METHOD FOR PRODUCING A LIT COMPONENT FOR A VEHICLE
A lit component for a vehicle has a multi-layered structure with integrated electronic components with an outer surface on the visible side. One of the layers has a metal. On the side of the layer having the metal facing away from the visible side, light-emitting diodes are arranged as part of the electronic components. The layer having the metal that faces away from the visible side is partially covered by a colored layer. The portions of the layer having the metal that are not covered by the colored layer have a three-dimensional shape, in the region of which light de-coupling structures are arranged on the side of the layer having the metal which faces away from the visible side.
Facial recognition software (FRS) interactive images placed on a moving race vehicle
A system for placing real-time interactive images on, inside, or in the general vicinity of a moving vehicle, during a live feed, wherein a user has the capability to pause and then click on the provided HTML hyperlinks with the goal of a user learning more about an image and related products. The Images are read by Facial Recognition Software comparing a limited database of images.
Vehicle extended stop arm
An apparatus (100), including: a framework (104) configured to be secured to a vehicle; an arm base (106) configured to pivot relative to the framework between a retracted position and an extended position; an arm (110) removably secured to and extending from the arm base; and a shock absorber (142) configured to absorb shock and to prevent relative movement between the arm base and the arm.
DEVICE AND A METHOD FOR COVERING OR SWITCHING OFF INFORMATION DISPLAYED ON AN OUTER SURFACE OF A VEHICLE
A device and a method for covering or switching off information displayed on an outer surface of a vehicle involves the device covering or switching off information displayed on the outer surface when a situation deviating from a normal state is present.
ILLUMINATION APPARATUS FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
An illumination apparatus for a motor vehicle, the illumination apparatus having a printed circuit board having a plurality of light-emitting diodes arranged thereon. An optical lens plate and a reflector element are provided with the reflector element being arranged between the printed circuit board and the optical lens plate. The reflector element has a plurality of segments into which the reflector element is divided, and each light-emitting diode is associated with a segment so that light emitted from the light-emitting diodes is reflected at the reflector element and passes through the optical lens plate.
ILLUMINATION DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
An illumination device for a motor vehicle having a printed circuit board with a plurality of light emitting diodes disposed thereon. An optical pane and a reflector element are provided, whereby the reflector element is disposed between the printed circuit board and the optical pane. The reflector element has a plurality of segments into which the reflector element is divided. Each light emitting diode is assigned a segment so that light emitted from the light emitting diodes is reflected by the segments of the reflector element and passes through the optical pane.
Systems and methods for one-click delivery of autonomous vehicle
A delivery system includes a database configured to store information of a customer where the information includes a default payment method, a communication system configured to communicate with an autonomous vehicle and with a device of the customer, where the device includes a display screen having a button to summon an autonomous vehicle, at least one processor, and a memory storing instructions. The instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the delivery system to receive an indication via the communication system that the button on the device of the customer has been clicked, and instruct the autonomous vehicle to travel to a location of the customer.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MONITORING A SIGNAGE SYSTEM OF A TRANSIT VEHICLE
A sign-monitoring system includes at least one electronic sign and a controller comprising a processor and memory. The electronic sign includes a pixel array, the pixel array including a plurality of pixels. The electronic sign further includes an embedded controller coupled to the at least one electronic sign. The embedded controller develops diagnostic information for the at least one electronic sign, the diagnostic information including information related to a number of malfunctioning pixels in the plurality of pixels. The controller is communicably coupled to the embedded controller and receives at least a portion of the diagnostic information from the embedded controller. In addition, the controller assesses the at least a portion of the diagnostic information to develop health information. The assessment involves evaluating the information related to the number of malfunctioning pixels.
VENTED TONNEAU COVER FOR A CARGO BED OF A PICKUP TRUCK
A vented tonneau cover for a cargo bed of a pickup truck. The cargo bed of the pickup truck is defined by a pair of side walls having tops, respectively, and a tailgate to access the cargo bed of the pickup truck. The top of each side wall of the cargo bed of the pickup truck has a pair of ends. Each end of the top of each side wall of the cargo bed of the pickup truck has a through bore therein. The vented tonneau covering includes netting that covers the cargo bed of the pickup truck, and an apparatus that holds down the netting over the cargo bed of the pickup truck.
ROADWAY WORK AREA SAFETY TRUCK
A safety truck includes: an over-cab storage rack to store nested stacks of barrel-type safety barriers; a man basket mounted within an inset formed in a flat bed of the safety truck along the left or right side of the safety truck to provide a support platform below the flat bed to enable personnel to ergonomically place the barrel-type safety barriers on a roadway; a sign cage mounted to the flat bed to store components of warning signs; a display board that includes speed detection radar to detect a speed of a vehicle approaching the safety truck, at least one display device to display a message readable from behind the safety truck, and a camera to capture an image of the approaching vehicle; and/or a truck-mounted attenuator connected to the rear of the safety truck to absorb kinetic energy of the approaching vehicle colliding with the TMA.
