Input support apparatus and method therefor
An input support method is provided for use in an input support apparatus that supports input of a music note. The method includes: controlling a display unit to display a pitch-time plane that includes a pitch-axis and a time-axis, a chord sequence that is associated with the time-axis of the pitch-time plane, and a pointer that indicates a position on the time-axis along the chord sequence; identifying constituent music notes that form a chord corresponding to a display position of the pointer along the chord sequence; and controlling the display unit to display areas on the pitch-time plane, each displayed area indicating a corresponding one of the identified constituent music notes, differently from other areas on the pitch-time plane.
DYNAMIC FILTERED DATA WITHIN MUSIC CREATION PROJECTS
Dynamic user-defined stave filters enable users of scorewriter software applications to generate de-condensed musical parts from condensed scores. When a stave filter is applied to some or all of a stave displaying multiple types of musical element, one or more of the musical element types are hidden from view. Stave filters remove from display note and/or non-note element types. Filtered staves are linked to corresponding unfiltered staves such that compositional changes in a condensed score are reflected in the linked de-condensed staves. Uses include generation of individual parts from a score or generation of different orchestrations or arrangements. Filtered staves are drawn in an intelligent fashion to ensure that musical data are displayed in a musically valid form that conforms to stylistic conventions.
Musical performance system, terminal device, method and electronic musical instrument
A musical performance system includes an instrument and a terminal. Terminal includes a processor. Processor executes outputting first track data or first pattern data obtained by arbitrarily combining pieces of track data. Processor executes automatically outputting second track data or second pattern data obtained by arbitrarily combining pieces of track data. Instrument includes a processor. Processor executes acquiring first track/pattern data from terminal. Processor executes generating a sound of a music composition in accordance with first track/pattern data. Processor executes acquiring second track/pattern data from terminal. Processor executes generating a sound of a music composition in accordance with second track/pattern data.
ADJUSTING MUSICAL COMPOSITION DATA USING A COMPUTATIONAL MODEL OF RUBATO
A musical composition is varied using a computational model of rubato. Rubato is modeled by changes to the symbolic onset and/or symbolic offset of each note, which allows for a greater flexibility in timing modifications, such as asymptotic tempo and localized retrogrades. A user selects notes to be modified (e.g., by plotting points to modify notes over a selected interval), and a curve fitting (e.g., a cubic spline interpolation) is used to determine modifications for other notes in the composition. These symbolic onset/offset modifications may also be translated into tempo modifications. The symbolic onset and/or offset modifications are applied to the composition to produce an adjusted musical composition, to which rubato has been applied. Rubato profiles can similarly be extracted from existing musical recordings and used to characterize the recordings, such as for training machine learning models and recommender systems.
Music customization user interface
Computing devices and methods for providing a music customization graphical user interface (GUI) to a user computing device are disclosed. The music customization GUI comprises song name selectors that each correspond to a different song and a music player region that includes a song customization selector. A customization window comprises music stem indicators that each correspond to at least one music stem of a selected song. The customization window also comprises mixing buttons that include a first mixing button configured to add a corresponding music stem to a user song mix, and a second mixing button configured to remove the music stem from the user song mix. A download button is configured to download a file comprising the user song mix to a user computing device.
AUDIO SYNTHESIS METHOD, AND COMPUTER DEVICE AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
Provided is an audio synthesis method. Music score data of target music is acquired, wherein the music score data includes audio data identifiers and performance time information corresponding to a plurality of sub-audios, an instrumental timbre corresponding to each of the sub-audios being matched with a hearing-impaired hearing timbre; the sub-audios based on the audio data identifiers corresponding to each of the sub-audios is acquired; and a synthetic audio of the target music is generated by performing a fusion process on the sub-audios based on the performance time information corresponding to each of the sub-audios.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND PROCESSING METHOD FOR INSTANTLY EDITING MULTIPLE TRACKS
An electronic device and a processing method for instantly editing multiple tracks are provided by the present invention, where the electronic device can instantly perform recording for the musical instrument and independent audio mixing. The electronic device can be connected to a first musical instrument and a second musical instrument, and records first audio data and second audio data. Oscillograms corresponding to the first and the second audio data are drawn on a touch screen of the electronic device, and multiple control keys are provided in an editing interface. The electronic device can randomly set a selected area in the oscillogram, and perform relevant audio data adjustment on the selected area. The present invention can be used in a portable musical instrument. A musical performer can perform recording and editing at any time and any place to create a good creation.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CREATING CUSTOMIZED VOCAL ENSEMBLE ARRANGEMENTS
Systems and methods for creating customized vocal ensemble arrangements are provided herein. A user can specify a musical selection and provide information about an ensemble, such as the number of vocalists, vocal range, gender, and display preferences into the system. The system generates a conductor's score and individual vocalist scores that have been customized for each member of the ensemble to match their individual vocal range and tailored to balance the entire ensemble.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR VISUAL IMAGE AUDIO COMPOSITION BASED ON USER INPUT
The present invention relates to systems and methods for visual image audio composition. In particular, the present invention provides systems and methods for audio composition from a diversity of visual images and user determined sound data-base sources.
DYNAMIC MUSIC AUTHORING
A method to author music. The method includes presenting, on a display by a computing device, an audio effect menu, receiving, by the computing device, a first user input selecting a first audio effect from the audio effect menu, generating, in response to receiving the first user input, a first modified audio stream based on a particular audio stream and the first audio effect, receiving, by the computing device while receiving the first user input, a second user input selecting a second audio effect from the audio effect menu, generating, in response to receiving the second user input, a second modified audio stream based on the first modified audio stream and the second audio effect, detecting cessation of the first user input, and continuing, in response to detecting the cessation, generating the second modified audio stream based on the first modified audio stream and the second audio effect.
