Additionally, the meat smoker device also includes a fuel container having a container rim and being located within the chamber cavity proximate the slot bottom and an ignition article having an ignition article handle, an ignition article mounting structure and a heating element, wherein the ignition article handle includes a handle portion movably located within the sidewall slot and wherein the ignition article mounting structure is configured to mountingly engage with the first and second mounting hole, such that the ignition article is configurable between a first and second configuration.

At least one aspect relates to a grill. The grill includes a first base, a first sidewall extending from the first base, a second base, a second sidewall that extends from the second base, a cavity formed by the first sidewall and the second sidewall above the first base and the second base, a rail receiver attached to at least one of the first base or the second base and opposite the cavity, a rail, a plurality of legs attached to at least one of the first base or the second base and opposite the cavity, and at least one pole attached to a first leg of the plurality of legs. When a force is applied, the second base receives the first base along a base axis, the second sidewall receives the first sidewall along a sidewall axis, and the rail receiver receives the rail along a rail axis.

The disclosed technology addresses durability issues with structures that are to be used in environments that are hostile to the materials used to construct such structures. One example is a structure configured to house a grilling element and configured to be used in an outdoor grilling environment. The Materials used define an overall low oxide structure that is also resistant to structural damage by life forms such as insects. The structure further provides adjustable firebox features and a venting system to make the structure more universal than prior art devices with regard to regulatory venting requirements. The disclosed technology also provides for electronic monitoring.

A portable outdoor grill and method for cooking in windy outdoor environments protects food on a grill grate from wind-blown debris by retaining the grill grate at an offset position away from a rim that forms at an open grill end of the portable outdoor grill. The food is circumferentially surrounded by the sidewalls at the grill end of the portable outdoor grill. The heat fuel is circumferentially surrounded by the sidewalls at the base end of the grill. Multiple fastening apertures and grate support fasteners enable height adjustability of the grill grate along the length of the housing. Multiple vent apertures form in the sidewalls to enable air circulation for enhanced grilling. Insulated handles facilitate gripping and manipulation of the portable outdoor grill. A Z-shaped spatula facilitates access to the offset grill grate below the rim.

A grilling device has a body, a cooking grate and a charcoal grate. The charcoal grate has a top side and a bottom side, is permeable to air, and has at least two parts. The at least two parts are tiltably arranged and, in the tilted position, form a space for fuel. The charcoal grate has holes on the top side and on the bottom side.

Each lifting unit has a screw rod, a sliding block movable along the screw rod, and a lift frame mounted to the sliding block. The synchronizer connects the lifting units. The drive unit is connected to the screw rod of one of the lifting units and is operable to drive synchronized rotation of the screw rods through the synchronizer. The grill grate is supported by the lift frames for moving between a first position, where the grill grate is proximate to the heating unit, and a second position, where the grill grate is distal from the heating unit.
