Drumstick controller
A percussion device includes a drumstick assembly. The drumstick assembly includes a drumstick having a base and a tip end, and a drumstick tip secured to the tip end of the drumstick, the drumstick tip including a sensor. The drumstick including the base thereof, and includes at least one control button, a communication element, and a processor in communication with the at least one control button, the drumstick tip and the communication element. The processor is configured to receive a signal from the drumstick tip and to generate output to the communication element. The output so generated includes a signal that specifies a sound file selected by operation of the at least one control button.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TRANSFERRING MUSICAL DRUM SAMPLES FROM SLOW MEMORY TO FAST MEMORY
An electronic-drum module for connection to one or more electronic-drum pads is provided. The module includes an electronic display; a first memory storing audio files for playback when the playback is triggered by a signal received from a pad; and one or more processors coupled to the display and the memory. The processors are configured receive an instruction to transfer a set of samples. The set of samples is associated with a priority-instruction and includes a first subset of samples and a second subset of samples. The processors are also configures to transfer the first subset of samples from a second memory to the first memory based on the priority-instruction before transferring the second subset of samples and to transfer the second subset of samples from the second memory to the first memory.

Graphical interface for selecting a musical drum kit on an electronic drum module
An electronic-drum module for connection to one or more electronic-drum pads is provided. The module includes an electronic display, a memory storing audio files for playback when the playback is triggered by a signal received from a pad, and one or more processors coupled to the electronic display and the memory. The processors are configured to play the audio files when the playback is triggered and display, on the display, a user interface for an application. The user interface for the application includes a list of available trigger sources. The processors are also configured to receive an instruction to select an available trigger source and display, on the display, a list of available drum kits to associate with the available trigger source. The processors are also configured to display images of the available drum kits in response to receiving an instruction to select an available drum kit.
ELECTRONIC PERCUSSION INSTRUMENT AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF ELECTRONIC PERCUSSION INSTRUMENT
Provided is an electronic percussion instrument that can facilitate determination of contact of a detection target conductor with a head. An electronic percussion instrument includes: a tubular body portion with an end surface in an axial direction open; a head that covers the open end surface in the axial direction of the body portion and has a front surface adapted to be hit; and a capacitive sensor that has an electrode disposed on a rear surface side of the head, in which the head includes an electrically isolated conductive head, and no conductor connected to a reference potential point is provided between the front surface of the head and the electrode. In this manner, it is possible to facilitate determination of contact of the detection target conductor with the head.
Hum-cancelling system
A hum-cancelling system includes two or more hum-cancelling coils configured in a distributed manner, connected in series with each other. The hum-cancelling coils form a series circuit that is electrically connected to at least one pickup. Each hum-cancelling coil includes a top plate, a bottom plate, and a coil of wire wrapped between the top plate and the bottom plate.
Electrically amplified marimba
An electrically amplified percussive instrument has at least one tone bar having a bottom side and fundamental nodes each of the fundamental nodes defined by a channel. A permanent magnet on the bottom side of the tone bar is proximal to one of the fundamental nodes and not aligned with a location of maximum tone bar vibration. A pickup coil positioned underneath the tone bar is aligned with the first permanent magnet and in electrical communication with an amplifier.

Hand-1 finger training device
This invention allows a person to train a strumming and picking with a small compact device usable in situations where a guitar is not practical. Multiple string features are attached to a base feature and spaced to allow a user's fingers or plectrum to engage and release in a manner similar with a guitar or stringed instrument. Device is a simplified interface to avoid mechanically tuned strings and allow practice of rhythm techniques.
A user connection feature allows the device to be held relative to the user.
Electronic wind instrument, musical sound generation device, musical sound generation method and storage medium storing program
A musical sound generation device including a blowing pressure sensor which detects a blowing pressure, a key switch which specifies a sound pitch of a musical sound, a first sound source which outputs a first signal corresponding to an exhalation sound, a second sound source which outputs a second signal corresponding to the musical sound having the sound pitch specified by the key switch, and a processor which starts output of the first signal by the first sound source on basis of an operation performed on the key switch, starts output of the second signal by the second sound source on basis of the blowing pressure, and controls a sound volume when the exhalation sound resulting from the first signal is emitted and a sound volume when the musical sound resulting from the second signal is emitted, on basis of the blowing pressure.
