20220283290 · 2022-09-08 · ·

The present invention relates to an outdoor intrusion detection system including a transmitter transmitting microwaves and diffused infrared light, a receiver receiving microwaves and diffused infrared light transmitted from the transmitter so as to detect whether there is an intrusion or not, and avoid a false alarm triggered due to weather conditions and a small object.

Personal Safety Headband

Apparatus and method for proactively alerting the user of potential threats and taking preventive actions to deter the intruder. The apparatus tracks the rear surrounding of the user and automatically detects potential threats in the form of unwanted advances by the strangers by tracking the safety zone around the user. The apparatus then alerts the user and the intruder by giving audio and/or visual signals. The warning alert switches to an emergency alert should the intruder continue advancing towards the user. Law enforcement and user's contacts are automatically dialed as part of the emergency protocol. Such footage also gets recorded for use by the law enforcement agency. This is the first apparatus that does automatic real time monitoring and performs preventative actions.

Logistics appliance and anti-disassembly method therefor

The present application relates to the field of logistics, discloses an anti-disassembly logistics appliance and anti-disassembly method therefor, realizing the anti-disassembly alarm of a designated module under the premise of simple structure and low power consumption. An anti-disassembly logistics appliance, comprising: a confined space and an anti-disassembly module disposed in the confined space; the anti-disassembly module comprises: one or more photoelectric devices, a wireless communication unit and a determining unit; the determining unit is configured to determine whether an electrical signal output by the photoelectric device is greater than a preset threshold, and if so, triggers the wireless communication unit to transmit an alarm signal; the structure of the confined space satisfies following requirements: the confined space is an light-tight dark space after the anti-disassembly module is installed; during the process of disassembling the anti-disassembly module from the logistics appliance, the light-tightness of the confined space is at least temporarily destroyed to enable the optoelectronic device to detect light.

Method and apparatus for defining a detection zone

A method of calibrating a sensor (200) for a security system, the method comprising: switching the sensor (200) to a zone calibration mode for configuring the sensor (200) to operate with a detection zone; detecting a moveable object (202) moving along a border of the detection zone, wherein the sensor (200) detects the position of the moveable object (202) as the moveable object (202) moves along the border of the detection zone; calculating zone calibration data for the detection zone based on the detected positions of the moveable object (202); and configuring the sensor (200) to operate using the calculated zone calibration data.

SELECTIVE INTRUSION DETECTION SYSTEMS

A selective intrusion detection system includes a Doppler transceiver configured and adapted to receive Doppler return signals indicative of moving targets present in a surveillance space. A processor is operatively connected to the Doppler transceiver to convert Doppler return signals into spectrograms and to determine whether any given spectrogram is indicative of presence of a human or another moving target, like a domestic pet. An alarm is operatively connected to the processor, wherein the processor and alarm are configured to provide an alert in the event the processor determines any given spectrogram is indicative of a human, and to forego providing an alert in the event the processor determines any given spectrogram is indicative of another moving target only.

Presence detection and uses thereof

A computer-implemented method comprises detecting, with a presence detector such as a radar device, a presence of a person at a location such as an ATM vestibule. In response thereto, a timer is initiated. After initiating the timer, a portal sensor is used to detect a change in a status of a portal permitting access to the location. In response thereto, the timer is adjusted (for example the timer is reset). Thus, multiple consecutive normal usages of the vestibule do not unnecessarily trigger an alarm.
