Assigned spacing to visual separation auto transition
A system and method for an ownship aircraft auto transition from an assigned spacing application to a visual separation application provides the ability to intuitively pre-configure for and execute an automatic transition from an assigned spacing traffic application managing an assigned interval spacing to a traffic application managing visual separation from an assigned target aircraft. This feature enables integration between separate traffic applications, creating new capabilities while reducing the workload on the pilot during a particularly busy phase of flight.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUTONOMOUS FLIGHT COLLISION AVOIDANCE IN AN ELECTRIC AIRCRAFT
A system for autonomous flight collision avoidance in ana electric aircraft, where the system includes an electric aircraft. The electric aircraft includes a at least a sensor coupled to the electric aircraft, where the at least a sensor coupled to the aircraft is configured to detect an obstacle in the electric aircraft's flight path and transmit the obstacle to a flight controller. The electric aircraft also includes a flight controller where the flight controller is configured to receive the obstacle from the at least a sensor coupled to the electric aircraft, determine an adjusted flight path as a function of the obstacle, and transmit the adjusted flight path to a pilot display. The system further includes a pilot display, where the pilot display is configured to receive the adjusted flight path form the flight controller and display the adjusted flight path to a user.
OPTIMIZED WEATHER AND THREAT DEPICTION BASED ON AIRCRAFT FLIGHT PLAN
A weather depiction system for an aircraft is disclosed. A radar is configured to scan a surrounding environment of the aircraft and provide weather data. An aircraft computing device is configured to: detect weather patterns using the weather data, receive a flight trajectory of the aircraft from a flight management system (FMS), compare the flight trajectory to an altitude of each of the weather patterns, identify the weather pattern as relevant or non-relevant based on the comparison, and present symbols corresponding to the relevant weather patterns on the weather display and exclude symbols corresponding to the non-relevant weather patterns on the weather display.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ENHANCING DATALINK OPERATION
A flight deck system and method in an aircraft for enhancing controller pilot datalink communication (CPDLC) operation is disclosed. The flight deck system includes a controller configured to: receive a CPDLC message having a CPDLC message type from a flight operation center (FOC) having an FOC name; retrieve an expected response time for the CPDLC message from an expected response time database containing expected response times for a plurality of CPDLC message types for FOCs; generate a timer function that causes the display of a timer (e.g., countdown timer) on an aircraft display device that has a set duration based on the expected response time; signal the aircraft display device to display the timer; monitor communications from flight crew for a response to the CPDLC message; and signal the aircraft display device to end the display of the timer when a communication has been detected within the set duration.
Flight assistant
A system and apparatus for assisting in determining the best course of action at any point inflight for an emergency. The system may monitor a plurality of parameters including atmospheric conditions along the flight path, ground conditions and terrain, conditions aboard the aircraft, and pilot/crew data. Based on these parameters, the system may provide continually updated information about the best available landing sites or recommend solutions to aircraft configuration errors. In case of emergency, the system may provide a pilot with a procedure for execution for landing the aircraft.
Smart aviation dynamic cookie
An information manager may include processing circuitry configured to receive dynamic aircraft information associated with operation of an in-flight aircraft, receive a message from a communication device on the in-flight aircraft for transmission to a ground based content server via a wireless communication network capable of communicating with in-flight assets, and generate an aviation cookie for communication to the content server along with the message. The aviation cookie may be generated based on the dynamic aircraft information and may enable the content server to generate content based at least in part on the dynamic aircraft information.
Electronic exocentric symbol display device and associated display method and computer program product
The invention relates to an electronic display device on board an aircraft capable of landing or maintaining a hover above a landing zone and comprising: a module for calculating a distance between the aircraft and the landing zone according to a horizontal direction and for determining a height of the aircraft; and a module for displaying an exocentric aircraft symbol, positioned at a distance said exocentric from the aircraft according to an exocentric direction and at a height difference said exocentric relative to the aircraft, the display module being further configured to display an exocentric landing zone symbol, positioned at a distance from the landing zone equal to the exocentric distance according to the exocentric direction and at the same height as the exocentric aircraft symbol.
Architecture for monitoring at least one aircraft and associated monitoring method
An architecture for monitoring at least one aircraft. The architecture comprises an avionics system configured to generate avionics data during use of the aircraft; a mobile electronic device including an analysis unit configured to convert at least one maintenance operation into operational data; and an alerter configured to display at least one item of monitoring information; and a cloud computing infrastructure. The analysis unit and the alerter are configured to implement a local operating mode and an operating mode connected to the cloud computing infrastructure.
Data collection method, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and storage medium
The present invention discloses a data collection method, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and a storage medium. The method is used for a vision chip of the UAV, the vision chip including a main operating system and a real-time operating system, and the method includes: generating, by the real-time operating system, a trigger signal; collecting, by the real-time operating system based on the trigger signal, flight control data of the UAV and controlling an image sensor to collect an image sequence; synchronizing, by the real-time operating system, a time of the main operating system with a time of the real-time operating system; and performing, by the main operating system, visual processing on the flight control data and the image sequence, to ensure that the flight control data and the image sequence are collected synchronously. By using the method, accuracy of data collected during controlling of the UAV can be improved.
TRANSCRIPTION SYSTEMS AND MESSAGE FUSION METHODS
Methods and systems are provided for assisting operation of a vehicle using speech recognition and transcription to provide a conversation log graphical user interface (GUI) display that consolidates communications with respect to the vehicle. One method involves receiving a data message from a system onboard the vehicle and generating a graphical representation of the data message within the conversation log GUI display, wherein the graphical representation of the data message includes a selectable element and is displayed on the conversation log GUI display concurrently with a graphical representation of a transcription of an audio communication with respect to the vehicle. The depicted data message and transcription are chronologically positioned with respect to one another in accordance with a timestamp associated with the data message. The conversation log GUI display dynamically updates in response to selection of the selectable element.
