STRIKE DETECTION APPARATUS, STRIKE DETECTION METHOD, SOUNDING CONTROL APPARATUS AND SOUNDING CONTROL METHOD
The present invention provides a sounding control system capable of performing high-accuracy crosstalk suppression while reducing the processing load on a sound source device. When a first pad (12) vibrates, the first pad (12) generates sound emission data (62a1) that is information instructing a sound source device (11) to produce a sound and crosstalk cancellation determination data (62a2) that is information used for canceling crosstalk, and sends the data to the sound source device (11). The sound source device (11) determines whether or not crosstalk has occurred and controls sound emission using the information.
Contact responsive metronome
A metronome including a sensor capable of detecting an event and a controller in communication with the sensor and which controls the metronomes response to the event. The controller may receive a signal from the sensor indicating an occurrence of the event, and the controller, in response, may generate a signal to adjust characteristics of the metronome in response to the event.
INTEGRAL VISUAL LEARNING SYSTEM FOR THE ELECTRIC GUITAR AND SIMILAR INSTRUMENTS
In summary, the integral visual learning system for electric guitar and similar instruments, to which the present invention refers, has a learning method that is integrated into an application for mobile devices and contains all the learning methodology and knowledge that It will be transmitted to the user to develop the ability to play the instrument. This learning method is connected to a display device on the instrument fretboard by means of a Bluetooth communication device and allows the user to visualize by means of the illumination of transparent resins, the information of notes, chords, musical scales, and other information sent from the learning method. The system also has an augmented reality device that is made up of augmented reality glasses that allow the user to visualize a virtual teacher who provides the user with theoretical information, as well as images superimposed with the position and shape of the fingers of your left/right hand to correctly play the notes, chords and musical scales. Likewise, the system has a feedback device that identifies the notes and/or chords that the user played on the instrument and compares them with the notes and/or chords requested in the exercises contained in the learning method, this allows the users identify the precision with which they performed the exercises and gradually improve until they obtain the required mastery at the different learning levels. Finally, the system has a recharge device for a lithium ion battery that powers the entire system.
Systems and methods for transferring musical drum samples from slow memory to fast memory
An electronic-drum module for connection to one or more electronic-drum pads is provided. The module includes an electronic display; a first memory storing audio files for playback when the playback is triggered by a signal received from a pad; and one or more processors coupled to the display and the memory. The processors are configured receive an instruction to transfer a set of samples. The set of samples is associated with a priority-instruction and includes a first subset of samples and a second subset of samples. The processors are also configures to transfer the first subset of samples from a second memory to the first memory based on the priority-instruction before transferring the second subset of samples and to transfer the second subset of samples from the second memory to the first memory.
Reverberating percussion instrument
A reverberating percussion instrument has a resonating chamber of a completely smoothly contoured configuration to facilitate generation of long-duration pitched reverberations, and a plurality of hollow and substantially mutually parallel vibratable tubes of different lengths, each of which being suspended from an element of the resonating chamber by a tensioned filament at each longitudinal end thereof. Reverberated and resonating musical sounds are directed forwardly from the resonating chamber in response to selective vibration of one or more of the tubes.
CYMBAL PICKUP APPARATUS
A cymbal pickup apparatus comprises a housing, a contact wall on the housing, by means of which the pickup apparatus is adapted to be brought into mechanical and sound-transmitting contact with the cymbal, a sound transducer on an inner side of the contact wall for converting a sound signal picked up from the cymbal into an electrical signal representative of the cymbal sound, an electrical connection device on the housing for transmitting the electrical signal, and a signal cable for the electrical signal, wherein the signal cable is detachably connectable to the electrical connection device.
Electronic percussion instrument and detection method using the same
Provided is an electronic percussion instrument that can facilitate determination of contact of a detection target conductor with a head. An electronic percussion instrument includes: a tubular body portion with an end surface in an axial direction open; a head that covers the open end surface in the axial direction of the body portion and has a front surface adapted to be hit; and a capacitive sensor that has an electrode disposed on a rear surface side of the head, in which the head includes an electrically isolated conductive head, and no conductor connected to a reference potential point is provided between the front surface of the head and the electrode. In this manner, it is possible to facilitate determination of contact of the detection target conductor with the head.
Musical instrument with vibrating rods to generate sound
A musical instrument with vibrating rods to generate a sound is provided. The musical instrument includes an acoustic housing having a main body with a first opening and a second opening, a plurality of rods coupled to the acoustic housing and extending beyond the first opening in the main body of the acoustic housing, and a plurality of electromagnetic pickups coupled to the acoustic housing and extending beyond the first opening in the main body of the acoustic housing. The vibration of any one of the plurality of rods enables a corresponding one of the plurality of electromagnetic pickups to generate an electrical signal corresponding to the sound.
Position detection apparatus for a movable electronic percussion instrument
An electronic hi hat cymbal apparatus for detection of vertical movement, including an electronic percussion instrument, configured to be reversibly attached to a shaft of a stand such that the electronic percussion instrument is movable upward and downward by a foot pedal operating the shaft, and a coil, induced with alternating current so as to produce magnetic field in the vicinity thereof by an electronic circuit which is configured for oscillation, and a core, comprising metallic material, disposed such that it is overlapping with the coil during play. The overlapping portion is configured to vary with the upward and downward movement of the electronic percussion instrument such that eddy currents are formed in the core substantially in the overlapping portion thereof, thereby an output signal which vary in accordance to the overlapping portion can be formed by the electronic circuit.
