The new IRAFS may comprise a motion system, a dispenser that is configured to deliver one or more types of frozen products, and one or more air-frying Units (AFUs). Wherein the motion system is configured to take an empty frying-basket (FrB), to convey the empty FrB toward the dispenser for loading a certain amount of a certain frozen product into the FrB, and to convey the loaded FrB into an AFU from the one or more AFUs.

APPARATUSES FOR LOADING PORTAFILTERS OF ESPRESSO COFFEE MACHINES WITH DOSES OF GROUND COFFEE HAVING PREDETERMINED WEIGHTS AND COMPOSED OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF COFFEE, ACCORDING TO GIVEN RECIPES
20190357720 · 2019-11-28 ·

An apparatus for loading a portafilter of an espresso coffee machine with a dose of ground coffee having a predetermined weight and composed of a single type of coffee or of a composition of different types of coffee, according to a given recipe.

The apparatus comprises a plurality of hoppers each containing a different type of coffee beans. The exhaust pipes of the hoppers converge into a single collection point associated with a coffee bean weighing device and a coffee bean grinding device that can provide different grinding degrees.

The ground coffee, which may have different particle sizes according to the types of coffee that form the dose, flows into a respective cylindrical container of a loading device having a plurality of containers arranged around a central axis of rotation and a radially and axially open compartment, which is designed to allow the passage of the tamper for tamping the dose of ground coffee in the portafilter, when said compartment is moved by an angular displacement of the loader to alignment with the tamper and with the underlying portafilter.

The apparatus comprises a tamper for tamping the ground coffee, which may also provide different tamping degrees for the different amounts of ground coffee that form the dose according to the selected recipe, as the dose is being received in the portafilter.

FOOD PREPARATION SYSTEM

A food preparation system weighs ingredients added to a receptacle. For identified ingredient and its added weight, a corresponding amount of a set of different sugar type is estimated, and a total sugar content and a sweetness index of the overall recipe is derived. The system determines if there are suitable alternative recipes with reduced total sugar content and similar sweetness index and suggests such determined alternative recipes to the user.

HOUSEHOLD FOOD PROCESSOR

The present disclosure relates to a household appliance, in particular a household food processor, for preparing food particularly by chopping, blending and/or heating the food in a food preparation container. The household appliance comprises the food preparation container, into which an ingredient for food preparation can be fed by the user. At least one sensor for determining a feeding quantity of an ingredient as the ingredient is being fed into the food preparation container is provided, and a control device of the household appliance is configured such that the feeding quantity is determined based on a sensor signal of the sensor. A food that requires a uniform feed of an ingredient for a predetermined period of time can thus be prepared particularly reliably and reproducibly by a user.

Method for Operating a Food Processor

The invention relates to a method (100) for operating a food processor (10), in which, in a preparation mode, at least one processor device (50) of said food processor (10) is actuated so as to prepare food at least partly automatically, wherein a monitoring device (200) determines detection values (106) by detecting (105), at said processor (10), at least two detection variables (102) specific to a state of preparation.

BEVERAGE PREPARATION SYSTEM

A weigh scale unit may be used in conjunction with a beverage preparation machine to prepare beverages efficiently. The weigh scale unit may provide the status of ingredient addition to a beverage receptacle. The weigh scale unit may send instructions and/or data to the beverage preparation machine. In some embodiments, the beverage preparation machine sends instructions and/or data to the weigh scale unit.

The device further includes a scale assembly having a body defining an upper opening and an opposite lower opening and having an annular weight-sensing unit surrounding the upper opening. The body is positionable on the housing of the sifter unit with the opening in communication with the open upper side of the housing. A hopper is positionable on the weight-sensing unit.

SYSTEM FOR CAPTURING POINT OF CONSUMPTION DATA
20190162585 · 2019-05-30 ·

This system describe herein uses a recipe application and verification information from one or more appliances to capture corroborated point of consumption (POC) data for food consumed by an individual. The recipe application may present a graphical recipe interface that includes a recipe step that a certain amount of an ingredient is to be added to a container that is on a kitchen scale. An appliance may detect a change in the mass of the container indicative of addition of the ingredient, and then provide information data associated with the addition of the ingredient to the recipe application via a wired or wireless connection. The recipe application may receive the information, and then verify that the ingredient was added to the scale. Once the addition of the ingredient has been verified, the recipe application generates and stores verified consumption data for the ingredient.
