An image display method applicable to a video conferencing system with a wide-angle webcam is disclosed. The wide-angle webcam is used to capture a panoramic image having an aspect ratio greater than or equal to 2:1. The method includes: framing multiple regions of interest (ROIs) according to the panoramic image, each ROI having at least one of attributes; selecting one from predetermined frame layouts as an output frame layout according to whether to insert a portion of the panoramic image and attributes, positions and the number of the ROIs; and inserting at least one of the portion of the panoramic image and the ROIs into corresponding windows in the output frame layout to form a composite frame according to the attributes of the ROIs.

An embodiment operates by receiving a command configured to instruct an API to render a graphics element. The embodiment further operates by generating, based on the command, a transcoded command configured to instruct the API to render a modified graphics element by applying a set of modification factors to a portion of the command. Subsequently, the embodiment operates by transmitting the transcoded command to the API.

The present technology relates to an image processing apparatus, an image processing method, and a program that a memory capacity necessary for deformation processing of each frame image of a moving image can be reduced. Pixel data of a first frame image being each frame image of an input moving image is written into a predetermined plurality of storage areas in a storage unit in a predetermined write-in order, and the pixel data of the first frame image written into the storage unit is reads out in a predetermined read-out order, thereby generating a second frame image being the first frame image deformed. The write-in of the pixel data and the read-out of the pixel data are performed in parallel, the first frame image is divided into blocks in 2 rows×2 columns or more, the blocks are written into each of the storage area one by one, and the block to be written next is written into the storage area that becomes vacant by reading out the pixel data immediately before. The present technology is applicable, for example, to an image processing apparatus.

An object of the invention is to convert input RGB data to R′G′B′W data without suffering loss of gradations of the input RGB data. A display panel 12 is configured having unit pixels made up of subpixels of RGBW (red, green, blue, white). In an RGB.fwdarw.R′G′B′W conversion section 10, conversion is carried out under conditions that usage rate of W is less than 100%, and a bit width of input RGB data us larger than a bit width of R′G′B′W data after conversion. In the RGB.fwdarw.R′G′B′W conversion section 10, R1G1B1values and W values are determined so that an absolute value of a sum of values obtained by multiplying differences between respective RGB data input and respective RGB components in R′G′B′W data after conversion by a weight, becomes minimum.
