An information product or item, such as a for sale sign, can be configured with contact information and/or elements that link the information product to a networked system and related services (with the product being called a for information product or FIP in the description). These services can make available applications such as phone and web application that can be helpful in providing an additional mechanism/electronic media as it relates to the FIP and/or any FIP related product/object/item. These services may aid someone to whom the FIP belongs in fielding, FIP related, viewer inquires while providing the FIP viewer with more options, upon making requests to said system services. The FIP may make available linked application system services to viewers of the FIP, which may belong to someone who does not know how to link such services in other ways.

A marking strip has a plurality of marking elements which are connected to each other by a connecting region. The marking strip having the marking elements is designed to mark electrical devices, in particular electrical devices that can be arranged next to each other such as terminal blocks. A laser printable shelf talker label sheet includes one or more removable shelf talker labels. The shelf talker label sheet includes a printable face layer laminated to a support layer, and one or more die cut removable shelf talker labels. A sheet includes a first surface, a second surface, an adhesive portion, a fold-back portion, and a first area. The first surface extends in a first direction. The second surface is opposite to the first surface, and allows light to pass therethrough from the first surface to the second surface. The adhesive portion is a portion of the first surface to which an adhesive is applied, and is disposed at a first end portion of the sheet in the first direction. The fold-back portion is disposed on the first end portion. The first area is disposed on the adhesive portion between a first edge of the first end portion and the fold-back portion.

A linerless thermal label web includes layers in the following order: a release layer, a thermal paper comprising a heat sensitive part, and an adhesive layer, wherein the adhesive layer includes an adhesive deadening varnish at longitudinal edge areas of the linerless thermal web so as to reduce the tackiness of the adhesive layer in the longitudinal edge areas. A thermal label can be produced from the label web and the label web can be used for variable information printing applications.

Paper is disclosed for use in making repositionable or removable adhesive labels. The adhesive can be applied in patches or discrete areas to the paper or to a layer of material that cleans rollers in the manufacturing line and/or in printers. The adhesive can be applied in single or multiple layers. The paper is light weight paper and preferably thermal paper for use in POS printers.

A label medium and an apparatus for manufacturing the label medium are provided. The label medium includes a release sheet and an adhesive sheet temporarily adhered to the release sheet. The adhesive sheet has a base layer and an adhesive layer provided on the base layer. The adhesive sheet includes a plurality of label parts printed on the base layer and a frame part provided outside the label parts. The adhesive sheet is cut along an outline of each of the label parts. A laminate that possesses dye sublimation properties, particularly for use as tagless labels and embellishments for garments, apparel, fabric items and so forth such as sportswear fabrics, clothing and accessories is provided. The laminate includes a dye sublimation ink layer that overlies a substrate in which the dye sublimation ink interacts with the substrate's chemical make-up.

A rotatable self-lam for attachment to an elongate object can be made by variations to conventional self-lams. In some forms, the rotatable self-lam can be made by folding a portion of the head end of the self-lam onto itself to provide an adhesive-free length which is first wrapped around the elongate object during marker application. In other forms, a bifurcated release liner can have a portion proximate the head end of the marker which can be removed to help template or accommodate the fold to create the adhesive-free length or can have a portion proximate the head end which is retained when the portion proximate the tail end is removed such that the retained portion of the release liner provides an adhesive-free surface during application.
