DRUM HEAD AND ATTACHMENT METHOD OF CUSHION
A drum head and an attachment method of a cushion are provided. A drum head includes: a diaphragm; an outer cushion that is joined to the diaphragm and has a predetermined cushioning property; an inner cushion that is interposed between the outer cushion and the diaphragm and has a predetermined cushioning property; and at least one joint that joins the outer cushion to the diaphragm in a state in which the inner cushion is pressed against the diaphragm by the outer cushion.
PERCUSSION INSTRUMENT
A percussion instrument includes a drum head arranged on a support with a flange of the drum head extending from the support, wherein the support is an inner ring, and an outer ring comprising an abutment that is configured to engage the flange of the drum head. The inner ring and the outer ring are concentrically arranged and moveable relative to each other in a longitudinal direction. The percussion instrument also includes a tensioning mechanism having an external screw thread going around on an outer circumference of the inner ring, and an internal screw thread going around on an inner circumference of the outer ring.

Drum with self-aligning snare
A snare drum including a self-alignment component is disclosed. The self-alignment component may be engaged by a tensioning band, which can attach to one end of a snare that contacts or is proximate a bottom drum head. The tensioning band may loop around a part of the self-alignment component, such as an alignment piece thereof. The geometry of the self-alignment component is designed to allow the tensioning band to self-align such that portions on opposing sides of the alignment piece have approximately equal tension therein and/or have approximately equal length, thus allowing for a properly aligned snare on the bottom drum head. The self-alignment component can include a plate portion attached to a drum sidewall or tensioning device on a drum sidewall, and can further include a cover portion for attachment to the plate portion.
LOW VOLUME DRUMHEAD
According to some embodiments, a low volume drumhead is disclosed. The low volume drumhead comprises a mesh layer to be removably coupled to a drum hoop. The low volume drumhead further comprises a non-mesh layer affixed to a beatable surface of the mesh layer. An adhesive comprising elastic polymers is used to couple the mesh layer to the non-mesh layer.

Double-layer dumb drum with sand belt adjusting function
A double-layer dumb drum with a sand belt adjusting function includes an upper-layer elastic body, a strike edge, an upper bottom plate, a sand belt adjusting device, an internal resonance chamber, an external resonance chamber, a lower-layer elastic body, and a lower bottom plate. The upper-layer elastic body is fixed to the top of the upper bottom plate; the internal and external resonance chambers are under the upper bottom plate; the sand belt adjusting device is installed in the internal resonance chamber; and the bottom of the internal resonance chamber is sealed by the external resonance chamber. A lower-layer elastic body is fixed to the top of the lower bottom plate; contact points are at the bottom of the external resonance chamber and abut against the top of the lower-layer elastic body; and connecting screws are connected between the upper and lower bottom plates.

Drumhead With Reduced Volume
A reduced volume drumhead has a layer of porous material and a ring of compressible material. The ring of compressible material is fixed to the underside of the layer of porous material in a substantially centered or coaxial position with the porous material stretched across a hoop in tension. The ring may be formed of a foam or similar material with compressibility and stretchability under tension and defines an open central area of the drumhead for striking. The ring may be formed of segments and thus include one or more circumferential breaks with spacing. The drumhead provides natural tonal characteristics and has a natural feel when struck.
