Mobile terminal and control method thereof
The present disclosure relates to a mobile terminal for transmitting and receiving data using a wireless communication module and a control method thereof, and there is provided a mobile terminal for performing a notification display function in cooperation with a wireless communication unit, a touch screen and a controller, wherein the controller performs the notification display function through the steps of receiving notification information for notifying that information satisfying a preset condition is displayed on the other terminal, from the other terminal connected thereto in a wireless manner, and controlling the touch screen to display visual information indicating that information satisfying the preset condition is displayed on the transmitting terminal based on the notification information.
Dynamic text layout rules
A system, method and non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium are disclosed for implementing dynamic layout rules for attributed text strings having different type styles. In some implementations, developers can use an Application Programming Interface (API) or a design tool to specify dynamic text layout rules for rendering attributed text strings in a user interface (UI). Various text attributes associated with the different type styles (e.g., font metrics) are dynamically adjusted based on the dynamic text layout rules to improve the readability of the text when, for example, font sizes are adjusted. In some implementations, one or more parameters of a text container, text container region, line-fragment or display object are dynamically adjusted based on the dynamic text layout rules to improve the readability of the text.

A processor may receive a request to display descriptive information for a location of interest on a device. The processor may retrieve a first set of attributes for the location of interest and compare the retrieved set of attributes to a second set of attributes for a location associated with the device. The processor may reduce the first set of attributes to a reduced set of attributes comprising attributes that are different from the attributes in the second set of attributes. The processor may cause the device to display the reduced set of attributes.

In one implementation, a minimum width is set for each of the one or more fields, and the fields that can meet the minimum width based on the current mobile device screen size are displayed.

A method and apparatus for displaying a User Interface (UI) in a portable electronic device through a sub device is provided. The method includes sensing, by the portable electronic device, an input corresponding to displaying of a popup menu, which is provided by an application, on the sub device, transmitting UI configuration information corresponding to the popup menu to the sub device, receiving, from the sub device, user input data corresponding to a user input sensed on the popup menu that is displayed on the sub device, and controlling execution of the application in response to the received user input data.
