AUTO-GENERATED ACCOMPANIMENT FROM SINGING A MELODY
A method for processing a voice signal by an electronic system to create a song is disclosed. The method comprises the steps in the electronic system of acquiring an input singing voice recording (11); estimating a musical key (15b) and a Tempo (15a) from the singing voice recording (11); defining a tuning control (16) and a timing control (17) able to align the singing voice recording (11) with the estimated musical key (15b) and Tempo (15a); applying the tuning control (16) and the timing control (17) to the singing voice recording (11) so that an aligned voice recording (20) is obtained. Next, the method comprises the step of generating an music accompaniment (23) as function of the estimated musical key (15b) and Tempo (15a) and an arrangement database (22) and mixing the aligned voice recording (20) and the music accompaniment (23) to obtain the song (12). A system a server and a device are also disclosed.
Apparatus for analyzing musical performance, performance analysis method, automatic playback method, and automatic player system
An apparatus for analyzing musical performance includes a controller. The controller is configured to detect a cue gesture of a performer who plays a piece of music. The controller is also configured to calculate a distribution of likelihood of observation and estimate the playback position depending on the distribution of the likelihood of observation. The calculating of the distribution of the likelihood of observation includes decreasing the likelihood of observation during a period prior to a reference point specified on a time axis for the piece of music in a case where the cue gesture is detected.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SELECTING MUSICAL SAMPLE SECTIONS ON AN ELECTRONIC DRUM MODULE
An electronic drum-module for connection to electronic-drum pads is provided. The module includes an electronic display, a memory storing audio files for playback when the playback is triggered by a signal received from the pads, and one or more processors coupled to the electronic display and the memory. The processors are configured to play a portion of the one or more audio files when the playback is triggered by the signal received from the pads and to display, on the electronic display, a user interface for an application. The user interface includes a waveform associated with recorded audio. The user interface includes a sample-start marker and a sample-end marker. A portion of the waveform between the sample-start marker and sample-end marker is displayed brighter than a portion not between the sample-start marker and the sample-end marker. Playback of the portion may be initiated by striking a drum-pad zone.
Method, system and artificial neural network
It is disclosed a method comprising obtaining a target spectrum, obtaining a set of non-target spectra, the set of non-target spectra comprising one or more non-target spectra, summing the target spectrum and the set of non-target spectra to obtain a mixture spectrum, and training an artificial neural network by using the mixture spectrum as input of the neural network and by using a spectrum which is based on the target spectrum as desired output of the artificial neural network.
Microphone unit and audio apparatus
A microphone unit includes: a case having an interior space; a unidirectional microphone held in the interior space of the case; a first opening provided in the case; and a second opening provided in the case, wherein the first opening and the second opening are arranged opposite to each other across the microphone and are arranged in a straight line parallel to an axis of sensitivity of the microphone.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TRANSFERRING MUSICAL DRUM SAMPLES FROM SLOW MEMORY TO FAST MEMORY
An electronic-drum module for connection to one or more electronic-drum pads is provided. The module includes an electronic display; a first memory storing audio files for playback when the playback is triggered by a signal received from a pad; and one or more processors coupled to the display and the memory. The processors are configured receive an instruction to transfer a set of samples. The set of samples is associated with a priority-instruction and includes a first subset of samples and a second subset of samples. The processors are also configures to transfer the first subset of samples from a second memory to the first memory based on the priority-instruction before transferring the second subset of samples and to transfer the second subset of samples from the second memory to the first memory.
A GRAPHICAL INTERFACE FOR SELECTING A MUSICAL DRUM KIT ON AN ELECTRONIC DRUM MODULE
An electronic-drum module for connection to one or more electronic-drum pads is provided. The module includes an electronic display, a memory storing audio files for playback when the playback is triggered by a signal received from a pad, and one or more processors coupled to the electronic display and the memory. The processors are configured to play the audio files when the playback is triggered and display, on the display, a user interface for an application. The user interface for the application includes a list of available trigger sources. The processors are also configured to receive an instruction to select an available trigger source and display, on the display, a list of available drum kits to associate with the available trigger source. The processors are also configured to display images of the available drum kits in response to receiving an instruction to select an available drum kit.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR GENERATING MUSIC
A terminal for generating music may identify, based on execution of scenario recognition, scenarios for images previously received by the terminal. The terminal may generate respective description texts for the scenarios. The terminal may execute keyword-based rhyme matching based on the respective description texts. The terminal may generate respective rhyming lyrics corresponding to the images. The terminal may convert the respective rhyming lyrics corresponding to the images into a speech. The terminal may synthesize the speech with preset background music to obtain image music.
Lyric page generation method and lyric page generation apparatus
The present disclosure discloses a lyrics page generation method and a lyrics page generation apparatus, belonging to the field of network technologies. The method includes: receiving a lyrics page generation instruction, the lyrics page generation instruction being used for instructing to display a lyrics page of a selected multimedia file list; obtaining a lyrics file of at least one multimedia file in the multimedia file list; and generating a lyrics page according to the lyrics file of the at least one multimedia file, the lyrics page including lyrics information of the at least one multimedia file. The present disclosure provides a brand-new lyrics display manner, which can achieve an effect similar to a lyrics book, so that a user can collect lyrics that the user likes, for subsequent appreciation, so that an application becomes more humanistic, and an amount of information that a lyrics page can provide is greatly increased.
AUTOMATIC ISOLATION OF MULTIPLE INSTRUMENTS FROM MUSICAL MIXTURES
A system, method and computer product for training a neural network system. The method comprises inputting an audio signal to the system to generate plural outputs f(X, ). The audio signal includes one or more of vocal content and/or musical instrument content, and each output f(X, ) corresponds to a respective one of the different content types. The method also comprises comparing individual outputs f(X, ) of the neural network system to corresponding target signals. For each compared output f(X, ), at least one parameter of the system is adjusted to reduce a result of the comparing performed for the output f(X, ), to train the system to estimate the different content types. In one example embodiment, the system comprises a U-Net architecture. After training, the system can estimate various different types of vocal and/or instrument components of an audio signal, depending on which type of component(s) the system is trained to estimate.
