL DETECTION

Various embodiments of a vision-based privacy-preserving embedded fall-detection system are disclosed. This embedded fall-detection system can include one or more cameras for capturing video images of one or more persons. Moreover, this embedded fall-detection system can include various fall-detection modules for processing the captured video images including: a pose-estimation module, an action-recognition module, and a fall-detection module, all of which can perform the intended fall-detection functionalities within the embedded system environment in real-time in order to detect falls of the one or more persons. When a fall is detected, instead of sending the original captured images, the embedded fall-detection system can transmit sanitized video images to the server, wherein each detected person is represented by a skeleton figure in place of the actual person images, thereby preserving the privacy of the detected person. The embedded fall-detection system can be implemented as an embedded vision sensor to be installed at a single fixed location.

CALL SYSTEM FOR PATIENT
20200194118 · 2020-06-18 ·

The present disclosure discloses a call system for a patient. The call system for the patient comprises a head-mounted device, a head motion detection module, an eyelid blinking detection module, a patient display screen, and a nurse station display screen. The head motion detection module collects relative changes of a head position through an aerial attitude sensor. The eyelid blinking detection module collects a movement distance and a movement duration of an eyelid through a photoelectric motion sensor. When the movement distance of the eyelid reaches a preset distance and the movement duration of the eyelid is longer than a preset duration, a confirmation command is generated to select one of multiple call services in a scroll menu, and the one of the multiple call services selected by the patient is sent to the nurse station display screen by a wired network or a wireless network.

Patient device for advanced patient communication

A provider device for advanced patient communication and methods for making and using same. According to one embodiment, a provider device comprises a receiver for receiving one or more messages from a central processing server, each of the one or more messages reflecting a patient request, an urgency level associated with the patient request, one or more action items associated with the patient request, and a lapse in time since receiving the patient request. The provider device also includes a display for displaying, based on the one or more messages, a patient listing including status information corresponding to one or more patients.

SECURING DATA PRESENTED DURING VIDEOCONFERENCING

A method includes: determining, by a videoconference server, a level of tolerated risk for a videoconference between a presenter and an attendee; obtaining, by the videoconference server, sensor data from at least one sensor at a location where a user device of the attendee displays the videoconference; generating, by the videoconference server, a current risk score based on the sensor data; determining, by the videoconference server, the current risk score exceeds the level of tolerated risk; and presenting, by the videoconference server and in response to the determining the current risk score exceeds the level of tolerated risk, an alert to the presenter of the videoconference.

Information sending method and information sending apparatus
10652185 · 2020-05-12 · ·

An information sending method and an information sending apparatus are provided, which relate to the field of wireless communication technologies. A method includes acquiring state information of a receiver device; and determining a sending policy of to-be-sent information according to the state information. According to a method and apparatus in embodiments of the present application, a sending policy is determined according to state information of a receiver device, so that a receiver acquires information as much as it does not change a current state, thereby improving user experience of the receiver.
