An electronic musical interface performs the following: displaying a chord function progression of a first segment of a musical piece that is to be played by a user in a first region of a display via identifiers specifying respective chord functions; playing back an automatic accompaniment of the first segment; receiving user performance data as the user plays the musical note input device along with the playback of the automatic accompaniment; analyzing each chord contained in the obtained user performance data to determine the chord function of each chord the user played; and displaying, in a second region of the display alongside the first region, an identifier that identifies the determined chord function of the chord the user plays so that the user can determine whether the chord function of each chord the user played matches the chord function of the chord displayed in the first region.

An electronic percussion device has a plurality of triggerable actuators, in the form of any of pads, external trigger inputs or foot switches, that may be organized into synchronized groups, and has an operational mode in which triggering of any actuator within the synchronized group initiates playback of audio events or execution of control functions associated with other of the actuators within the synchronized group in one of multiple different synchronization orders, e.g. one at a time, all simultaneously, random or in a predefined or user-defined consecutive order.

A smart musical instrument system for replaying user performance with auto-play, electronic sound source or video, the system may include a musical instrument, a plurality of sensors, and a processing device. The plurality of sensors may be configured to obtain performance data of a user. The plurality of sensors may include a first sensor configured to obtain first performance data of the user. The performance data may include the first performance data indicating operations of a musical instrument. The processing device may be in communication with the plurality of sensors. The processing device may be configured to compare the performance data with reference music data to generate a comparison result and generate feedback based on the comparison result.

A fingering display device and a fingering display program capable of drawing a fingering moving image close to actual keyboard operations by minimizing the moving distance of the back of a hand is provided. A fingering display program to perform fingering display on a screen by drawing a fingering moving image of playing a musical instrument in a musical piece reproduction based on playing information including respective musical sounds of a musical piece and corresponding finger numbers, wherein when generating a fingering drawing based on fingering position information corresponding to a reproduction time in the musical piece reproduction, the fingering display program makes a computer execute: generating the fingering position information based on single key pressing information, and synthetic key pressing information obtained by synthesizing respective key pressing information at a plurality of different times.

To assist a human player in performing a plurality of foot operators (pedal keys) operable with a human player's foot, a foot operator image indicative of the foot operator group is displayed on a display screen. Chord information of a chord to be performed is acquired, and a pitch of a bass note corresponding to the chord indicated by the acquired chord information is identified. A particular foot operator corresponding to the identified pitch of the bass note is visually designated on the foot operator image displayed on the display screen. An object indicative of a chord name is displayed on the same display screen. Objects indicative of one or more chord names corresponding to a chord progression over a plurality of measures is displayed. A display object highlighting one object indicative of a particular chord name is added in accordance with a progression of a performance.

An instructional method of an electronic keyboard includes the following steps: obtaining a playing script, wherein the playing script is generated by a recording electronic keyboard; the recording electronic keyboard generates the playing script according to a pressed second key and the time of pressing the second key, and the playing script is used for indicating a corresponding relationship between a to-be-pressed key and the time of pressing the to-be-pressed key; controlling an indicator light on the first key of the instructional electronic keyboard to be turned on/off according to the playing script. In this implementation mode, a user can be prompted for the key by an indicator light on the electronic keyboard, which facilitates the user to learn the electronic keyboard.

An electronic musical instrument in one aspect of the disclosure includes; a plurality of operation elements to be performed by a user for respectively specifying different pitches; a memory that stores musical piece data that includes data of a vocal part, the vocal part including at least a first note with a first pitch and an associated first lyric part that are to be played at a first timing; and at least one processor, wherein if the user does not operate any of the plurality of operation elements in accordance with the first timing, the at least one processor digitally synthesizes a default first singing voice that includes the first lyric part and that has the first pitch in accordance with data of the first note stored in the memory, and causes the digitally synthesized default first singing voice to be audibly output at the first timing.

A detection device includes: a movement detector that includes light emitters and light receivers, wherein in accordance with movement of a moving body among moving bodies, each corresponding to a different combination of a light emitter and a light receiver, a light reception level of the light receiver in a combination corresponding to the moving body changes; and a processor coupled to a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, configure the processor to: cause each of the light emitters to sequentially emit light in each light emission period by providing a driving signal, and cause a signal level of the driving signal to differ between unit periods within the light emission period; and select, for each light emission period, a light reception level in one of the unit periods within the light emission period as a detected value for each of the light receivers.

The present disclosure relates to a method and system for calibrating a musical device. In some embodiments, a method for calibrating a musical device includes: energizing an actuator to actuate a key using a force corresponding to a first intensity level; obtaining, from a sensor, a first sensor signal representing motion information of the key corresponding to application of the force; and calibrating the musical device based on the first sensor signal.
