In one embodiment, an oral care system may include a toothbrush comprising a physical property, and a programmable processor configured to receive physical property data indicative of the physical property of the toothbrush. The programmable processor may be further configured to determine, based at least in part upon the received physical property data, a suggested brushing routine for a user and/or an evaluation of a brushing session of a user

A model tooth, that is constructed with multiple layers of material. The object is designed for a particular procedure, such as removal of material to repair a cavity. The 3D area to be removed is provided in a first color, the area bordering the material to be removed is provided in a second color and the area on past the border is provided in a third color. Advantageously, upon performance of a procedure, the object can be visually inspected to determine if all of the first color material is removed, without over removing the material of the second color.

The inventive concept is a dental hygiene toy kit assembly and method that includes a polymer doll member with a jaw member pivotally coupled at a distal end of the jaw member to a lower portion of the doll's head designed to be opened and closed. When open, the jaw member exposes a lower row of protruding teeth members, an upper row of protruding teeth members, and a tongue member disposed on an upper portion of the jaw member interior to the head assembly. A toothbrush, tongue scraper, and flosser, each with a widened handle, is included to perform cleaning operations on the teeth and tongue members. A substantially cuboid, divided housing assembly is designed to be in an open or close state, a foldable, toy dental chair in an unfolded state configured to seat the doll member when the housing assembly is in an open state.

Embodiments of architecture, systems, and methods that enable, e.g., a patient to receive services from a dental service provider and a service provider to interact with and provide services to a patient. Determinations may be made concerning suitability of a service request for remote service, as well as queueing prioritization of a remote service request, based on factors such as: information concerning the service request, patient responses to queries, patient profile information, and patient service history. Exemplary implementations may: effectuate presentation of audio content via an audio output device, the audio content being characterized by an audio profile; obtain output signals from one or more sensors coupled to a user device, the output signals conveying user input information, the user input information defining user input by a user via the user device; determine, based on the user input information, a user profile, the user profile including one or more user values of the one or more audio attribute; compare the user profile with the audio profile to determine, for individual audio attributes, one or more differences; determine one or more scores reflecting the one or more differences; and/or perform other operations.

A method for providing a uniquely mapped dental health service package to a user by providing uniquely mapped dental information of the user on a digital device. The method includes creating a dental health service package comprising a dental scheme for an individual user, the dental health service package being uniquely mapped for a set of teeth of the individual user, wherein the dental health service package comprises electronically encoded information regarding the set of teeth of the individual user, storing the uniquely mapped dental health service package in a memory, accessing the memory using a digital device, obtaining the uniquely mapped dental health service package of the user by the digital device, and providing to the user the uniquely mapped dental health service package of the user. A dental hygiene device including a case and a closure. The case includes first and second half-shells hingedly coupled to one another and actuable between open and closed configurations. The closure engages the case when the case is in the closed configuration to thereby secure the case in the closed configuration. The first half-shell may be divided into first and second compartments by a first divider wall. The first divider wall may include first and second notches formed therein and configured to accommodate a toothbrush and a toothpaste container, respectively. The second half-shell may be divided into third and fourth compartments by a second divider wall. When the case is in the closed configuration, the first compartment may be contiguous with at least part of the third compartment, and the second compartment may be contiguous with at least part of the third and fourth compartments.

Various operational mode arrangements of an electric toothbrush (10) include pre-programming a controller portion (16) of the electric toothbrush such that a single brushing event of approximately two minutes comprises automatically at least two different operating modes and specified times for each mode. Another operational mode includes the capability of operating the on/off button (20) of the toothbrush within a specified short time following termination of a normal brushing event to provide the user a specified additional time, e.g. 30 seconds of toothbrush action. A special toothbrush interface arrangement includes a display (80) which encourages children to maintain brushing for the full brushing period. This is accomplished through sequential illustration of the progress of an article from an initial state to a final desired state as the toothbrush is used for increasing portions of a full brushing time period. In another embodiment, a toothbrush (120) includes a capability of adjusting the performance/operating characteristics in accordance with the age of a child user.

In one embodiment, the invention can be an oral care system that includes a toothbrush; a user interface configured to receive a brushing goal from a user; and a programmable processor operably coupled to the user interface. The programmable processor can be configured to receive brushing goal data indicative of the brushing goal received by the user interface; and determine, based at least in part on the brushing goal data, a suggested brushing routine and a brushing evaluation for a brushing session.
