The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a driving circuit, a driving method thereof and a display apparatus, and relates to the field of display technology. The driving circuit is configured to drive a to-be-driven element and includes a driving element. The driving element and the to-be-driven element are coupled in series between a first operating voltage terminal and a second operating voltage terminal. The driving element comprises a driving sub-circuit, a writing sub-circuit and a gray scale control sub-circuit. The writing sub-circuit writes a first data voltage provided by the first data signal terminal into the driving sub-circuit. The gray scale control sub-circuit transmits the first operating voltage provided by the first operating voltage terminal to the driving sub-circuit. The driving sub-circuit generates a drive current. The gray scale control sub-circuit also controls an on-state duration of the current path.

The display panel includes: a plurality of sub-pixels arranged in an array, a plurality of data lines, and a plurality of compensation detection lines, wherein each data line is coupled with sub-pixels in one column; sub-pixels in every three columns serve as one first sub-pixel group, and each first sub-pixel group corresponds to two compensation detection lines which include a first detection line and a second detection line; and in each first sub-pixel group, sub-pixels in the first column are coupled with the first detection line, sub-pixels in the third column are coupled with the second detection line, and sub-pixels in the second column are alternatively coupled with the first detection line and the second detection line.

Two steps of a pixel circuit duty cycle can be realized by completing initialization in synchronization during the program period at same time, maintaining a gate voltage of a driving transistor, and compensating for a threshold voltage drift in the driving transistor. Thereby improving response speed of the organic light emitting device, and increasing refresh rate of the display panel.

This document describes systems and techniques for delaying anode voltage reset for quicker response times in organic light-emitting diode (OLED) displays. In an aspect, a pixel circuit includes a transistor electrically connected to an anode of an organic light-emitting diode and a reset voltage. Upon receiving an anode reset signal, the transistor completes the circuit causing the anode voltage to reset to the reset voltage in an anode voltage reset process. Delaying anode voltage reset can hasten response times in OLED displays.
