Cooktop appliance

A cooktop appliance includes a plurality of gas burners positioned at an outer surface of a panel. A griddle plate may be positioned over at least one gas burner of the plurality of gas burners. An electric heating element is mounted to the griddle plate. A socket on the panel may receive a plug of the electric heating element. A switch configured for obstructing gas fuel flow to the at least one gas burner of the plurality of gas burners when the griddle plate is positioned over the at least one gas burner of the plurality of gas burners.

Grill and/or frying plate for the use on cooking hobs

A grill and/or frying plate for use on an induction cooking hob, including at least one grill section and at least one section different from the grill section, in particular a frame section or a warming section. When the grill and/or frying plate is mounted to the cooking hob, the at least one grill section is at least partially arranged directly above at least one heating element of the cooking hob and that the at least one section different from the grill section is at least partially arranged in a position where no heating element is arranged below. A recess and/or a securing recess and/or a fixation groove are arranged in a region that delimits the grill section from the section different from the grill section, in such a way that the heat transfer from the grill section to the section different from the grill section is reduced.

GRILLING OVEN

The present invention discloses a grilling oven comprising an oven body and a grilling chamber encircled by the oven body; an electrical heating device, a grilling grid and a fat catching plate are provided in the grilling chamber; the electrical heating device is located at the top of the grilling chamber; the fat catching plate is located at the bottom of the grilling chamber; the grilling grid is located between the electrical heating device and the fat catching plate; the grilling grid and the fat catching plate both are horizontally placed. During a grilling process, the fat of grilled meat is prevented from dripping downwards onto a heat source of the grilling oven, so that no cancerogenic substance is produced thereby or condensed on the grilled meat, thus making the grilling process more environmental and healthy, and the grilled meat safe to eat.

Electric grill with current protection circuitry

Provided is an apparatus and method for protecting against unsafe electric current conditions. A protections circuit may be used in a device, such as an electric grill, that has one or more electric loads, such as heating elements. The protection circuit may protect against various failure scenarios, including, without limitation, instances of ground fault, over current, driver failure, and failure of a microprocessor. In response to a failure, the protection circuit may trip a latch relay or disable a triac driver to stop current from flowing.

Method of Roasting a Cooking Product and Cooking Appliance

A cooking appliance on a contact heating surface of which a cooking product is roasted, provides that after placing a cooking product to be roasted onto the contact heating surface, the cooking product is recognized by an electronic detection device using a sensor system, and an automatic signaling that the cooking product needs to be moved, for example needs to be turned, is given to an operator after the automatic cooking.

INDUCTION GRIDDLES

The invention relates to a cooking system utilizing a single-zone or multi-zone induction-based griddle that provides uniform heat across a cooking surface. The system provides a larger cooking surface, a shorter warmup time, and a more targeted heating with a more uniform temperature distribution. A multi-layer cooking surface may converting a magnetic field into a thermal field by employing ferritic stainless steels, e.g., in an upper and lower layer. A middle layer(s) enhances heat transfer towards the entire cooking surface and stores a proper amount of heat inertia in the system. The middle layer, e.g., of aluminum, copper, or carbon-based materials may be separated into zones separated by cavities filled with insulation materials. The system may be utilized for indoor or outdoor grills.
