APPARATUS FOR COOKING FOOD PRODUCTS
An apparatus for cooking food products, comprising a main body, a containing chamber suitable to contain a cooking liquid, an exit element of the cooking liquid from said containing chamber, and a removal device.
CLOSING DEVICE FOR AN APPARATUS FOR COOKING FOOD PRODUCTS
A closing device able to be associated with a cooking apparatus of the type where the food product is totally or partly immersed in a cooking liquid, for example a deep fryer, with a main body defining an internal chamber and with a mouth to which a tube to discharge the cooking liquid is coupled. The closing device comprises at least one insert which can be selectively associated with an end open toward the outside of the discharge tube, a closing element which can be selectively associated with the insert, and a gasket interposed between the insert and the closing element.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR SUPPORTING AND PREPARING FOODS
Reduced cooking liquid usage deep fryers, particularly adapted to cooking fowl, as well as other articles. Cooking liquid storage and filtering apparatus. Heating element structure configured to reduce the overall height of a deep fryer. Food support apparatus which simplify food handling. Cooking vessel configurations configured to reduce cooking liquid usage. Volume displacement members which may reduce cooking liquid usage. Fry basket construction. Food support and containment structures. Cooking liquid overflow safety structures. Passive condensation exhaust filtering. Apparatus allowing the cooking of stuffing and/or other articles, while deep frying a fowl or other articles. Removable dual food support handles. Food support apparatus for deep fryers which deep fry only a portion of unitary food article at one time.
Oil reclamation device and process
A fryer filtration arrangement includes an oil reclamation system to reclaim used filtered cooking oil.
LOW OIL USAGE TURKEY FRYER
Food supports comprising vertical walled sleeves of both fixed and variable circumferences, and adaptable to be used standalone or to be used while disposed within a fry basket. A filter filters which filter cooking liquid while it remains within a cooking vessel. A supports is configured to contact and compress large food items. A heating apparatus is configured to allow foods to more efficiently adapt to restricted height circumstances. A cooking liquid overflow control includes a spillway and a storage reservoir. An emissions filter is configured to segregate filtered material through condensation as well as debris collection. A cooking device is configured for filtration and storage of both liquid and gaseous emissions. A user controlled power shutoff is configured to facilitate user access for quick disconnection via a magnetic plug. A full containment food support is configured to provide controlled entry and exit of fluids. A food support basket, is configured to be adaptable to immersing foods in liquids and/or suspending foods above liquids.
LOW OIL USAGE TURKEY FRYER
Embodiments to deep fat fry comestibles, including large food items. Such embodiments potentially being versatile enough to at least: deep fry, steam, bake, slow cook, and boil foods. Embodiments comprising contained food support vessels immersed into frying temperature cooking liquid baths, as well as boiling water, as well as hot air. Automatic fryer cleaning systems, utilizing food support vessels which drain through filter media. Contained food support vessels capped by lids. Unitary filter media configured to selectively remove debris and pollutants from both gasses and liquids exiting food support vessels. Condensation filtering into easy to empty and clean collection cups. Safety cooking liquid overflow protection into easily to empty and clean cups. A versatile, compactable funnel which may double as a cutting and food preparation surface.
Oil handling and monitoring device and system
An architecture is presented that provides an oil monitoring device designed primarily to monitor, measure, and display measurement parameters for a containment tank of fresh or waste oil. The monitoring device can be positioned on the containment tank of fresh or waste oil, or can be positioned proximate to the containment tank, as long as the monitoring device remains in communication with the containment tank. The monitoring device comprises a real-time level sensor that is in communication with the containment tank of cooking oil. The level sensor measures usage and collection volumes, as well as filtration status of the containment tank in real-time and displays the information to a user via a display. Furthermore, the monitoring device comprises alarms to alert users of specific oil levels. The monitoring device can either be a stand-alone device or be linked to a computer program to function as a data management system.
Pressure assist feature for pressure fryer
Methods and systems disclosed herein may be methods for rapidly increasing pressure in a pressure fryer cooking vessel during a cooking cycle. Such methods and systems may comprise determining whether a pressure output in the cooking vessel is closed. Such methods and system may also include determining a pressure of the cooking vessel, comparing the pressure of the cooking vessel to a predetermined optimal pressure to determine whether the pressure of the cooking vessel is less than the optimal pressure, and activating a filter pump configured to supply air from a drain pan into the cooking vessel in response to determining that the pressure output is closed and the pressure of the cooking vessel is less than the optimal pressure. Such methods and systems may further include deactivating the filter pump when the pressure within the cooking vessel is equal to or greater than the optimal pressure.
FRYER APPARATUS INCLUDING PRESSURE ASSIST FEATURE
A fryer apparatus is disclosed herein for rapidly increasing pressure in a pressure fryer cooking chamber during a cooking cycle. Such fryer apparatus may determine whether a pressure output in the cooking chamber is closed. The fryer apparatus also determines a pressure of the cooking chamber, compares the pressure of the cooking chamber to a predetermined optimal pressure to determine whether the pressure of the cooking chamber is less than the optimal pressure, and activates a filter pump that supplies air from a drain pan into the cooking chamber in response to determining that the pressure output is closed and the pressure of the cooking chamber is less than the optimal pressure. The fryer apparatus further deactivates the filter pump when the pressure within the cooking chamber is equal to or greater than the optimal pressure.
FILTERING DRAIN PLUG FOR A KITCHEN APPLIANCE
