A vehicle display device includes a HUD device that projects image light of an image, which is to be displayed, on a windshield WS of a vehicle such that a virtual image I* of the image is visually recognized by reflected light. The vehicle display device is operable to display a plurality of images having a priority order, and an image having a high priority order is displayed such that an image displayed in a specified region As of the windshield WS has a predetermined display rate (=an area of the image/an area of the specified region) or less. Warning images I2 and I31 to I34 are set in a priority order higher than that of the driving support images I11 to I13.

ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING PREVIEW IMAGES FOR BACKGROUND SCREEN FOR FLEXIBLE DISPLAY AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

An electronic device comprises a display having a display area, wherein a size of the display area visually exposed in a first state of the electronic device is reduced and a size of the display area visually exposed in a second state of the electronic device is enlarged, and a processor operatively connected to the display, wherein the processor may be configured to acquire state information of the electronic device, successively display a first preview image and a second preview images on the display, based on the state information of the electronic device, wherein the first preview image includes a first area of a specified image and corresponds to a preview image of a background screen in the first state, wherein the second preview image comprises a second area including the first area and a further area extending from the first area, and corresponds to a preview image of a background screen in the second state, and specify the image as a background screen, based on a first user input.

Using camera on computer simulation controller
11553020 · 2023-01-10 · ·

A computer simulation controller includes a camera that can be used to image a display on which a computer simulation, controlled by the controller, can be presented. The camera images information on the display, such as display identification (ID), and sends the information to a server streaming the simulation. Based on the information, the server knows to which display to stream the simulation.

FOCUS OF SHARED CONTENT
20230214958 · 2023-07-06 ·

Methods and systems for allowing for techniques of automatically targeting focus and enlarging images upon detection that a receiver of shared video content is using a smaller screen. The presenter may indicate a focus point on the displayed video being shared to indicate where the targeted focusing and enlarging should be centered. A focus area and an enlargement factor may be calculated based on a difference in screen size between a presenter device and a destination device. The focus area and enlargement factor may be calculated such that elements of the shared video content are substantially the same size to a viewer of the destination device as they appear to the presenter on their presenter device. Different destination devices may have different focus areas and enlargement factors.

System enabling digital signature of a document in an online meeting

The system comprises a first data processing system, a second data processing system, and a server. The system further includes four screens. The first and third screen comprises a video stream and an audio stream. The second and fourth screen comprises a video stream displaying visual contents of a first document that is to be digitally signed by the first and second user. The first and second data processing systems are configured to receive a first and second unique signature from the first and second user, respectively, and add it to the first document. The server is configured to coordinate communication between the first and second data processing systems, record the visual contents of the first screen, the second screen, the third screen and the fourth screen, and store the recording.

Controlling interactivity of digital content overlaid onto displayed data via graphics processing circuitry using a frame buffer

An apparatus, method, and computer readable medium that access a frame buffer of a graphics processing unit (GPU), analyze, in the frame buffer, a frame representing displayed data, based on the analyzed frame, identify a reference patch that includes an instruction to retrieve content, generate an overlay including an augmentation layer which includes the content, superimpose the overlay onto the displayed data such that the content is viewable while a portion of the base layer is obscured, detect a user input, determine a location of the user input in the augmentation layer, associate the location in the augmentation layer with a target location in the base layer, and associate, within memory, the target location with an operation such that the user input in the augmentation layer activates an input in the base layer.

ADAPTIVE FRONT FLASH VIEW

The technical problem of enhancing the quality of an image captured in low light conditions by a front facing camera is addressed by providing an adaptive front flash system. An adaptive front flash system automatically adjusts configuration parameters of an overlaid view that operates in lieu of a front flash, termed a front flash view. The configuration parameters are adjusted based on characteristics of the output of the digital image sensor of the front facing camera. Examples of configuration parameters of the front flash view include one or more of brightness of the display, color temperature of the front flash view, and transparency of the front flash view.

System and method for synchronized streaming of a video-wall

A system is disclosed for processing and streaming real-time graphics by a video-server for synchronized output via secondary-network connected display adapters to multiple displays arranged as a video-wall. This system enables the video-server to leverage performance advantages afforded by advanced GPUs, combined with low-cost Smart displays or System-on-Chip devices to deliver advanced realtime video-wall capabilities over the network while offering flexibility in the selection of network display adapters and still achieving synchronized output of multiple sub-image streams to selected end-point displays. This has applications generally in the field of real-time multiple-display graphics distribution as well as specific applications in the field of network video-walls. A method and computer readable medium are also disclosed that operate in accordance with the system.

Method and apparatus for self-selection by participant to display a mirrored or unmirrored video feed of the participant in a videoconferencing platform
11546385 · 2023-01-03 ·

A gallery view or a virtual space view is provided in an online meeting user interface associated with a videoconferencing system. The gallery view or virtual space view displays video feeds of meeting participants on their respective participant computers. The video feeds are camera-captured views of each of the meeting participants. The videoconferencing system receives an electronic request from one or more meeting participants via the meeting participant's respective participant computer to either display a mirrored view of the video feed of the meeting participant to all meeting participants in the online meeting, or display an unmirrored view of the video feed of the meeting participant to all meeting participants in the online meeting. A video processor associated with the videoconferencing system creates the respective mirrored or unmirrored view of the video feed of each of the meeting participants whose participant computer sent the electronic request. The videoconferencing system then generates instructions for a gallery view or virtual space view in the online meeting user interface using the mirrored or unmirrored view of the video feeds created by the video processor, and transmits instructions to display the gallery view or virtual space view to all meeting participants on their respective participant computers.

Posture detection and correction
11544865 · 2023-01-03 · ·

Various implementations disclosed herein include devices, systems, and methods for detecting and correcting the posture of users of electronic devices. In some implementations, an image capture device or other sensor is used to estimate or otherwise determine a posture of a user. As a specific example, a head mounted device (HMD) may include a camera that captures an image of the user wearing the device and the image may be analyzed to identify 3D joint locations representing the current posture of the user relative to the HMD. The user's posture is analyzed to assess whether a posture correction or change is desirable, for example, by classifying the posture as good or bad or by scoring the posture on a numerical scale. If a posture correction or change is desirable, appropriate feedback to encourage the user to adopt the posture correction or otherwise change his or her posture is identified and provided.
