SEALING FILM
A sealing film, comprising a carrier film and a plurality of functional layers comprising at least two color display layers and at least two adhesion-controlling layers, the sealing film having an adhesive layer for fastening to a base surface, the carrier film being at least partially detachable from the functional layers in order to bring the sealing film from a first state into a second state, at least one symbol arrangement being optically visible at least in a remainder in the second state, which at least one symbol arrangement is arranged in a first subregion and a second subregion. According to the invention, the functional layers and the adhesive layer are at least partially translucent and the functional layers comprise at least one additional color display layer and at least one additional adhesion-controlling layer, the functional layers being designed in such a way that the at least one symbol arrangement is optically better visible in the first subregion than in the second subregion on a light background and that the at least one symbol arrangement is optically better visible in the second subregion than in the first subregion on a dark background.
SEPARATION INDICATOR FOR HOTEL DOORS AND OTHER MOVEABLE OBJECTS
A separation indicator for indicating when a door has been opened. The separation indicator includes a substrate having opposed inner and outer surfaces and first and second portions, with an elongated tear line between the first and second portions. An adhesive material is applied to the inner surface of the substrate and a message, pattern, or design is printed on the outer face of the substrate. The indicator further comprises a series of perforations separated by uncut links along the tear line, with at least a part of the perforations being angled with respect to the tear line. The links hold the first and second portions of the substate together when the indicator is first placed on a door and break along the tear line when the door to which the indicator is attached is opened. Movement of the door to the open position causes the substrate to tear along the tear line while the first and second portions of the substrate remain adhered to the door and door jamb.
SECURITY ELEMENT WITH COLOR SHIFT EFFECT AND MANIPULATION DETECTION
The invention relates to a security element with manipulation detection, in particular a security label or a transferable element, having the following layers: a) a first layer which is an embossed support substrate or a support substrate (1) with a coating layer (6) that has an optically active structure (7) or a first liquid crystal layer, b) a second layer which is a liquid crystal layer (3), c) a light-absorbing layer (4), and d) an adhesive layer (5), wherein the adhesion between the layers a. and b. is lower than the adhesion between the layers b., c., and d., and the security element has a color shift effect.
Indicator tags that exhibit color transition
An indicator tag and a method for fabricating the same are disclosed. For example, the indicator tag includes a three-dimensional mesh comprising a plurality of pores, wherein the three-dimensional mesh is printed with a water soluble and ultra-violet (UV) light curable ink, a container enclosing the three-dimensional mesh, a membrane coupled to the three-dimensional mesh, and a dye dispensed on top of the membrane, wherein the three-dimensional mesh interacts with the dye when in contact with the dye to provide an indication.
Reflection suppression segment having inclined surfaces, display, and method for verifying display
A dielectric layer comprising an embossed surface and a flat surface which is located at a side opposite to the embossed surface is provided. The plane that approximates the flat surface is the X-Y plane, and the normal direction to the X-Y plane is the Z direction. The embossed surface has inclined surfaces that are inclined with respect to the Z direction, and the inclined surfaces reflect incident light incident on the dielectric layer and emerge reflected light. The elevation angle, which is an angle between the inclined surface and the X-Y plane, is α. The refractive index of the dielectric layer is n. These values satisfy Formula (1): sin α≤(1/n)<sin 2α.
High visibility safety tag
A high visibility safety tag device including a body member and a safety tag member. The body member including a first adhesive element, an elastic element and a second adhesive element. The first adhesive element including an adhesive mechanism for attachment to an object at a first location, the elastic element including an elastic strap positioned in a vertical orientation along the body of the object with the first adhesive element and the second adhesive element positioned at opposite ends of the elastic element. The second adhesive element including an adhesive mechanism for attachment to the object at a second location which is located at an opposite end from the first location. The safety tag member is attached to the body member and includes a safety tag, and wherein the body member and the attached safety tag member are positioned vertically along the object in a manner such that a part of the device is visible from a front side of the object and a part of the device is visible from a back side of the object.
MARKING ELEMENT
A marking element that enables to suppress counterfeiting specific information by making specific information made by electronic watermark pattern hard to be read. The marking element includes: a marking formed in a base plate with background pattern having engraved recesses made by irradiating the base plate with a laser; an identifying mark formed with recesses made by overwrite-engraving the background pattern with the laser, the recesses being deeper than the recesses of the background pattern; and a hidden mark with recesses made by overwrite-engraving the part different from the part of the identifying mark in the background pattern with the laser, the recesses are formed to be deeper than the background pattern, wherein the hidden mark having different recognition form from the identifying mark.
SEALING FILM
Sealing film for application to a base surface includes a carrier film and functional layers that include at least two color display layers and at least two adhesion-controlling layers. The sealing film has an adhesive layer for attachment to the base surface. The functional layers are arranged between the carrier film and the adhesive layer. The carrier film is detachable, at least partially, from the functional layers. In a second state at least one symbol is optically visible but not visible in a first state. The at least two adhesion-controlling layers separate defined regions from the at least two color display layers during carrier film detachment. The functional layers include at least one further adhesion-controlling layer, to make at least one layer behind the further adhesion-controlling layer, viewed from the carrier film toward the adhesive layer, visible in the second state, at least in certain sections, via the detachment.
PEELING DETECTION LABEL
The present invention relates to a peel detection label that is a laminate having a backing, a pattern layer formed on a part of a surface of the backing, and a pressure sensitive adhesive laminate in this order, the pressure sensitive adhesive laminate having at least an intermediate layer and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer, wherein a tensile modulus Et at 23° C. of the backing is 50 MPa or greater and 1000 MPa or less.
MAGNETIC LABELING KIT AND METHODS OF USE
A kit includes one or more pairs of matching color-coded attachment members and tags. The attachment member is configured to be selectively retained to an electrical wire entering an electrical service panel. The corresponding color-coded tag is configured to be attached, such as through magnetic means, to a door of the electrical service panel. The tag includes pre-printed text thereon, which provides descriptive information regarding the electrical circuit formed by the wire to which the attachment member is associated. As such, the color-coding allows a homeowner or technician to easily identify which electrical circuit is controlled by a particular electrical circuit breaker.
