A system including a keyboard including a plurality of keys; a plurality of sensors connected to the plurality of keys; a screen; at least one processor, and a non-transitory computer readable medium comprising instructions, the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, causing the system to effectuate a method comprising: dividing the plurality of sensors into a first group and a second group; receiving a first sensor signal from the first group and a second sensor signal from the second group; generating a first parameter for the first group and a second parameter for the second group; generating a first sound control signal for the first group and a second sound control signal for the second group; generating visual information related to the first and the second sensor signal; and displaying the visual information on the screen.

The input module is configured to receive a musical pattern signal derived from a raw signal. The analysis module is configured to analyze the musical pattern signal to extract a set of audio features, wherein the input module is configured to transmit the musical pattern signal to the analysis module. The generation module is configured to obtain a playing assistance information having an accompaniment pattern from the analysis module, wherein the accompaniment pattern has at least two parts having different onsets therebetween, and each onsets of the at least two parts is generated by an algorithm according to the set of audio features. The musical equipment includes a digital amplifier configured to output an accompaniment signal according to the accompaniment pattern.

A method for online music learning of playing a musical instrument, that may be a string instrument, a woodwind instrument, a brass instrument, a percussion instrument, or vocal (singing) is described. A client device, such as a smartphone or a tablet notifies a person, such as visually by a display or audibly by a sounder, of a sequence of musical symbols that may be part of a musical piece to be played on the musical instrument. The pace or tempo of the notified sequence is adapted according to a stored skill level value of the person and the pace or tempo associated with the musical piece. The client device, monitors, using a microphone(s) in the client device, the errors in the playing of the sequence, and using a predefined accordingly updates the stored skill level value, and accordingly changes the arrangement, pace and/or tempo of the next sequence of musical symbols.

In response to the selection of a musical parameter, the staff canvas and/or keyboard canvas are updated to reflect the musical parameter. In response to selection of the play input, a soundtrack of the scale is output, while simultaneously highlighting the note, being played, on the staff canvas and the key, associated with the note being played, on the keyboard canvas.
